Man: We should be shooting in about 20 minutes.

Miss E: The Braxtons are back, guys.

Miss E: What's new, pussycat?

Toni: Traci is like, 100% looking down, cracking up.

When Traci got diagnosed, it didn't seem real at all.

It still doesn't.

She said "Mommy, I have cancer."

I wasn't strong enough to watch Traci take her last breath.

I can't lose this weight 'cause I just feel,

just, I just gotta eat all my emotions.

The sun comes up before I go to bed every night for two years.

How are you feeling about the show coming back?

I'm a little leery.

Ever since everything happened with Traci,

I would have thought that maybe it would have

brought everybody closer.

But that's not what happened here.

We were all in the living room

with the hospice doctor and the nurse,

that's when I found out.

At the time, you and Traci were, kind of at odds though.

That's something that I still struggle with,

because I don't understand why I was the last to know.

As a man, I'm trying to figure things out myself.

Every time Kevin Jr. is contacting a family member,

it's an emergency.

But we wanna make it clear to him

that we're here for him to lean on

whenever he needs to talk to us.

Are we gonna hear wedding bells any time soon?

Y'all, how long y'all been together?

-Nine years. -No way.

Introducing Cedric the Entertainer!

It's the last week before

our big premier of "Love & Laughter,"

and I'm excited 'cause I'm on stage with Cedric.

But my nerves have been all over the place,

thinking about my health issues.

If I have a heart attack, I won't survive.

And I can't even handle that feeling.

It's around the corner now.

I'm trying hard not to let my past health scare

get into my head, and I'm so anxious,

'cause I'm not doing great.

You just don't know when it's gonna happen.Man: Exactly.

This is my career, this is everything I love,

and I'm not ready to retire.

At the end of the day, I'll stop the entire show.

Man: Quiet on set, all cellphones off.

Man #2: Check one, two, one, two.

Woman: Once that is done,

we are going to start from the top of the show.

And we're ready.

Everybody get to their places.

Places, please, places for top of show.

Man: One, two.

Toni: It's the day before the "Love & Laughter" residency

will be premiering at the Cosmopolitan

in my favorite place, Las Vegas.

It's a big stage show, 90 minutes long,

and the show will be running for 20 weeks.

Ooh, butterflies.

Man #3: Melissa, let me know when you're ready.

Woman: Okay, folks, if everybody can be quiet on stage,

because we are going to run a cue.

Toni: Being able to sing and dance is so physically

and mentally demanding.

I just recently recovered from bronchitis

and my doctors cleared me, that's great,

but I keep losing my breath with the heart situation.

So keep telling myself pace it,

pace it, singing and dancing, singing and dancing.

Oh, it's so wonderful to be here, guys.

"Love & Laughter."

You guys having a good time? -Yeah!

Yeah? Me too.

First of all, guys, I wanna thank you for my job.

I wanna thank you for putting me on the stage.

The real test will be if I can get through the whole show

without hitting a wall.

I know how Janet and Brittany

and all those have done it for years.

I commend them, wow, it's really, really tough.

Man: Okay, right, so grand piano, make sure it's on grand.

That's the very first sound. Here.

It's not right.

Low grand three, that's not what we had yesterday.

Grand right there, grand.

Look ... upright, electric, clav, boom, boom,

but we're going grand.

We've only had three days to practice in the space

that we'll be performing.

Everything else was at the rehearsal space in LA.

There's a lot of static in my ears, guys, like a lot.

It's a lot of static, Joseph.

When I take the Vegas stage for the first time in 15 years,

I need the world to know that Toni Braxton is back

and better than ever.

Okay, let's try one more time.

Here we go.

Trina: Hi, guys.

We're doing something a little different tonight.

It's Monday, and it's time for us to cook.

Von and I have been doing cooking videos on social media

for about a year now.

Tonight we're going to make lobster mashed potatoes,

chuck roast steak, and baby spinach.

Since I made a cameo appearance on

Mommy and Tamar's cooking show,

I had to invite Mommy to be a guest on our show too, you know?

I'm not gonna be outdone.

Mom, you can start on the potatoes.

Oh, okay, let me wash my hands here.

Yes, that's what we do here.

But, of course, we do things just a little differently.

Put some butter in there.Put the butter in.

Yeah, don't be scared ... not all of it now.

You trying to give us cholesterol problems?

Yeah, you already got it. Yes, do it all.

Both: S-T-O-P, stop.

Don't be scared of the pepper, you ain't buying it.

Put it in there.

Look, I'm tired of you bossing me.

Girl, you oughta take a seat.

My kitchen, my way.

Boom.

Mmm, mmm.

Incredible.

Okay, we'll end now.Good job, guys.

Thanks, Mommy.Food was incredible.

So I'm trying to see Tone-Tone for her first show.

Look at God.

I'm-a surprise her.She would love that.

Tamar's gonna be there.Oh, really?

Yes, ma'am.

Trina: Tamar and I are planning to attend

Toni's premiere night in Vegas.

Toni's a bit nervous for the entire family to be there,

so Mommy and Towanda decided to wait for the second show.

But, I can't wait to see Toni Braxton on stage again,

so I'm going to both.

How's things going with you and your counseling

and, no offense, your drinking and your eating?

Because you were eating and drinking your feelings.

My feelings. Yes, ma'am, and that's a true thing.

You know, and that bothered me too.

Ever since I've been to counseling,

it's changed dramatically.Thank God.

I don't even cook at 2:00 in the morning anymore.

I can sleep at night now.

Oh, Trina,

that's the best news I've heard in I don't know when.

I released myself.

I was in a dark place.

To get to this point,

I had to realize it's okay to be in grief, it's okay to grieve.

But Traci would want me to still live my best life.

I wanna be around for my sons.

I wanna be around for my grandbabies.

I wanna be around for my family.

I wanna be around for my husband.

There's so much more I wanna accomplish.

There's so much more I wanna do.

And I don't want you to lose another child.

I don't wanna lose another child either.

I don't wanna lose anybody.

You have to take care of what God has given,

'cause you just don't know what tomorrow brings.

Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am.

Look at God.

I'm going home.

Oh, I'm so proud of you. It was a ...

I'm gonna give you this one.

Stinking apron.

It's not stinking, I just washed it.

Oh.

With the hairstyle ...

I have hair?

Trina says Traci and her were at faults with each other

before Traci passed away.

I want to actually go into that energy

and hear from her sister.

What's up Las Vegas?

My adrenaline is pumping.

It's a lot to be on stage for 90 minutes.

Once you lose a sibling,

the worst thought in the world is losing another one.

Hey, y'all, I'm here.

Hey, fam-a-lam. Hey, Ryan.

I'm appearing on my friend Ryan's radio show

to promote me and Trina's upcoming beauty line,

and me and Sean's podcast called "King Ladybug,"

and all of the amazing things that I'm doing.

So, how have things been?

Amazing, interesting, you know.

We've been doing "The Braxtons" is what it's called now.

We did this for Traci...Right.

...'cause she wanted us to tell her story.
