I get a feeling it does not want you guys here.

They are the spirit hunters.

I feel something behind me.

They are who people call when they are tormented

by entities that circle back night after night,

entities bent on destroying the lives of the living.

Does this look like the night that you were murdered?

These spirits are often trapped,

repeating the same trauma over and over.

The mission of the spirit hunters is to help the living

The ghost loop.

the spirit hunters are in south jordan, utah,

where a ghost loop threatens wendy, her husband lee,

and their son, ty.

I was like, "lee, lee, do you see this?"

and he's like, "yeah."

I thought something was coming to kill me

or, like, death was upon us.

Wendy and her family moved to south jordan

to get away from their home in the mining town of copperton

where they experienced paranormal activity

like hearing voices and seeing shadow figures.

- What kind of mines? - Depends.

I mean, you got silver mines, you have copper mines.

This was the wild west. Like, they were not governed.

They did whatever the hell they wanted to do out here.

Despite wendy and lee's move from copperton,

it soon became clear that the activity followed them

and recently has gotten worse.

Out of the corner of your eye,

you can kind of see something move.

It could be in our bedroom, it could be --

wherever wendy is, is where they try to go to.

Wendy and lee have captured their own evidence

of what has been stalking them --

a white figure in the master bedroom

and thousands of orbs on their security cams on a clear night.

Based on what we've been briefed on,

I'm more anxious than usual to get to this one.

And it's unfortunate this family has to be going through

this terrible haunting.

But before they make any assumptions

about what they're dealing with,

sean and kris want hear wendy lee and ty's story.

Do you feel like a vibe, as if someone's watching you,

like they want to harm you?

Yes.

All day, every day, all night, every night.

So, and this has been going on for a couple years now.

Every night, we are attacked.

It'll start as if the house itself has a spine

and it's like cracking all along.

Not only can you hear it, it's like you feel it, too.

And it usually ends up right above the bedroom,

and then I personally will see like a reddish color.

It'll manifest itself, come at us and then disappear.

I can feel him touching me through my pillow,

you know, under the mattress.

It's like they're coming up under, and --

you feel violated or...?

Yeah, absolutely.

Do you see what any of these things look like

when they're hovering over you?

It's like I lose vision because it goes black

on my eyes, whether they're open or closed.

Wendy leads the team to her son ty's room,

where he has also been attacked.

I never have really, like. Had issues with

aggression up until I moved here, and my girlfriend and I

were up here one day, and we were arguing,

and something in my mind said,

"go grab the knife and slit your wrists.

And I absolutely did."

and I don't know what came over me that day, but...

So after that happened you kind of came out of it?

You were just like, "what did I just do?"

I literally came to, and I was like,

"did I just do that?"

like, I was not conscious.

Yeah, so you pretty much, like, blanked out.

Yeah, exactly.

Everything has just changed.

My life is totally different.

I'm totally different, and so is ty.

I am, like, literally exhausted.

Yeah.

These things can really break you down spiritually,

emotionally, and physically until they get what they want.

So this is the basement.

As sean and kris moved through the house,

the energy and presence of the spirit grows.

I literally just saw something kind of really unsettling.

I just saw something that actually had some sort of tail.

It's actually quite ironic that you say something about

a tail because one of the voices that we've heard from the house

is his name is asmodeus.

that's a demon's name.

Yes. That's a name that you

actually heard in this home?

Yep.

Asmodeus or "asmo-dee-us" in judeo-islamic lore

is sometimes referred to as the prince of demons,

and in christian mythology,

the demon that represents the deadly sin lust.

Many believe even speaking the demon's name

gives it power over the living.

You feel something weird happening?

What do you feel?

- Feel it in your chest? - Mnh-mnh.

- What? - Like you can't speak, or...?

I get a feeling it does not want

you guys here in the slightest.

What's going on?

It's that feeling in your head, as well.

It overwhelms your thoughts,

so, like, you can't think at all.

They won't let you speak.

My gosh.

Some believe that demons can deny the power of speech

if they feel what is about to be said

is threatening to them.

Sean pulls lee aside to get his perspective.

I specifically requested a one-on-one with ty

because talking to him off camera, he had a conversation,

him and I had a conversation, and it was about suicide.

I myself am a suicide survivor, and it's one of those things

that runs really, really, really, really true

to my soul and in my heart.

So I had to be the one because it takes one to know one.

We both been there.

I just don't want to be in the house.

It scares the **** out of me. Sorry my language.

No, it's okay, but, like, tell me about that.

What's scaring you so bad about this house?

The energy.

Like, I come here, and it just brings me down.

It literally drains my energy.

It's okay. Take a second. It's okay.

and I've been trying to get away from it,

and it just keeps following us.

Like, in your heart of hearts,

do you feel like this is why you attempted

at your own life?

Yes.

I think he wants my energy, I guess.

And my soul maybe.

Well, you know, we're going to bust our asses

harder than we ever have to try to figure this out.

You know, I've never been more personally

attached to a case.

I think a big part of this is going to be you

and your mom standing up and fighting back.

Absolutely.

When him and I started talking,

I have my date tattooed on my hand,

October 8th, the day that I did what I did,

and come to find out we share the same date.

His first attempt was on October 8th, as well.

Get over here, brother.

This has quite possibly been one of the most hardest things

I've ever had to do.

The team gathers for a debrief

before their investigation.

Whatever's here, its tactic is to divide them,

especially with her son, who she is very connected to.

It just breaks my heart knowing that he had to leave

and move out of this house, and he can't be here

with his mother to help her through all of this.

Now, she did say that at one moment she felt like

as if something was trying to protect her.

There's a lot of history around here with the army base.

It was one of the biggest in the country.

Camp kearns was a temporary army base

set up near south jordan in 1942

as a training base for the us air force.

Thousands of soldiers passed through its doors

on their way to war.

I'm wondering if maybe it's one of these soldiers.

Maybe there's some good spirits trying to protect the family.

In our prelim, we should see

if there's any soldiers here 'cause we need the help.

We need the help from the other side.

I have a feeling that whatever dark force is here

is hiding in the attic.
