Le prime 197 righe.

I wasn't doing nothing wrong.

"Cops" is filmed on location...

...with the men and women of law enforcement.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty...

...in a court of law.

I grew up here in the Pacific Northwest.

I love Spokane, it's real close to a bunch of lakes,

...huntin' areas, fishing, outdoor activities.

Actually grew up here in the city of Spokane,

...and it's nice to be able to work in a place...

...where I can give back to my community.

So we're gonna stop this bike here.

He's not usin' any of his signals,

...and he's drivin' off sidewalks...

...and all over the road.

– ( RADIO CHIRPS ) – Garland and Cook.

– Hi, how's it goin'? – All right.

Why don't you have a seat on the ground there for me?

I didn't think you were gonna stop.

– Of course I'm gonna stop. – What are you doin' out here?

– Ridin' around. – Just cruisin'?

– Yeah, bored. – You live in the neighborhood?

No.

– Where are you from? – Where am I from?

– Yeah. – Spokane.

Where do you live at in Spokane?

Everywhere, I'm kinda homeless.

– Where's that? – Kinda homeless.

Okay. Just out cruisin' on your bike?

– Yeah. – Cool. Run into anything?

– No. – Nothin'?

Not yet, this is a new one, so...

Hey, you got your ID on you?

Uh, no, I don't.

No? Well, how about your name?

– Randy. – And Randy?

– Yeah? – You been stopped by the police before?

Yeah, in the past.

All right.

I didn't think you were gonna stop, you were goin' off all those jumps.

– I was just out playin' around. – (LAUGHS) Yeah?

All right, Randy, hang tight for me.

Can I... Can I ask a question?

– Yeah, you bet. – Why did I get pulled over?

Well, for one you don't have a helmet. And two, you...

– I thought that was only going in business areas. – What's that?

I thought it was only in, like, commercial or business areas.

Everywhere in the city of Spokane.

– Oh. – And also, you gotta signal your turns.

I know it sounds silly, since you're not in a car,

...but you gotta give hand signals if you're on a bike.

– Oh, really? – Yeah.

– Anything else? – Nope. That's it.

All right, Randy, hang tight.

Uh, we're just gonna make sure Randy doesn't have any warrants.

I'm runnin' the name he gave me right now.

And it looks like he actually provided me with a false name.

And his true identity, David, has an active warrant...

...for a DOC violation.

Copy.

Why don't you take your hand out of your pocket for me, please?

Getting my lighter.

So, Randy, do you go by any other names?

– No. – That's the only one, huh?

– Yeah. – No... No David?

No. No, I have a cousin named David.

Okay. – I've been through this many times.

– Well, I'll tell you what. – Yes, sir?

David, you do have an active warrant for your arrest.

– Excuse me? – So you're under arrest for a DOC warrant.

All right? So why don't you stand up,

– ...put your hands behind your back for me, please? – I'm not David, though.

Put your hands behind your back.

– Turn around. – I'm not David.

– Put your hands behind your back. – No.

Okay. Put your hands behind your back.

I'm not David.

I'm not David!

– Let go! – Turn around!

Don't grab me!

Get on the ground!

I’m trying to! (GRUNTS)

– ( MUMBLES ) – Put your hands behind your back.

– Get on your belly. – You're under arrest.

Oh... ow.

– Put your left hand out. – Getting 'em out!

Give me one second.

I got it.

– Why am I always... – 'Cause you're not doin' what you're told, man.

– It's too tight. – Sorry. Okay?

I'm out with restriction.

My name's Randy. God damn.

– Why are you runnin'? – Because I been through this, like, a million times.

Do you have anything sharp in your pockets?

– Yes. – What do you have?

– Syringes. – What pocket?

Right one.

Are you injured at all, David?

– ( COUGHS ) – Are you injured at all?

– I think so. (COUGHS) – Do you want medics to check you out?

– Uh... (COUGHS) – All right, David, I'm gonna roll you up to your butt, okay?

I'm gonna roll you to the right.

Okay?

David?

Let's roll him on his side.

– David? – ( GRUNTS )

There you go.

Hey.

43-1-8X, require medics, he's unconscious now.

– You wanna take 'em off? – Yeah, take 'em off.

David?

Or Randy?

All right, his pupils are coming back, that's good.

David, we need to know what you took, so we know how to help you.

He drank some soda?

He might've tried to get rid of whatever he had...

– ...right then and there. – Ate some dope then?

– Yeah. – He's swallowin'.

43... (MUTTERS) , just gave a dose of Narcan.

– David? – Is there anything on that that would indicate...

...what he might've ingested?

I think he might've just ingested some meth...

...when he knew he was going to jail.

– Okay, gotcha. – No, he was totally unresponsive.

Now he won't let his hand hit his face.

I did give him a dose of Narcan, 'cause his pupils were pinpoints.

– ( INDISTINCT ) – We did Narcan. They found some meth on him,

...and he wasn't reacting at all.

He was breathin' hard for a while, asked him if he needed medics,

...and then he started kinda dry heaving.

So inside his pockets he had this blue container.

And when I opened it up, small little baggie, a white substance,

...which I believe to be methamphetamine,

...and a small baggie of marijuana came out of it.

So we're thinking that might've been what he ingested,

...and might've caused his medical issue tonight.

When we got him into cuffs, he kinda started gurglin' a little bit,

...dry heavin', and then went unconscious.

So I checked his pupils, I just got some recent training on Narcan,

...they were pinpoint, which is one of the indicators of opiate overdose.

So I administered the Narcan to see if that helped,

...and he started becoming a little more responsive right before medics got here.

Medics checked his pupils again.

They said they were gettin' better, and they were gonna give him more Narcan...

...on the way to the hospital.

Perfect. So they'll go get him the help he needs.

He'll be cleared from the hospital and be goin' back down to jail.

I worked for the Sheriff's Office...

...for about three years. Usually what I like to take home...

...is just knowing that I got a dangerous person off the street,

...whether it be a burglar, a car thief, whatever that is.

Knowing that that person won't be able to victimize...

...anybody in my community...

...that night is something that I like to take home.

We're headed to a domestic violence call.

Sounds like, uh, an assault occurred,

...and the suspect, uh, ran out the back.

So we're gonna be assisting the K-9 unit here.

Do we know which door he went out of?

– This one. – Okay.

– ( MUMBLES ) Stop it. Stop it.

Stop it. Stop it.

Show me your hands now!

– Put your hands up, dude. – All right, put your hands up now!

– Hands up! – Sir, I have nothing.

Roll onto your stomach now. Roll onto your stomach now.

– ( DOG BARKING ) – Put your hands up.

You're good. Okay.

I'm wearing shorts, I have nothing, sir.

I have nothing, sir.

– ( PANTING ) – I have nothing, sir.

Put your hands behind your back, dude.

– You're under arrest, okay? – ( BARKING CONTINUES )

Roll onto this knee, and you're gonna stand, okay?

Yes, sir. Yes, sir.

– ( BARKING CONTINUES ) – Stand up.

We're gonna take him this way.

– Can I have my water? – We'll grab it later.

Okay, sir.

Good boy.

It was my phone and that... the only reason she was mad was 'cause...

...If you could have the medics come to the house, we'll take him out that way.

She found a little bit of porn on my phone.

– Hey, Tyler. Hey, Tyler. Yeah?

My light's back there if you could grab it.

The only reason that she was pissed off is 'cause she looked...

...at my phone, and she found a little bit of porn.

– She said... – That'll do it, right?

– I looked up a site. – That'll do it. Come on.

And I was over here, and I don't think I deserve this.

– And my phone and everything's over there. – He's gonna grab it for you.

I don't think I deserve that. I got kicked outta my own house that I pay for every day.

– You're under arrest. – What did I do wrong?

– You're under arrest. – For what?

– Assaulting your wife. – I never touched her.

Huh? What happened?

Showed up, and they said, "Yeah, we got good PC for assault."
