and opened my architectural practice there.

I had a project that kind of fell through.

Simultaneously, my best friend is a yacht chef

and she was working on a boat that needed a chef for a week.

One week turned into two years on that first boat.

Being a self-taught chef,

my whole career is based on like fake it till you make it.

And I remember like getting in trouble

for things that I had no idea.

They’re like, oh, well, you didn’t put the trash out.

I’m like, well, I didn’t,

I don’t know where to put the trash.
