Our secret weapon is our teamwork.

I'm gonna throw something in here that no-one's probably seen.

Everybody has a super-skill. This one's mine.

Of course, there will be an amazing host to lend a hand.

I'm Hamish.

I will be your host for the series.

And I am pumped. I'm so excited to be here.

I'm so excited to see what you guys do.

I'm excited because it's Lego. Yeah.

I loved Lego as a kid.

Now I'm a dad, so I'm back building a lot of Lego. I love it.

I love what this show's about

and I love the fact that we're gonna get to see you guys,

who can really build, build some incredible stuff.

Now, I'm the host but I'm not qualified to be the judge.

But the man standing next to me can.

I know a lot of you guys know who he is but I will introduce him anyway

just in case some people don't know who he is.

There are 14 Lego certified professional builders in the world.

There's only one in the Southern Hemisphere.

That one is standing next to me,

responsible for some of the greatest builds of all time.

I'm looking for creativity, for stories,

for your personality to come out in those Lego builds,

as well, of course, as your technical abilities.

Alright, now, look, it's obviously not just gonna be

a few weeks of playing with Lego.

At the end of this season,

one of the teams in here will be Australia's first Lego Masters.

You get a very snazzy Lego trophy. You also get $100,000 in cash.

It's amazing.

That's a lot of Lego you can buy.

We're uni students. I mean, I could pay for dinner tonight.

Really, all I'm thinking about is that 100 grand,

'cause I have been...

I've been taking bits and pieces from the vending machine.

I mean, ultimately, you're playing for 100 grand

but today you're also playing for something big

and it is coming through the door behind you.

This brick will keep you safe at an elimination.

Kind of like a cool idea that we've come up with just on this show

that no other shows do.

Kind of like an immunity brick. But it's the Golden Brick.

Now, I feel like you guys are probably just, like,

to complete this city.

and, of course, your technical skills.
