I was out there once.

I got some really great shots of the house

and I called, I talked to Travis.

He's gonna be out there.

- No, we don't need to take the shots.

- I got stills. - Okay.

I take a Polaroid out there.

I don't know if the 35 millimeter

are gonna turn out or not,

but I got 35 millimeter and I've got Polaroid.

And can you get all that?

I can get all that.

The assistant is down there, right?

And he's got everything set up?

Kevin is good, he knows what he's doing.

Okay, so he's got...

He's setting everything up down there.

The light should be set up,

the stationary camera should be ready.

- Power plant should be down there.

We've taken lanterns in case the power plant goes out.

We don't have a problem.

- Okay, and he's taken the cooler down and stuff?

- He's taken the cooler, he'll set the food up,

everything'll be there.

- All you have to do is find some ghosts.

Now, this psychic,

I talked to her briefly on the phone,

she is great.

I think she's gonna be doing a real nice job for us.

- Kevin is supposed to have gotten there

about dawn this morning.

He said he's running lights,

he's setting up the camera,

we should have everything down there.

The food should be there.

Everything should be ready for us.

I talked to,

I just hope he isn't gonna be trouble,

I talked to a Travis Taylor Jr.,

and he said we can film there,

he was kinda funny on the phone

so I'm just hoping, I'm just hoping.

That's why I'm just a little anxious about your assistant.

Like I said, we got the backup, we got the lanterns,

if the power goes out we're cool.

and B roll possibly on the way down.

'cause we need the psychic, is gonna be down there.

- You said something about doing some

remote shots on the way down before we go to the house?

Yeah.

There's a great cemetery on the way.

We'll stop and get some shots there.

I got a real weird feeling when I was there.

And there's this house that's right on the edge

of the property.

It's not the house we're going to

but it's right on the edge of the Black Lands,

it's really kinda cool.

Hi, J.B. Fox here.

This house, sits on the edge of what is called

the Black Lands of Texas.

It's now referred to as the Black Lands.

According to legend this is the portal to evil.

The first evidence dates back to approximately

37,000 years ago to the the Paleo-American era.

1946 a group of archeology students doing a dig,

discovered the remains of what was an ancient

hunting party.

Their work was dismissed as incorrect

as they were amateur archeologists.

Here's an excerpt from file report from the professor,

Dave Jefferson, on his findings,

"Their joints had been pulled apart and their heads removed.

"The bodies were arranged in a pinwheel type pattern,

"with their heads placed on their chest.

"The outline of the bodies were in the patterns

"placed in the shape of a pentagram.

"This does predate any evidence, and any history,

"of the pentagram."

Also in this area archeologists unearthed bones

of a Columbian elephant and giant mastodon.

Also, some tool stone heads.

Two were recognized as human,

and a third could only be described as un-human

or beast-like.

Pictographs found in caves nearby the area

show strange creatures coming out of the earth

attacking natives.

Little is known about these people

from these drawings,

and archeologists say they seem to have disappeared

suddenly and without a trace.

As you'll notice this house is quite dilapidated.

No one's lived here for quite awhile.

We'll be moving on to the cemetery shortly

and show you a little bit of that.
