I'm Eli Roth.

I've spent my life telling horror stories.

But imagine if those stories were real,

and suddenly you found yourself stalked

and tormented by an evil spirit

and no one believes you.

I would honestly be surprised

if something were to happen while you were here.

A lot of activity seems to happen later

at night or early in the morning.

Stuff happens.

But I do honestly hope something does happen

so I know I'm still not crazy.

When I was younger, I grew up mostly in the same city.

Everybody knows everybody.

You go to school with the same people.

You know their parents. Their parents know each other.

the energy just seemed to have gone a little thicker.

The air, it was kind of hard to breathe.

It felt like somebody was just watching me

the whole time from the hallway or something,

and it was just very uneasy and unsettling.

The feeling that I got when I've seen it

was just complete fear.

I was terrified. I didn't know what to do.

Maybe it's waiting to do something bad to me.

It felt like something horrible was gonna happen.

I saw something weird on Friday.

I would feel a really bad, negative energy.

And then Mr. Frog

saw through the clearing the beautiful pond.

And Frog and Toad went to the pond

and found a big picnic.

It made me want to scream, cry, run.

You don't know what it wants.

You don't know if it wants to harm you.

You don't know if it wants to harm somebody in your family.

I believe the more that you talk about something,

the more it allows it to come in,

especially with talking about things that happened

in the building that it happened.

So I do believe that probably after today,

things will probably get more active.

I've always believed that there's a possibility

of something more than just us here,

but didn't know how wide that spectrum will go.

I would just try and talk to her,

see if anything had been happening at her house.

"Nothing's happened since she left."

This was because I invited the ghost

to sit down and be my friend.

So I was a little upset with myself

on what I had done and what I had said.

To take power away from an entity

is as simple as not giving them power.

So it's attached to me.

I decided that I had to do something

to fix what was going on.

I didn't know how but I wanted to figure out something.

It's hard to understand

and wrap your head around what's happening.

I don't even know how to talk to anyone about it.

I was very scared for the future.

Maybe like an unwanted friend,

I just have to stop paying attention.

All I could think is that I just...

I wanna get away from this. I want this energy to stop.

It could be a relief to be able to be normal.

Shiann and I hit it off pretty quickly.

We went on a few dates and it was pretty serious

from the start.

This is my place.

It's late and I've got work tomorrow.
