Pierwsze 200 wierszy.
My dead grandmother was into voodoo.
Her crystal ball is glowing.
Now something's haunting me.
It's glowing.
Can you see this? It's glowing.
My god.
I'm really scared.
Help.
My name is adam ellis.
In 2017, I captured the image of a ghost child in my apartment.
In a state of pure fear,
I decided to document my haunting on social media.
14 million people witnessed my terror
In real time.
Now, I'm on a mission to help others escape their nightmares,
And my friends have agreed to join me.
Jen lewis will help research and document our journey.
Ghost hunter paul bradford will drive the investigations.
The three of us will try to help people take back their lives,
And hopefully this will help me make sense of it all.
The reason we're here is
This woman named summer is having some problems.
She's having nightmares. She's not sleeping.
She's hearing knocks and bangs
And things in the walls.
Wow.
Her grandmother recently died,
And she inherited this whole trunk of weird objects
That her grandmother held onto.
Specifically, there's this crystal ball.
She was tweeting about it.
There's this really weird video of this ball, like...
It's just glowing.
I don't know how to explain it.
Yeah, it's glowing.
Yeah, I don't know what could be causing that
'cause the whole room is pitch black.
It's fascinating.
I mean, if there is no other light sources around at all,
It's a pretty cool video.
It is weird because the room is pitch black,
And it can't be from, like, her phone's light.
I don't know where it would be picking up light.
Without getting a look at the location,
It's gonna be very difficult to really determine,
But we will definitely attempt to replicate that.
The crystal ball is one thing.
It's weird enough, but it seems like
Her grandmother was, like, really into voodoo.
I thought crystal balls were used for fortunetelling.
I don't remember anything about crystal balls
Being connected to voodoo.
Is that what the theory is here?
It seems like her grandmother maybe took pieces
From different religions and rituals
And made them into something else.
I really don't know.
So, this whole thing is all new territory for me.
I've dealt with numerous attachments to objects
And personal belongings,
But I've never dealt with anything voodoo.
Hi. Hi. I'm jen.
I'm summer. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you.
Hi, I'm adam. I'm summer.
Nice to meet you.
Hi.
We've seen what you've posted online.
I'd love to hear more about your grandmother
And also this crystal ball.
My grandma was always a very spiritual-type person
I would say.
My whole life, she talked to me about ghosts and spirits
And ouija boards and her life back in louisiana,
And she always said that she would haunt me when she died.
I had lived here for years,
And it had been perfectly normal,
But when she passed away, I inherited my grandma's trunk.
Once I brought this whole trunk of all her things,
Including her crystal ball, into the house,
Things very quickly started happening.
I think most of it does center around the crystal ball.
So, this crystal ball came out of your grandmother's trunk.
Tell me more about this trunk.
My mom had this trunk as far as back as I can remember.
It contained my mom's journals,
Crystal ball, photographs, letters.
There's diaries dating back to, like, the late '60s,
So it's like her whole life
In chronological order, pretty much.
So, do you know what she used to do
With the crystal ball?
I believe to try to, like, summon spirits.
She said it was a portal,
So I think that's what she used it for mainly.
Could we see a photo of your grandma?
Yeah, sure.
So, this is my grandma pavana.
She's holding her crystal ball in it.
How old was she in this photo?
I think early 20s.
She may have been about your age.
Really?
What was it like growing up with pavana?
She had a really warm, loving, wonderful side,
But her dark side spiritually was scary.
She made voodoo dolls.
She would put hexes on people, put curses on people.
We would find a little plastic bag
With some human hair and a chicken bone
And an article of their clothing.
Who were her enemies?
Most people.
She didn't have solid relationships
With people for very long.
Can I ask how she died?
Short answer is natural causes.
We do have her ashes.
Summer has some. I have some.
My sister has some.
Some of your grandmother's ashes are actually in the house?
Yeah. Okay.
They've been kept on my fireplace,
Just on top of it.
Okay.
You said your aunt also has the ashes.
Can we talk to her, too?
You want to call her?
Yeah, absolutely.
That is very loud.
- Hello. - Hi.
Thank you for talking to us.
We have a lot of questions.
So, what was it like growing up with pavana?
My mother was a very eccentric person.
She was unpredictable most of the time
In her behavior of what she would do.
She talked like a sailor.
Do you mean, like, she cursed a lot?
Yes.
Probably every other word.
My mom dabbled in black magic, so that was part of where
I think things can definitely go horribly awry.
Are you worried for summer at all?
I'm worried about some of the things
That she's experienced, yes.
My mother definitely had a wicked streak,
And she had a lot of vindicative nature
And some of these things
That were very unpleasant and abusive,
But she was very childlike in a way.
Even on her deathbed, she would tell us numerous times
That she would always be around.
Wow.
There is a sense of, like, you know, she wanted forgiveness.
She sounds like she was complicated.
Yeah.
Thank you so much for taking the time to talk about your mom.
We really appreciate it, so thank you.
Welcome.
Bye.
Bye.
Summer, how did your haunting start?
The ball glowing was, I think, the first thing
That actually happened,
And shortly after that,
I started having pretty vivid nightmares,
And then I started hearing
Knocking coming from inside the walls.
That sounds terrifying.
The climax of it all was when I started waking up
And seeing a full-bodied apparition in my doorway.
There was this creature
With long, black spindly fingers
And long, sharp fingernails,
And she was standing there screaming,
But I couldn't hear anything.
I could just see that her mouth was open.
And then she took one step,
And the second she stepped in my bedroom,
She, like, evaporated essentially.
Do you feel like you're in danger?
Things just keep escalating.
The last thing that happened
Was that woman stepped into my room,
So I'm honestly terrified to think
That she could even touch me,
And I don't want to find out.
I don't want that to happen.
What do you think that is?
Perhaps whatever black magic my grandma practiced
May have drawn things in
With her possessions and the crystal ball,
And there could definitely be
All sorts of different things coming through that.
Sure.
Have you thought about just getting rid of the trunk?
Honestly, no.
Her whole life is in that trunk,
And not only do I think she would be absolutely furious
If I got rid of it,
