Death Walker - Third Season

A family member had contacted me and informed me

of an aggressive haunting that was reeking havoc

on a family they knew living inside an old farmhouse

in Cattaraugus County, New York.

The owner of the property, a woman named Danielle,

has been experiencing routine nightmares

and having brushes with a supernatural force

inside her home during the night, and even during the daytime.

After frequent paranormal attacks,

Danielle decided to conduct some research on her own home

to see if she can find any underlying negative events

that can be tied to the property that could perhaps reveal to her

why her home is so active with paranormal activity.

What she found was that a man that was known

to be a paratrooper for the US army

once lived, and died, inside the house

some time in the 1980s.

Danielle asked the locals in the community

if they knew of this paratrooper man.

Many informed her that this individual was in fact a good man.

There was no documentation of any negativity surrounding him.

This convinced Danielle that someone or something else entirely

was haunting her family and their property.

Throughout my years of investigating haunted locations,

I've found that ghosts generally haunt a location

for specific reasons.

These could range from unsolved murders,

lack of proper funerals, or even forced suicides.

My first assumption is that this spirit

could be specifically demanding something of Danielle.

I also worried that this entity may not be the spirit

of a once living person,

but perhaps something inhuman or of an unknown origin,

that has now managed to find its way into Danielle's home.

Typically this happens when the spirit of an individual

who either died on or near the grounds of the property,

is drawn to a living person in the household,

or has followed them home.

I was told that this entity has also been lashing out

at the man of the house,

especially when he began renovating the upstairs area of the house.

I've realised that increased paranormal activity

is usually linked to renovations taking place within a home.

I want to try my best within the time frame that I have

to investigate Danielle's entire property,

to see if I can document and make contact

with whatever supernatural energy

is inhabiting her property,

find out why it's intentionally lashing out at Danielle,

and even invading her children's dreams.

I've requested help from Mason Winfeild,

an author and paranormal researcher,

to examine the land surrounding the area of this property,

and see if he can find any incidents

that involve a gruesome event that can shed light

as to why this property is experiencing

such a negative haunting.

In order to cover more ground,

I've requested help from my good friend Daniel Klaes,

who's a paranormal investigator and owner of the Hinsdale House.

Joining Daniel is Melody Knapp,

who's also a seasoned paranormal investigator,

and has been investigating the unexplained for a decade.

Together, they'll help me by monitoring the cameras

that have been placed all around the house

in the areas where anomalies and other paranormal activity

are witnessed the most.

While they watch the monitors around the clock,

I'll investigate and attempt to make physical and mental contact

with this entity to better understand what or who it is,

and find out if it means to inflict harm

by possessing one of the family members.

It mainly started when there was some heavy equipment

on the property, and we started excavating

some of the property to actually put up new pastures.

We were trying to level out some brush

and a couple of small trees.

And that's when everything started kind of going in a direction

that I never thought it would.

And ever since then, when stuff was disturbed,

I started having nightmares, vivid dreams.

My children started having vivid drams.

We see a gentleman, a very nice dressed gentleman.

From there, we've had knives fly out of the butcher block.

We have doors open. You can hear music.

You can hear people going up and down stairs.

And it will quiet down,

and then it will get really bad again.

I believe that it is an old property owner that is here.

I believe that something may have happened here

and that he is not willing to let anybody ever find out.

I have done tons of research about this house.

I have gone to historians, local, afar.

Months of internet research.

And it all dies at the same point.

Whatever that is in this house,

or follows us around, or whatever it may be,

whether a previous person, or an entity

that was not of this world, or whatever it is,

they become like a leech, like they drain you.

You get very tired very fast. You can get lightheaded.

They're exhausting when they decide to make their presence known.

What I would like to see, or understand, or know,

is who is here.

What does it want? What does he want?

Why are you so angry? Why are you so secretive?

Why are you coming after me?

Why are you coming after my daughter?

You know, why do you not like Matt? Like what happened?

Well, for one thing the land around us was never glaciated.

The glaciers did not hit this part of Western New York.

I mean the glaciers pulled off maybe 10,000 years ago,

and it's possible that there was human occupancy earlier than that,

because we weren't glaciated up here.

But in my assessment of this exact site,

I've gotta tell you it's one of the more mysterious

I've encountered. You know, usually when I start

to study a site, there's some pattern

that makes sense to me.

Cattaraugus County, it's got tons of wonderful mysterious folklore.

Giant skeleton reports from various places in the county.

You'd be getting a huge ancient monument complex.

You'd be getting all kinds of ghost stories.

We're in a zone of UFO activity that's called the Niagara Corridor.

I've got a top 10 list of crypto critters.

I mean, it's just a world of folklore around here.

And then all of a sudden, you come to this spot

and nobody wants to talk about it.

Folklore tends to have these zones where a lot of stuff clusters.

And we're definitely in one of those legendary zones.

They say there are things in these woods that nobody knows about.

And when I inquired a little further,

I think they were referring perhaps to ancient monuments,

ruins, stone circles, mounds.

I recruited one of Western New York's top geomancers.

A feng shui expert. Her name is Linda Ellison.

And these are some of the observations Linda made

about the site, based on feng shui.

She believes that there could be what she calls predecessor energy

at the site, which means maybe earlier occupants,

something going on with them, that could be manifesting now.

Ms Ellison noted that there's 100 foot deep well

somewhere near the property.

And we are very high up here.

You probably would have to dig down that far.

But still, that's, in feng shui terms,

that's a deep sense of mystery.

And she speculated that the house

may be located on something she referred to as a void line.

And when I look at this site from up above, I notice that this house

is on a virtual straight line between a couple of cemeteries.

And they've very close.

There's no ruling out anything that could have existed here.

It doesn't give us a right to conjecture that something did,

but you can't rule it out.

And I will tell you that not far below us

is the Valley of the Cattaraugus creek.

When I'm informed of a situation of psychic unrest,

and I can't finger a cause in the architecture,

then I start to wonder, is this something connected to people?

Does somebody have an enemy?

When we started cleaning up the ballroom here

so we can move a few more things in here,

so we had more room to work out there.

And as I was working in the doorway by the stairs,

I had... almost like I was being watched,

almost like there was a hand sat on my shoulder.

And I turned around and there was nobody there, nothing was there.

So I turned back around, picked up a broom

and started moving some more debris around,

and blinked open my eyes again and there was a face

within, had to be within inches of mine.

And within a flash of a millisecond, it was gone.

Ever since that, this ballroom here's

always given me an eerie feeling.

I don't like coming up here.

Whatever it is that is up here does not like me being up here.

I've seen figures in the middle of the day

that should not have been there.

I've heard things back there.

I've felt things back there that just... it's not normal.

I grew up in the woods and that's not something

that you see in an everyday piece of property.

Right now, I absolutely do not like it.

My chest is real tight. I can feel something watching me.

I can feel something wanting me out of here.

I don't know what it is.

I don't know if it's a new guy...

..the same guy, multiple things.
