And to India, and I got to meet like a true king.

I started my journey, as a college student.

Um, I had got really depressed.

I honestly had ended up having a dream

during one of the really hard nights of my life.

And in that dream, I was supposed to be a hairstylist.

And I had the name of my business,

which was Canvas.

Nobody understood it. Nobody was rocking with it.

My mama called me a dumb bitch, transparently.

I didn't care, because for me, what mattered more

than anything was, like, being on a path

that made me feel good.

And that was the start of Canvas Beauty.

I never knew I'd end up where I am now.

You know, starting in your kitchen,

you and your husband, to being

in a 50,000-square-foot warehouse

and building the next billion-dollar lifestyle brand.

A female is the perfect canvas.

She has the natural gift of beauty.

Her beauty can never be diminished, only enhanced.

And when she blossoms,

she can be whatever she wants to be.

Birmingham just feels so good

because I wanna be close to home right now.

Birmingham is right up the street,

and I like being near my baby and my husband,

especially right before a massive 48-hour live.

because one, they're part of my prayer group

that I always talk about to Stormi with.

And two, they're movers and shakers and the pulse

of this city when it comes to entrepreneurship.

I would want Stormi, you know, to experience

and just see what it's like to have that community,

and have that group of women to lean on.
