Let's see... Many events transpired last week.

Last week was a shocker.

A lot of stuff happened involving Ruka.

Let's digest them one by one.

He shared his dream of appearing in a Marvel movie.

At this point, when people hear you say,

"I want to appear in a Marvel movie," we don't know if you're serious.

Without challenges, we can't grow. We'll never achieve success that way.

It'll never be easy.

-They questioned how serious he is. -What I'd like to know is

why their feedback towards Ruka

-was so isolated to that moment. -That's true.

You said you wanted to become an admirable person,

so it makes me wonder why you put up with them treating you like a child.

If you don't like it, then I feel like

there are things you can do to change that dynamic.

I have a similar situation with my son,

and I'm not proud of it.

Lots of people have a similar level of life skills.

For real? He set out to make pasta carbonara

by cracking the egg into the pot where he was cooking the noodles.

He then proceeded to chop the broccoli with scissors and announce, "All done."

Cracking an egg into water that he knows he will eventually dump out

is very much like redecorating a house that you're moving out of the next day.

-How did he logically-- -It makes no sense.

Did he forget that he'd be moving out the next day?

Then, after that,

the horror of watching him eat tasteless pasta as if nothing was wrong.

I think that was a noble move on his part.

Even though he messed up the pasta, he wasn't going to let it go to waste.

He vowed to eat it all?

Who are you, the Virgin Mary?

-May I worship you? -She's the Virgin Mary incarnate.

That whole scene was on another level.

In the end, Ruka muttered, "Is it a failure if there is no flavor?"

-He sounded like a philosopher. -Yeah, for a moment there.

"We are not alive. We are given life by the powers that be."

It's cocky of us to expect a dish to have flavor.

-He's just so impressionable-- -Is that his strength?

He'll absorb each experience.

-With an open mind. -It's a blessing that he's in the house.

She got tired of waiting. This is his last chance with her.

If he doesn't make a move when they head to the beach

or to a dressy dinner or whatever,

-she's not going to wait around for him. -Unlikely.

We're out of eggs.

-They're all gone? -Yeah.

-Even the broccoli that I bought is gone. -Ruka used it.

He made pasta the other day

-and used it for that. -Wait...

-Ruka cooked something? -Yeah, for the first time.

What? And I missed it! I wish I could've tasted it.

He was just making dinner for himself.

Yeah. He has a hard time waking up in the mornings,

so he's been taking out the trash at night.

But I've noticed that when it comes to

expressing my own feelings to you, I tend to hold back a lot.

I want to open up to you,

but I think we have different opinions and I fear being shut down for them.

So there are a few things I can't share with you.

takes my concerns seriously. Their reactions are very impersonal.

They're like, "Don't worry about it," and that's it.
