Death Walker - Third Season

Located in the small quiet town

of Bonham, Texas, is the Risser Hospital.

The structure was built by John Sparger,

Jr. In 1915 and originally served

as a residence for D.W. Sweeney, who was

a local merchant and banker.

In 1956, the home was purchased by Dr. Joe E. Risser.

Dr. Risser renovated the home into an 18-bed hospital.

It was one of several hospitals that operated in the county

until it closed in 1971.

It wasn't until November 16, 1961

that the Risser Hospital would gain notoriety

when the Speaker of the US House of Representatives

died in the Northeast downstairs room.

I've been informed that the building has

30 confirmed deaths and possibly more waiting to be

found in archival records.

It is believed that D.W. Sweeney's funeral also took

place in the home in 1925.

Donnie Kirke purchased the dilapidated property

back in 2018.

Donnie is a company owner and a real estate professional who

is in the process of renovating the old house

into a bed and breakfast.

I wanted to immediately investigate

this location before the renovations are complete.

And hopes that the altered environment

has stirred up, increasing the level of paranormal activity.

Upon my arrival to the haunted Risser Hospital,

Donnie informed me that he also renovated the home

next to the Risser Hospital, which

was also known to be haunted.

Donnie told me that his house is primarily

vacant except for his office.

And while tending to the reconstruction

of the Risser Hospital, he has been experiencing

paranormal activity.

Donnie asked me if I could conduct an investigation

on both properties.

I quickly accepted this offer since I

want to see if there's a connection

between both locations.

Perhaps, who or whoever is haunting the hospital

is migrating to and from Donnie's office building.

I'm assuming that the sudden influx of paranormal phenomena

is being brought upon due to the ongoing construction work.

I was told by a local paranormal investigator, Johnny Haney,

that he would investigate this location often

even when it was abandoned.

Johnny told me that he's seen shadow figures

and has captured a number of disembodied voices.

What intrigued me the most about Johnny's experiences

is how an entity physically lashed out

at him and his girlfriend as they slept on an air mattress

shortly after conducting a seance inside the home.

Work and construction has been halted

at both of these properties for the next 48 hours.

So I can conduct a thorough investigation

to see if the spirits of this old residence or perhaps

the deceased hospital patients are

OK with the ongoing renovations in the building.

I will also focus my attention on

a specific supernatural force that lashed out at Johnny

to see who or what it is.

And if it will be able to physically

attack me at the Risser Hospital.

Sam Rayburn was the 43rd speaker

of the House of Representatives for the United States.

And he died in this room right here.

We don't know the exact numbers, but at least 30 something

plus people passed away here.

This location holds so much energy.

You've got people that were born here,

and you've got people that died here.

My brother and sister was born right here in this room.

To know that my mom, which has passed away,

a few years now was here.

The emotions that I get in here, it's like every time

I come up as if I belong here.

Even when I was a kid, I drove by on my bicycle

and went to school across the street.

And there was like something drawing me in.

Me and my investigator, when we first came,

we set up an air mattress and our DVR.

And we heard disembodied voices, footsteps.

And about 5:00 AM in the morning, something

unexplainable with a lot of force

kicked the air mattress and moved it across the floor.

We've had a lot of disembodied voices in this room.

We've had voices yell in our ear while we're asleep.

In this room, right here where I'm standing,

we had one of our investigators get physically attacked.

She was scratched, touched.

And you could see the scratch on her neck.

People have been pushed and touched in here.

We've had poltergeist activity up here on the second floor.

We've had stuff moved and tossed like toys.

It's ended up from a room into the middle of the hall.

The people that's come here and have worked here

has reported phantom footsteps, shadow

figures going up the staircase.

The lady that worked here, one of the workers,

saw a shadow figure walk right up steps.

I've experienced shadows.

I've experience people walking in.

I've heard noises.

I've been upstairs.

And I've hear people walking around downstairs.

I've had people touch me.

I was doing the cleaning and stuff like that.

And it looked like...

I mean, it felt like somebody was just touching me.

Like, stop for a minute.

And I could feel the hair raising and stuff,

but I can also feel that there was somebody there.

And it just seems like somebody was walking past the door,

but nobody was there.

I feel it.

I mean, you know this is why he's here.

I walk past something then it's just like ice cold

and it stuns me.

I clean the houses and stuff.

And then I... when we did demolition and stuff,

the whole house was full of different stuff.

And I found, like these, the charts and stuff like this.

You know, the books and all this stuff was in the house.

Saturday afternoon, we were coming in here.

And after lunch, I had my two contractors here.

We were standing there right here.

And we heard upstairs people walking across

or a person walking across the stairs,

just like it was just walking.

I wouldn't really a believer.

And now that it happened to me and basically, I

wouldn't ever...

I wouldn't be saying this now if it hadn't happened to me

and two of my contractors.

The lady across the street, she said here, she

could see, at night, she see a lady, older lady

out of the bathroom window.

And that's what they said, you could see a person

out of this one over here.

With accounts of physical attacks

occurring in this location, I decided

to go right into the heart of these happenings.

I question if spiritual energy can

overtake a person's mind to self-inflict harm

on the human body.

Is there somebody in here that likes to scratch people?

I heard the story about you scratching

and reaching out to try to touch people in this room.

Can you try to do that to me?

What's strange is this room has more of a...

right when I walked in, I felt dizzy.

And the rest of...

I heard footsteps.

I thought I heard someone walking around.

Top of the steps?

Are you up here?

The surgical room is right up here.

Is the doctor here, still doing surgery?

Started feel pain, like a sharp pain in my side.

I think so, right?

We're in the surgery room.

Right when I walked in, right on my side,

it felt like a needle going into my side, right here.

It felt very strange.

It's like a pinching needle going right into my side.

Is there a doctor here that can help us?

Or any patients that didn't survive?

It's really weird, man.

I heard dragging coming from this room over here.

It's why I stopped.

I was just listening because I could hear someone dragging.

It's different at night time.

Look at the tracks.

So weird.

I just heard dragging.

And there's tracks on the ground like something

was being dragged out of this room, like a wheelchair.

I don't know if that was here, which is strange.

You were scaring some construction workers,

moving their tools around.

You were scaring people that were renovating this location.

I mean, they're trying to bring them back to life,

this location.

They're doing a lot of renovations.

Is that frustrating you?

You hear the walking?

It's like they're circling this location, man.

It's like they're moving through the rooms.

That was a weird voice that came through on the background.

It's like a woman crying.

Sound like a woman just cried.
