Le prime 200 righe.

You're going to be locked inside

a nightmarish former correctional facility.

There's vines growing over everything.

It looks like you've walked into an apocalypse.

What's going on?

You just always feel a tightness in your chest

and you always feel like you're being watched.

It wasn't moving! What?

It just, it just left. Wait, no, dude.

This was the last stop for many young offenders.

I 100% believe he's still in this property.

I actually just caught something on my camera.

He wants you out and they will make sure that you don't come back.

Dude, somebody's BLEEP following me!

My name is Dakota Laden.

I'm leading my sister and two best friends

on a road trip exploring the most haunted locations in America.

Oh my gosh!

Go, go, go, go, go. I'm freaked out.

Experimenting with fear and how it affects

our interaction with the paranormal.

Each night, we separate and sleep alone.

The catch is, only one of us knows where we're going.

Alex definitely surprised me with his last location,

taking us to Ashmore Estates, and I know that the team

is still a little bit shook up, but no need to fear

because I am back in the driver's seat, baby,

and leading us even deeper into the darkness.

We are actually headed to New York.

We are going to be spending the night

locked inside a deteriorating, nightmarish,

former correctional facility.

This facility actually had a very horrifying phase

as a juvenile detention centre.

After 100 years of inflicting sheer terror,

the facility is bursting at the seams

with paranormal activity.

Phantom footsteps and audible disembodied whispers

are heard, and growls.

People have encountered intolerable itching,

uncontrollable shaking,

and some have even been violently grabbed.

I am hoping though, with us being a little bit younger in age,

that will allow us to make maybe a deeper connection

with some of the juvenile spirits that might still be there.

Let's just say it's going to be a very strange night.

Not going to lie, Alex, your location was very nostalgic.

I feel like it brought us back in time.

Now, the maniac is back in control. Who?

The maniac. Yeah, you.

That is an honour. I'm going to give you guys a big hint. Ready?

I am telling you nothing.

What?

I don't want you guys to know anything

until we read the packet tonight.

There's a lot of time between now and the packet read.

Yep.

What exactly is going to fill that time?

Today, I thought we would have some fun

and go spend the day in the Big Apple.

We're going to New York, baby.

New York. Let's go!

Oh, yeah.

We're going to one of New York City's

tallest skyscrapers, to lean into fear,

push ourselves over the edge, over a ledge outside of the building.

I was following that until you said over the ledge.

We're going to a place called City Climb.

It's the highest open air building ascent in the world.

So, we're just going to be outside the building climbing up it?

105 storeys up, over 1200 feet in the air.

Dude, screw this. Oh, no.

My palms are actually already sweating.

You will be able to look over all of New York City.

How relaxing.

This is going to be absolutely wild.

This might be one of the most exhilarating things we've ever done.

If this is my last day on earth,

I will haunt the shit out of you.

OK. Here we go. Alright.

We're about to go high in the sky.

What are we doing? I don't know.

This is crazy. OK.

This is where it all... Whoa, OK.

It's going up right now, we're in an elevator.

My ears are popping.

Level 100.

Not even scared.

I'm super scared. Don't tell my friends.

Hey. This is happening.

Oh, no.

So, the way this works, you do not touch the trolley,

it's going to follow you everywhere you go.

Climbers ready? Climb on.

Climbers ready? Let's go.

Climbers ready? Let's go!

So freaking out. Like pumped up right now.

I'm so nervous but I got the adrenaline going,

that's for sure. Woo!

This is so wild.

Oh my God.

Oh my gosh, dude. This is so high.

Ready to go! Let's go.

Oh my God,

we're almost as high as the helicopter.

Oh my gosh.

This is incredible. Why are we doing this?

Oh my God, I'm going to yak.

You guys are crazy.

Yo, this is so sick.

Oh my God.

Dude, I don't think I can actually lean over though.

Yes, we can. Yes, we can.

Once you get to the edge just like this,

you're going to straighten your legs,

push your hips out and lean forward.

No. There's no way.

I... Yes, yes, yeah.

Alright, cool. Alex, come this way. You're going to try it.

What? Yeah.

I am not trying this first.

Yeah! Yes, Alex.

Oh my God. Wow.

This is actually so cool.

You got it, Tanner.

Let's go, Tanner. Yeah!

Fuck! Yeah!

This is insane! This is actually...

Oh my God.

You started, you did it. Hey.

You did it, dude.

Holy mother cracker.

Yeah!

Yeah!

OK, I'm done.

We've done a lot of crazy stuff,

but this is the craziest, coolest by far.

Yeah.

This is the most coolest thing I'll ever see.

I'm never going to beat this. This is wild.

Destination Fear!

What do you say we go read the packet?

I'm totally cool with it.

OK, yeah, let's go, let's go, let's go. - Let's do it.

If that was your pit stop,

I don't even want you guys to open this packet.

I was freaking out so much but that was so much fun.

I feel like I'm just going to be carrying this adrenaline rush

all the way to this location.

Trust me, you will.

If you thought today was scary, wait until you read this packet.

Here goes nothing.

Mid-Orange Correctional Facility? Mid-Orange Correctional Facility?

I'm just going to tell you right off the bat.

This is not like the normal prisons we usually go to.

The imposing buildings of the former Mid-Orange Correctional Facility

can be found quietly decaying

on the outskirts of Warwick, New York.

There's vines growing over everything, trees inside buildings.

It looks like you've walked back into an apocalypse.

You feel isolated coming up to it

because it's essentially in the middle of nowhere,

you go from civilisation to green open fields

and just mountains.

In 1932, the facility became a juvenile detention centre

known as the New York State Training School for Boys.

A lot of the children that came here weren't the average children.

They were children that were kicked out of their homes,

their schools, their towns

because they were starting fires, killing animals, hurting people.

This was the last stop for many young offenders

before they would be sent to harsher prisons.

They were supposed to be helping these kids

but a lot of them actually learned how to become better criminals.

One such case was that of Richard Biegenwald,

AKA, the thrill killer who was arrested for arson

and held at the reform school.

At age 16, he was released,

but he continued a life of crime,

which included murdering nine people

over several decades.

Although he died in 2008, while serving four life sentences

somewhere else, several investigators

have recently reported interacting with his spirit.

What? Yeah.

It can get pretty intense when you run into him in the buildings.

Just because his physical body is not here

doesn't mean he still can't hurt you.

The inmates were held in cottage style dorms

rather than cells,

which allowed them more freedom than a typical prison.

There is no bars here. There's no cells here.

They're just rooms with doors.

The units consisted of one single room

with a door with a window on it, and the other side

was basically cubicles with just beds,

kind of dormitory style.

They were only supervised by a cottage parent,

adults who lived in the dorms with them.

It gives them a lot more freedom,
