Death Walker - Second Season

'Mineral Wells, Texas, located about an hour west of Fort Worth,

was once a booming Mecca of tourism.

In the late 1800s to early 1900s,

the town found its fame in mineral-filled spring water.

Located on North-East 1st Street in Mineral Wells

sits a location called the Haunted Hill House.

This infamous house is located only one block away

from the vacant Baker Hotel,

commonly regarded as one of Texas's most haunted hotels.

After researching the grim elements of the Hill House's past,

it revealed the legends and events passed down through generations

by word of mouth.

The one thing that intrigued me most about this property

was the vast amounts of eye-witness accounts

relating extreme paranormal activity occurring in this house.

In order for me to fully understand how this property achieved it status

as being haunted, I realised I had to investigate

and experience this house for myself.

Here's what I know - the Hill House was originally built in 1892

by Fanny Yeager.

Fanny would die in the home in 1924.

The Yeager family would eventually sell the home, in the mid-1930s.

The Baker Hotel opened its doors on 22nd November, 1929.

Wealthy visitors came from far and wide for the healing waters

from the mineral wells, and stayed at the Baker Hotel.

The Hill House would have a direct link with the Baker Hotel -

it served as a brothel, supplying working girls and bootlegged items.

I was told that several people had died in and around the Hill House

while the Baker Hotel was in operation.

When the Baker Hotel closed its doors in 1972,

the Hill House changed hands frequently

due to owners discovering how intense the haunting is.

I was told a family that lived in the house in the '90s

allegedly practised occult activities,

and potentially conjured an inhuman entity

that still resides in the upstairs area.

2018. Katherine and Sonny Estes would acquire the home.

They wanted to preserve the history and explore the unknown.

The Hill House is reported to be inhabited by nine spirits,

and that's not including the spirits that died within the Baker Hotel

and migrated to and from the Hill House.

Over the next three years, a lot of people,

even several paranormal-investigative shows,

have visited the Hill House and had profound experiences

such as becoming ill upon entering the grounds,

frequently hearing disembodied voices,

unexplainable doors slamming.

Light anomalies and orbs are seen throughout the house,

and even shadow figures.

Items are also known to move by themselves

and have been thrown at people.

Katherine and Sonny believe that

there is an extremely strong demonic presence,

and inform me that hundreds of people have left the premises

with scratches or bite marks sustained

during an investigative tour of the house.

I will investigate for two straight days,

and allow this aggressive, inhuman entity to attack me

so I can document physical interaction from beyond,

but also find out why they keep attacking the living

inside the haunted Hill House.'

A lot of people came here for treatment of the healing waters.

We read some history books,

and discovered many tragedies in the house.

We know that, after the brothel, a family took over the house,

and the family was into Black Cajun Bayou voodoo.

We know that the girls of that family played with Ouija boards

and summoned evil entities in this home.

We believe that this is what's attacking people.

It started scaring us, what was going on -

me being injured in some of the rooms, life-threatening injuries.

They were biting, leaving holes, scars.

This is our poker room. We have the Scratcher Man here,

his name is Willie, he was one of the founding members.

Most of the scratches come in this room.

We've watched scratches form right up their arms.

This was sealed up in 1960.

I spoke with the family that lived here.

What we've discovered through historical research,

also working with psychics and spirits,

is that, in 1955, there was a murder-suicide.

People hear scratching in here.

This is our Axe Room.

This is the axe here. It was thrown at a woman that rented this house.

It almost hit her mother in the head, and it stabbed into the couch.

I was attacked in this room. I woke up with my shirt tied in a knot,

choking me.

Another lady was here, doing some research,

and she watched a hand come up out of the bed.

She wasn't sleeping, just laying down, it was about five o'clock.

It clawed up her side.

Her team ran in here and witnessed the welts forming on her side.

This room seems peaceful,

everyone's like, "I want to stay in this room."

It's very deceiving.

This room waits till you get tired, and the spirits will tell you,

"Why don't you go to sleep?" They're trying to get you to go to sleep

so they can get you, so they can attack you.

It is strange, what you said is so exact though.

It's deceiving in this room. You walk in, you're like, "It feels calm."

It's just different in here.

Everyone says, "I'm staying in THIS room." This is the worst room.

The possessions are in this room. Yeah.

And upstairs.

We communicated with Jacob.

He was a little boy that was found hung outside in the tree.

He told us that the family that lived here

from the mid-'90s to 2010,

that they brought in seven negative energies in this room.

But he didn't call them "negative energies", he called them "demons".

We're in Toby's Room now.

One day, we walked in, and he said, "My name is Toby, I'm a demon."

I went to the corner,

and I started whipping him, saying, "I know you're here."

I had never messed with anything like that before.

A couple days later, we were here, and I felt like somebody - bam! -

hit me in the back of my head.

I felt the hit, I felt the pressure go to the top of my head,

my head started thumping, and I had a partial concussion for four days.

I've seen many scratches, we've heard many growls,

running around the stairs.

Two people have been bitten up here

during my time being up here with them.

If he's going to be here by himself tonight

and he does the right, wrong thing, he'll probably get scratched.

I don't know about bit, but yeah,

scratches are a regular occurrence around here.

Did you close that? Yeah.

What are you doing? I just feel like

something's always following me.

I know, right? Then it feels like it's coming up on your spine,

trying to attach itself or channel through you.

That's the best way I can describe that.

Doing this for so long, I've had that happen a couple of times,

where it feels like energy, it enters the spine of your body,

and that's how they connect with you, cos that's your nervous system.

Everything runs through your body, it's the connection of the spine.

It feels like - Justin even said - it feels like somebody is following us.

You feel like fingertips and hands going into your back. It's weird!

It's weird at times.

I'm shaking it off and pushing it back.

It's pretty much why I'm closing all the doors behind me.

It's just irritating. Yeah.

You're like, "Get out."

We're supposed to be like, "Come in," not, "Get out," and close your door.

It's what we asked for, right? Yeah.

I mean, we're asking for it, but again... Huh?

Politely.

I mean, is there any right way to do it - politely, negatively?

I just... It's like how you least expect it.

You can knock this off the chair, if you want.

So, I'm looking for that aggressive spirit,

the one that can reach out, try to affect the skin on my body.

Can I see you try to do something to my hand?

If we can see it appearing right now on my body...

..it would be amazing.

We have cameras right here, we'll record whatever you affect my skin,

affect my body.

Have it happen in real time right now, I won't move.

We can show the world that.

Everybody that's been talking about getting bitten, scratched,

having all these things happen to them,

we can show the world your power if you just allow us.

Just something really simple on my hand, right there.

This whole area does not feel right.

All night, I've been seeing someone standing in that doorway,

a transparent figure in the shadow.

I can't make it out. It moves the other way, it's hiding.

I want to see it happening right in the moment,

I want to watch it as it forms on my hand

or somewhere where it's simple for us to see it, that's what I want.

I want to document it as it's happening.
