نخستین 200 خط.

The Israeli forces continued their attack

resulting in the death of seven young men who where working

in Beit Lahia, six of them from the same family.

President Abbas mourned the death of the young men

who died by Zionist enemy shells

and Aljihad movement issued a statement this morning

threatening to avenge these brutal attacks...

In 2005...

In the second uprising...

We are going to Beit Lahia to meet the enemy...

Israeli soldiers and officers with hands stained with blood.

They might be Shabak...

They might arrest us, assassinate us...

We were born under occupation.

So we were ready to do anything

in order to get our freedom.

Even this.

...and left in Iran

over 500 dead.

The five killed in the suicide bombing of a Tel Aviv restaurant

were buried this morning.

The "Fallen of El-Aksa" have claimed responsibility.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has said that the IDF will not rest.

Someone called,

there are people who want to meet with us.

As soon as we crossed the roadblock

our fears began to increase.

These people have blood on their hands and are dangerous.

We're a group of Israelis, so this has to be a trap.

I believe that everyone knows that we're Israelis.

Another two notice, it's been planned out.

We don't have any weapons, nothing at all.

I say to myself that I have

no idea how this will end.

We hereby declare the establishment

of the Jewish state in the Land of Israel, the State of Israel.

In the beginning of the journey...

My family's journey, or Palestinian people's journey...

The state of Israel is Palestinians' Nakba.

In 1948...

My family lived in a Palestinian village,

called Laqbeba,

my family lived there for generations...

In 1948 the Israeli Army occupied most of the villages,

all the people of the village fled including my family,

except my grandfather,

he refused to flee away.

Hence he died in his house.

My family moved to live in Dhaisha camp,

and they're still there.

The IDF spokesman reports that about 2:00 p.m. the forces of

Egypt and Syria opened attacks in the Sinai and the Golan.

As a result of Syrian air activity over the Golan

air defense sirens have been sounded throughout the country.

When I was ten years old,

my uncle, who was a fighter in PLO, was killed in Lebanon.

So I asked my mother a few questions,

such as "Why there isn't a Palestinian army?"

"Why we don't go back to our country?"

She said we're living under Israeli occupation

The Israeli Army and Israeli people...

They are ruling the Palestinian people.

Each time they demolished a house in Selwan

there was a police or army forces

to protect the bulldozer that will demolish the house.

When I was young I was not allowed to be there

because it's dangerous.

So we were watching from the roofs,

or from a balcony...

We were watching and feeling the pain.

There was a tremendous anger...

Since I was born I saw by myself

how the occupier destroys us, and kills us.

The first martyr I knew was Ibrahim Mansour.

A college student was visiting his parents in our neighborhood

And they stormed Tulkarem...

And they killed him at our doorsteps.

I cannot forget the blood I saw.

I loved the Palestinian revolutionary songs.

I used to lock myself in the room to listen to them.

I used to dream to become a fighter

in the Palestinian revolution

to wear the Army suit and the Kufiya...

The common weapon back then was the AK-47,

And I wanted to be part of the Armed struggle...

And I watched on the TV...

Also the horrific images...

Of Sabra and Shatila massacre that took place in

the Palestinians refugee camps in Lebanon.

Who did this to us, my mother?

I had tremendous sympathy with those people,

and I felt an urge to avenge.

I was willing to sacrifice my life for these ideas.

The army forced a curfew from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

every day, and whoever gets out in these house was arrested...

Or... was harmed.

I was two weeks to become 16 years old.

My brother Nasser was 14.

He went out from our house to my uncle's

which was 50 meter away...

When encountered army in his way he was afraid and escaped.

The soldiers followed him and shot him.

And of course he died.

I don't know how at the time...

I was able to endure the situation...

I felt as if the sky fell upon my head.

As soon as I got the chance I began throwing stones.

The soldiers in the patrol

might shoot at you...

But you can hide behind some kind of barrier...

Throwing stones, and you are masked...

Even if you're carrying a stone and he is carrying a gun.

You feel some king of balance.

Our aim was not to kill him,

but it was discharging our energy and big hatred

towards this entity which caused our pains.

I did not have any fear at all.

But the oppressor and occupier must be defied.

We were under a real volley of stone throwing,

Molotov cocktails and brick and such. They injured soldiers

from my battalion.

It was clear to me that the Army had to increase

the number of troops

in order to protect our civilians

We must make it clear to them where we are

and where they are so they won't dare do anything.

After a while it was not enough to throw stones only

or throwing Molotov...

So I needed to access weapons.

Me and another guy

decided to attack one or two Israeli

and take their weapons.

I did not have a detailed plan...

I might get killed or kill...

I was standing behind one of the two Israeli

and I stabbed him...

And become like you're watching a play.

The fight ended and we escaped.

After a day or two the army came and arrested us,

and I felt like going to the unknown...

I spent my military service as an IAF officer

in a command center.

Earphones over the ears like so, walkie-talkie,

sitting in front of a screen. At that time there were still

round analogue screens that looked like they had been

taken from the series The Time Tunnel.

In order to monitor and support flight operations

that included deployment of bombs.

The martyrs count increased,

every day more martyrs...

Children...

My cousin martyred, a 17 year old.

He was going out the mosque.

Another cousin, a 14 year old martyred, too.

A little child coming from school.

My sister's sister in law also martyred,

She was 15 years old.

One day my daughter came from school screaming...

A little girl was killed in their school.

She used to wake up screaming every day.

I was very concerned for my daughter.

I felt choked.

I held a tremendous grudge against them.

This is not right.

I started thinking "What is my role in life here".

So I decided to do a Suicide attack.

It is antagonizing and angering causes the feeling...

Simply the feeling of terror.

My situation was so complicated.

How am I going to abandon my daughter?

How to abandon my family, my mother?

How to abandon life?

But they did not leave us any other choice.

We were laterally living in a graveyard of living.

One day before the operation I decided...

To tell my daughter what I was going to do.

I said, "Dodo, my sweetheart,

I love you so much, and you know how much...

You are the most precious thing in my life,

and I don't want to abandon you...

But what is happening is very hard for us to accept.

We are dying...

Like guinea pigs...

And nobody cares about us.

I am going to do something so you can live.

I am going to wear a belt...

And blow myself up among Israelis."

She said, "What do you mean? Are you coming back?"

I said, "How can I come back?"

"No, I'm not coming back. I am going to die."

She said, "What do you mean? I'll never see you again?"

I said, "Yes, but you'll have to look up to the sky...

You'll find a star..."

I preferred to go out while she was asleep.

I looked and the army was everywhere.

And they arrested me.

She is 24, divorced and the mother of a four year girl from Tul Karem.

She was caught during this past week.

Shlomi Eldar interviewed her at the Kishon Prison.

What are the operations you did?
