And the director had complete creative control

and final cut.

- It's been all downhill since "In the Sand."

- 'Cause of that disaster, the studios labeled me

as an unviable commercial Hollywood director...

- Don't worry about it. Just keep at it, man.

But these are two movies made from the studios.

from the indie perspective...

You know, the struggle to make it as an actor,

director, producer, and so on,

to get that elusive Hollywood-movie break.

And that's why "Sunset Dreams" is such a unique story.

by Hollywood standards.
