and moving at an alarmingly high rate of speed.

And even more paranormal footage you have to see...

A haunted location

usually conjures images

of full-bodied entities

lurking around every corner,

waiting for the right time...

...to pounce.

But not every haunted building is the same.

Some are oozing with a more general energy

recorded across time,

trapped forever within the walls of the home.

But if you're in the right spot at the right time,

like one investigator in England...

September 2025. In Liverpool, England,

paranormal investigator Adam Booker

is exploring an abandoned, centuries old building

with a unique past.

We're here to find out today if it really does

or if this is all just rumors.

My name is Adam, and this is my video.

It's quite dark, eerie.

There's a smell of smoke where there has once been a fire.

Very decayed, paint peel everywhere.

It's called Holly Lodge.

It's an old boarding school for girls in Liverpool.

And I knew nobody had investigated the place

for a long time.

I knew that there was stories that the land

that the building was on was cursed.

So my name's Adam.

I've just come to see if there's anybody here

that would like to speak with me today?

The former Holly Lodge Girls' School

in Liverpool, England was built as a private home around 1830.

But in 1919, it was transformed into an orphanage

to house the children of those soldiers and sailors

killed in World War I.

In 1927, the orphanage was purchased to be used

as a girls' school.

Wandering around an abandoned building like this,

you really get a sense of its history.

You can just imagine the children studying at school

and even those who were confined here

when it was an orphanage.

Imagine them.

And in Adam's case...

They do seem hostile

and they do not seem to want

to speak to me.

...hear them.

What the was that?

I heard the voice come

from outside of the room I was in.

I had no idea if it was a person

or if it was paranormal at the time,

but it did trip me up a bit.

When you hear a disembodied scream in the distance, man,

that's just-- my sign

typically is to go the other distance,

because that's not necessarily the most welcoming,

especially when it's at that type of register

where it feels and sounds like that.

But rather than drive him away,

the unsettling moment instead...

...inspires Adam

to begin an EVP session.

I'm going to do an EVP, see if we can get any voices.

I feel like there's definitely some in here.

And only seconds in,

despite hearing nothing in the moment...

OK, if there's anyone in this building

that would like to speak with me,

...the unmistakable sound

of young voices.

I was shocked. I was creeped out.

But I'd never caught anything that good before.

So I was obviously excited as well.

That background ambient noise of children filling a room,

expectant, ready to learn,

those are sounds that we're all familiar with.

It makes sense to take that audio and say,

"This is what I think I'm hearing."

And as stunning as that capture

may have been for Adam...

...just moments later, more recorded EVPs.

This time,

a blood curdling scream.

No way.

It sounded like somebody has-- was in pain

or someone had been hurt.

The screams, it doesn't sound like play.

It doesn't sound like children in the distance.

It does sound like someone in anguish.

I would think it was from when the place was an orphanage,

more from when it was a school,

because there's a few orphanages that got closed down

because of abuse and stuff like that.

I've never heard anything like that.

So 100%, something like that could have happened,

which would cause a scream like that.

A lot of the times, places that became orphanages

didn't have enough funding to feed, clothe,

and protect these children.

So they ended up taking in more than they can

comfortably house, and it was a really stressful environment

for the children being raised there.

And it's enough for Adam

to reach a sweeping conclusion about the building.

I feel like there is a residual energy in there,

uh, something that plays on repeat.

An energy that he's just grateful to have captured.

Be very meticulous on your investigations,

because one day you'll do something

that maybe doesn't work every time,

but then it will work that one time,

and you'll capture something absolutely incredible,

like the screams.

in central Louisiana,

a woman named Kayla and her daughter Breanna

are by their pool, having waited until dark

to test out their brand new pool lights,

when Kayla, filming with her phone,

captures something truly mystifying.

Crossing behind the pool where Brianna is standing,

a figure, light and seemingly transparent,

which Kayla, who prefers to remain anonymous,

doesn't even notice

until she reviews the footage later.

My name is Kayla, and this is my video.

I sent it to my sister, and she's the one who noticed

what looked like a figure.

And it was only me and my daughter

at home at the time.

It looked kind of like a figure passing through my daughter.

And so we played it over and over,

but we really couldn't see anything else.

So we just freaked out a little because we weren't that sure

what it was.

We still really don't know what it was.

This is a very truly unique capture, to say the least,

for so many reasons.

Whatever is walking by this pool here,

it actually seems to me

like it almost goes into the pool.

And when it's crossing in front of that light,

you can see that whatever this thing is walking

is transparent to some degree.

The figure that walks around the pool

seems to be moving quite quickly

at a more rapid pace that you-- you see.
