Pierwsze 200 wierszy.
So, do you feel like you've disturbed something in here
since you've cleared out the forest?
We disturbed everything.
What you're about to see was never meant to be released.
This footage was recovered under the Freedom of
Information Act, pieced together through damaged hard
drives, discarded tapes and police evidence.
The crew who captured it, Calvin McCarthy, Eric Cheick,
Tim Coyle, and Naomi
haven't been seen since their disappearance in 2025.
I was hired as an editor on the original project
and the only crew member who didn't make that fateful trip.
My name is Alyssa,
and I didn't believe in any of this either
until I saw what they left behind.
With the help of first responding officer Derek Olson,
this is their story, presented exactly as it was found.
Viewer discretion is advised.
I don't know how they faked it, if they faked it.
I'm no big shot Netflix writer,
producer, or anything like that.
I don't know how that works.
But what I do know is what we saw and what we didn't see.
And I didn't see any bodies.
No blood.
No hair.
Not a damn fingerprint.
Officer Derek Olson first responder on the scene.
I remember responding to the call of, from the neighbors
adjoining property.
They heard a bunch of yelling, screaming lights flashing in
the woods, and thought it was a bunch of kids out there
drinking and whatnot as they do.
We got to the scene and nobody was there.
There was an abandoned car.
Some camera gear house looks
like it hasn't been touched in decades,
but no people.
It wasn't a soul for Miles.
It was very,
um, didn't make a lot of sense.
It still doesn't.
The
Boogeyman. Scene four A take 21 mark.
Action.
Well, hi there.
Welcome to Briar Hollow, a sleepy little rural town you
won't find on most maps.
Now, according to local legend, there's a malevolent presence
that haunts these woods.
Some say he's just make believe a story used to scare their
children into obedience.
They call him the boogeyman
if eyewitness accounts are to be believed.
However, he is very real.
Tonight we are going to go investigate the ruins of the
house he haunted and see if he's still lurking inside.
And what surprises remain there.
Cut.
- Alright. - Was that good?
Good job.
Yeah, that was fantastic.
Eric, do you guys want to go
get some B roll of the cemetery?
Take the black magic.
I'll take this.
Yeah. And uh, Tim, you want to go with him?
Maybe we might end up coming back here if the house ends up
being bunk, but, um,
we do need to go meet Jim.
We gotta go do Jim's interview right in a little bit.
Um, so let's do this in like 10 minutes because we're gonna
have to, we got a little bit of a hike up to the house.
Okay. You know, spooky B roll for this kind of, for this,
this moment.
Okay.
So do you have a boyfriend?
I don't.
You don't?
- Okay. - Yeah.
Um,
Single as a pringle.
Oh yeah?
For how, how long?
How long?
Uh, it's been a little while.
I mean, you know how Hollywood is.
Calvin's probably talking about
some deep character motivation, but really he's like,
let's just make this as spooky as possible
so we can make some money.
- Yeah. - What's like an ideal date?
Ooh, that's a good question.
Um, I feel like the classic is like dinner in a movie.
- Okay. - But
I'm a little more adventurous than that.
- Yeah, okay. - So.
- Adventurous. - I mean, something like this.
What about, uh.
Is kind of cool exploring a cemetery?
What kind of food? What Italian food?
Ooh,
I love Italian food.
Italian food.
My favorite is
probably sushi.
I know I have expensive taste.
Italian sushi.
Okay.
Japanese sushi
Is Oh, is silly.
Okay. Alright.
Okay. So, so this is about
as far as we go.
- Okay. - Alright.
So cut it And, uh, yeah, let's, let's get the gear.
Let's do it.
Okay. Let's go meet Mr. Jim.
We have to, uh, just cut the, just cut it.
Okay.
Thank you for doing this, Jim.
Of course.
Yeah. Yeah.
It's, uh,
it's tough to get people to do these interviews when you don't
have any money to pay them, so I really appreciate it.
I appreciate you letting us see.
Yeah. So when did you guys get the, uh, like the, the forest
cleared out like this?
Oh, a couple weeks ago.
Yeah, we finished.
So you feel like you've disturbed something in here
since you've cleared out the forest?
We disturbed everything, yeah.
Just a second.
Okay. Jim, can you tell us your first and last name?
Yes.
Jim Spence
And how long have you lived here?
Off and on for my whole life.
You say that this place is paranormal.
Can you tell us about that?
Well, around here paranormal is normal.
I,
Um, I don't like to go into that house
because of the chills and,
just different things happen when I'm in there.
So I try to spend most of my time in the woods
or working outside.
Have you heard about the legend of a boogeyman in these hills?
Can you tell us a little bit about that?
And if you believe in it?
I've heard some things about the boogeyman and um,
I'm sure maybe there is some truth to all that,
but I've seen Sasquatch.
I haven't seen the boogeyman.
And our very last question for
you, Jim, do you believe in the boogeyman?
Because of all the different stories I've heard, I am forced
to believe that he's out there somewhere.
Interesting. Thank you.
Alright, cut.
Alright. Thank you so much.
Yeah. Cut sound.
Thank you so much, Jim, for letting us use your property.
Alright. Yeah.
Watch your head.
Okay.
Um, okay guys,
so a couple things.
There was buzzing over that last part.
Did we care about that?
Um,
I, I think we're Okay,
Tim and, and Naomi, why don't you guys do a little bit of
like a preliminary, like sweep.
You guys can kind of scout some areas that, uh, we might want
stage some cameras later.
Um, go ahead and take this and then, um, leave the gear here
because I'm gonna get some cool.
So we just walk around
The woods.
Yeah. Tim will kinda show you
where I've been in woods all my life.
We'll be good.
Yeah. And, and then, you know, we might find some fun stuff.
Um, maybe you guys can even
find something spooky right now.
Is hand held cool?
Uh, yes, yes, yes.
Absolutely. Kind of just documentary stuff.
Okay. We're here with, uh, alright,
- Naomi. - Hi.
Let's.
He just walked away.
Yeah, I know. Weird guy. Huh?
Oh. Oh, that way.
- Okay. - Yes.
Oh God. I almost poked myself.
Don't do that.
