from a man he'd never met

to come to a motel he'd never heard of

in a desert he'd never seen, but he came

because the message spoke of alien invaders .

The man he'd never met had disappeared .

The motel he'd never heard of seemed menacing ,

but the desert he'd never seen promised him an answer .
