أول 200 سطر.

12th of March 1999 Czech Republic had entered NATO

In less than two weeks after, the planes of NATO comenced the bombing of

Yugoslavia without the mandate of the UN.

It was on 24th of March 1999.

Czech Television presents

Stolen Kosovo

It was 26th of March 1999.

Our neughbours came to us and

unforunately they met here my son

and said: Bob, come with us to work to Cerna Hora.

Here in the forrest of Rugova they were

stopped by KLA and arrested.

They were asked where are they going.

They said they are going to work in

Cerna Hora and KLA said: You will work for us.

Because our Bob spoke fluent Albanian,

they did not noticed he is a Serb.

Next day came to them one of our

neighbours and told them they have a Serb among them.

They took my son away, nobody knows where

and I do not know what happened to him...

Kosovo and Metohia today...

the world call's it Kosovo for short.

South-Serbian provinces, ocupied by NATO since 1999,

and then under the UN mandate.

Record uneployment, high criminality

and rest of the Serbian population surviving in ghettos.

Kosovo's Albanians dream of their independent state.

March 1999

Air bombardment of Serbia lasted 78 days.

over 1,000 tomahawk cruise missiles were used.

Damage is estimated at hundreds of billions US dollars.

Serbians were being punished for the regime of Slobodan Milosevich

which supported Serbs in Chorvatia and Bosnia...

and in the end fought the Albanian separatists in Kosovo

in the framework of this campaign, a new Orwellian term was created

humanitarian bombing.

Here for example, is dying the

night shift of technicians of Serbian TV.

When in 1913 Otoman Empire left southern Serbia

it left behind a colorful ethnic mixture.

Every Serbian uprising, and there were many

in 500 years of Turkish occupation,

was followed by mass killings and exodus of Serbs to the north.

Turks then gave away their property to muslim newcomers.

Mostly to the Albanians.

but still the Serbs made more than 50 percent of population.

With the masacre of the Serbs begun WW1.

Austro-Hungarian Empire had imperial

interests in the Balkans,

and independent Serbia was in the way.

2.5 million of lost Serbian lives...

was the war cost at the begining of the 20th century.

Serbian army retreated, but never surrendered.

They belonged to the victors and our allies.

Albanian separatists were the enemies of royal Yugoslavia

it's existence prevented their teritorial aspiration

for the ethnicly cleansed Greater Albania.

They wanted to anex to Albania Kosovo and Metochii, part of Macedonia, part of

Cerna Hora, another part of Serbia and northern Greece.

A bizzare plan when you consider that ethnic

Albanians were less than half the population in all these territories.

Spring 1941...

Yugoslavia is attacked by Hitler

In Chorvatia and Bosnia begins the

elimination of Serbs, comparable to Holocaust.

who wants to survive runs to the forrest to join partisans.

Second World War will cost the Serbs almost 2,000,000 lives.

Southern Serbia is occupied by Italy.

Under their patronage the Albanian nacionalists proclaim the Greater Albania.

Also in Kosovo begins the ethnic cleansing.

Serbians are being murdered, their property confiscated.

To kill a Serb is for an Albanian chauvinist a heroic act.

70,000 Serbian families had to leave Kosovo in a panic.

The resistance to the Nazi occupation

in all of Yugoslavia was lead, apart from the nacionalist movement,

mostly by the communists.

The victory of the Tito's partisans

at the end of the war was not a victory for Kosovo's Serbs

Marshal Tito by the decree forbids the

return of tens of thousands of Serbs back home to Kosovo

their homes and land gradually gives to

the Albanian poor.

My grandfather was under communists an ordinary citizen,

our family had here 50 hectares of land.

When they were buying grains, they

ordered my grandfather to supply two railcars. Grandfather gave two railcars.

Then they ordered him to give another two. He could not.

They ordered us from our house, it was

the biggest, we had 500 sheep and 100 cows

pigs and so, it was a complete farm.

The communists confiscated it all.

They forced us to the neighboring village Korysa, there we lived several years.

Grandfather was imprisoned in Nisa, he got five years, he was there two and a half.

He was beaten, pulled by the mustache,....why?

Because we had too much land, too much

property, they called him a kulak.

Albanian families are leaving poverty at home and enter Yugoslavia.

They are given the property of the Serbs to which Tito refused permission to return.

All under the slogans of brotherhood and unity of the nation.

I grew up in Kosovo in Dona Dubnica near Podujevo,

it's a small town, where lived Serbs and Albanians, it used to be purely Serbian.

Our neighbour came directly from Albania

and regional branch of the Ministry of Interior bought him property as a kind of aid.

They left Albania as emigrants. They were very poor.

Our family was helping them with food, clothes...

and other necessities.

After the war the whole Yugoslavia is changing.

From agriculture it is becoming industrialized.

Tito's communists are guarding the equality between nations and minorities.

Any expression of nacionalism is harshly punished.

Even to criticize anti-serbian policies is viewed as an expression of nacionalism.

Kosovo's Albanians are gaining unheard of privileges

their lives are much richer culturally and materially than in their homeland.

they have their own schools, universities, radio...

later their own television.

Albanian families also have many more children

and demography of Kosovo begins to radically change.

The end of the 70's brings economic crisis to Yugoslavia.

It hits the Albanian minority the most...

lack of education and knowledge of other languages

prevents them from looking for work elsewhere

and there in no work in Kosovo.

For Albanian families with many children..

there is not enough housing.

The price of land escalates to unreal heights.

In the mean time, the relations worsen, mostly in the 80's.

Albanian neighbour, who lived next to us

began to attack us with his wife.

That we should go to Serbia, because all of Kosovo and metohia is Albania.

It was in somewhere the 80's.

Here was 200 Serbian households. Now there is only 5.

They all run away from terror, from persecution.

I live on property estimated at 2 billions.

Half an hour ago came one Albanian

and offered me for all of it, cattle and horses included, only 400 million!

How could I sell? Where would I go?

They persecute me, the Albanians, I don't know how long I can take it.

To get to the property, Albanian criminals killed Mrs. Milicic's husband and then her son.

Documentary film about her life was not

allowed to be shown in Yugoslavia at the time.

Supposedly not to obstruct the brotherly relations of nations.

Serbian historical buildings were attacked.

The witnesses of thousand year presence of Serbs in Kosovo

not even Serbian cemeteries were spared.

In time of the occupation we were robbed four times.

We saved only our lives.

Then we returned, repaired our homes, started to live here again.

Four years ago, we had to leave again.

Our houses were destroyed, windows doors burned,

They took everything.

See, they burned my house, stole the bricks from the cellar,

broke the walls, stole the doors, the top house burned.

When I returned, everything was gone. I reported it to the police.

They came from the ministry of Interior to see it and they never did anything about it.

This month, on the 11th they set fire to my home.

I reported it to the police again.

They came again to take pictures, but never began the investigation.

We get no help from the authorities.

If they come again to burn and steal,

it make no sense to report it any more.

The constitution by Tito, from the year 1974 meant

in Kosovo absolute power of Albanian administration.

Serbs and other ethnic groups began to revolt.

Their leaders are arrested.

The protest marches to parliament bring no improvements.

We get no help neither from local or regional government.

Investigators come, they drink and eat everything...

I will say it straight: We will not be able to survive in Kosovo.

Serbs are organizing defence...

but the majority leaves for peaceful north.

When the Yugoslavia attempts to restore law and order in the south...

it runs into organised resistance, as if the law and order was

oppresing the Albanians

Red flags with five pointed star, Albanian eagle and symbols of islam

a mixture of communist agitation, religion and nationalism.

There can be no talk about the fight for the citizen's rights.

Despite all this the Kosovo's police goes almost exclusively only after Kosovo's Serbs.

From what happened next the anti-serbian propaganda made

extraordinary happening.

New chief of Serbian communists Milochevich comes to Kosovo

Serbs made another protest.

One of the protesters made it all the way to the new secretary and presents

the witness report about who ordered Kosovo police to beat Serbs.

Here nobody is allowed to beat you.

These words will be later interpreted as a example of great Serbian chauvinism.

The constitution from 1974 is abolished

and in Kosovo is restored direct influence of Serbian state power.

All present rights of Albanian minority remained

but the majority of Albanians protest by shutting themselves in their community

and creates paralel structures

Albanian youth often demostrates

the separatistic movement is supported from communist Albania

and Albanian emigration in the World.

In the early 90's the Albanian separatist demostrations take the form

of the democratic revolutions in the ex-communist countries.

Where the citizen's rights the goal?

Or the ethnically clean republic of Kosovo.

At this time the book "Through Terrorism to Independence" is published.

By now the movement in Kosovo is run by KLA.
