To Fetch a Bike (Hämta en cykel)

TO FETCH A BIKE

- You don't have to hit me. - What?

Do you want some milk?

- Do you want any? - No.

Ugh, time to go wash in cold water. This building only has cold water.

I'll make some tea. After breakfast we'll have to get my bike.

- Aren't you going to get cleaned up? - No. It's too cold.

Are you upset about something?

I don't get it. What are you upset about?

I might get to take over this apartment from my brother.

He's going to get a more modern one on the south side. It'll be great.

One time when I was a kid...

my brother and I were sitting just like this...

watching a bunch of sparrows in the yard.

They were behind a chain-link fence.

My brother thought they looked scared...out of their wits.

He looked up towards the roof and saw a sparrowhawk.

All of a sudden, the sparrowhawk did a nosedive into the yard.

Right at the sparrows.

But the sparrowhawk didn't see the fence.

It just crashed into it.

Like...bang!

Looking at the sparrows just before it happened...they were paralyzed.

Only a couple flew away.

That sparrowhawk made them flap their wings like crazy.
