Good morning, Dreamers.
This is Harry Halibut on Radio 66.
Heavy radio in the city of Berlin.
In local news this morning,
four youths were found deader than carp in a local lake.
Apparently of heroin overdoses.
And what do I tell you about fishing and taking drugs, huh?
In other news,
squatters took over a couple new buildings
in the northern part of the city.
And I wish they'd take over my place.
It's pretty messy. Maybe they could do something with it.
In music news, Moody, the former keyboard player from the Purple Rats,
has gone solo.
And has teamed up with a guy named Kenneth Barlow,
an American producer
who had something to do with the Rolling Stones back in the 60s.
Anyway, Barlow was born in Heidelberg.
Some say he was the son of an American spy there.
He worked as a photographer in Vietnam during the war.
He's been around.
More recently, he was an ordained minister
in the Sun City Unification Church in Palo Alto, California.
Now he's discovered Moody.
They're going into one of Berlin's finest studios this morning
to begin work on an album tentatively to be titled White Star.
There seems to be a lot of money involved in that.
And tonight, as a special treat at the Gomorrah Club, you can see Moody,
in concert, for the first time, doing his own new music from White Star.
That's Moody Tonight at 9 o'clock at the Gomorrah Club.
- Hey. - What did you do, buddy?
- Hey, she's cool, man. Good. - Hey.
Your gettin' hot out there, you hear that, kid?
I'm not dead, huh?
Look at that.
He's a big star now. You look terrific.
- You think so? - Yeah, you look great.
Your suit. You know it's dirty back there.
- Oh yeah. - Yeah.
That's the reason for that, you see.
They never turn you back to the audience.
Never turn you back to the audience, my advice.
You know that Alan Ladd wore this in Shane, but they cut the scene out?
You know that Errol Flynn wore this in Captain Blood?
Do you know what a star you're gonna be?
You go out there and play it like you know it or I'm gonna kill you.
You get that damn kid out there.
Those punks are tearing my place apart!
No, wait, I'm not sending my sister's kid out there.
The hell you're not!
They're paying to see him, that's why they're tearing the place apart!
They're gonna see him!
They're gonna see him!
- Get him out there! - It's your job!
It's your responsibility to quiet him down!
I said get out of here!
Quiet him down!
Don't let that bother you.
Don't let that fool you.
- You see this? - Yeah.
Okay, five minutes.
Five minutes, right?
Five minutes, they're gonna be good and hot.
You know what you're gonna do?
You're gonna go out there and your music's just gonna cool them right out.
You just believe me.
Don't do that to your hair, let me do that to my hair.
Don't do that to your hair.
Do it, baby.
Do it, man.
I'll kill you.
What's he doing? He's crazy!
Hello, hello, hello.
Officer, listen.
There's a riot down here.
It's the Gomorrah Club riot.
Officer, yes.
I'm reporting a riot.
And, like, you know, I want you...
Well, one sec...
Yeah, this riot started in the streets.
Yeah, like, get down here.
There's a riot going on.
My star's being killed.
Get down here. Get those people down here.
You hear me, officer? I gotta hang up.
Can you hear this? Listen to this!
Did you hear that? Now, get down here!
That's YOUR future.
This is White Star talking to you.
White Star, mister.
Who bought it tonight?
You made me a great star night.
White Star. Moody MUdinsky!
How do you like that?
Who bought it tonight?
White Star!
Moody Mudinsky!
What is this shit?
The second coming?
You fucking hump.
Hey. Why you let him waste my life?
I told you this wasn't the right place to flock
Paul my film. I'm loving it.
Buck you.
Just stay out there as long as you can.
Take as much as you can. Come on.
Just stay out there.
You're crazy, man.
Hey, listen to me.
You don't even know how crazy.
Crazy, man. What's wrong with you?
Just stay hanging there, Moody!
Hey, get away from there, man.
Get away from there.
The mother fucker pulled the fight.
Hey. Hey. The mother fucker called the fight.
Change the cassette.
I'm gonna tell you something.
You know, this is White Star.
This is the future.
What do you know about music?
You thugs.
Come on!
How do you like that?
What do you know about music?
This is White Star.
This is the future.
You thugs.
Come on! That's it!
Get him out of here!
Get him out of here!
Let's go! Come on!
Let's go!
That was a short concert.
Come on. Don't worry.
I'm sure Stravinsky was booed to start with.
I can understand that.
Yes, I'm quite sure about Rachmaninoff.
Yes, I even think Beethoven.
If you carry on like this, you're bound to have a great future.
Frank! Frank!
Wait a second here.
Give me the keys, Frank.
I don't like the fucking beds in this precinct.
Hey, keep it back to the wall. Listen to me.
Did anybody see you?
No, and they're not gonna.
You ain't finished, mister. We just started.
Don't panic on me. Let's move it out.
The publicity's out front. You see what I mean?
Out front there.
That door's locked. The door's locked.
You gotta go out the entrance.
You gotta go out the front. The door's locked.
Come on. Keep it going.
Just move it now. Move it.
You have the evidence, Josh.
Move it.
It's all in the graveyard.
Remember what Winston Churchill said. It's gonna be locked.
It's gonna be hot.
And there's gonna be something down.
Take a rest.
- It's gonna be... - Get us out of here.
Come on. Open this door.
My son's dying in here.
Get me out of here.
Get me out. Get out, out, out.
- Get in the car. Get in the car. - Okay.
Knight in shining armor.
It's a knight thing.
Stop it.
Where do you think you're going?
Get in. Get in.
Get everyone in there. All right.
Get him over, man.
Where's your next gig? Because we want to be there!
We want to be in the city, man!
Thanks for making me a star, gentlemen!
9.42 in the city.
54 degrees or 12 Celsius downtown right now.
I'm Harry Halibut on heavy radio.
Radio 66 in the city.
Big news last night.
There was a riot at the Gomorrah Club.
During the first appearance of Moody.
150 Berlin policemen and one punker are in the hospital this morning.
Believe it or not, in a riot that wiped out five city blocks.
There's some kind of protest movement
by some citizen group this morning
to close down the Gomorrah Club for good this time.
They can't do that, can they?
And I received an anonymous letter this morning that's really negative,
predicting no future for Moody.
I can't understand why anybody would write a letter like this.
From what I've heard about Moody, he seems like a nice guy, I like him.
And apparently, Eurosound does too.
Because we have unconfirmed rumors this morning
that Eurosound is interested in a possible recording contract with Moody.
