Another day, another douchebag,

Illegally parked in our accessible parking stalls.

- Every single day, I come across an able-bodied person

Parked in a fucking wheelchair accessible stall.

- These spots are not just for wheelchair users.

They're for anybody with a disability,

Whether it's visible or invisible.

They are not there for you if you do not have a legal card.

- My side entry van, the ramp comes out four and a half feet.

Oh, I was just going to be a minute.

It's always the fucking excuse.

- If we find you, we're going to have some fun.

I remember bean and I were going for dinner after

Vault one night, and I see this able-bodied man getting out.

He's in a handicap spot.

I'm like, "sorry, you can't park there. "

And he's like, "why not? "

I'm like, "my friend is coming,

And she's in a wheelchair, and she's going to need it. "

And he's like, "well, where do you expect me to park? "

I'm like, "that's not my problem. "

- When we went out for dinner and me and wade are getting out,

There was like a dude able-bodied, parked

Right beside us in the accessible stall, talking to us.

He's like, "hey, what's up?

Oh, that's cool.

You're getting out in your wheelchair. "

And wade's like, "yeah, I am. "

We're both looking at this guy like, "are you fucking crazy?

Get out of the stall. "

- We've all been through so much this summer,

And moving into the winter season,

It's just more hoops that we have to jump through.

And as a person with a disability,

It just makes you feel invisible.

Even one of my ex-friends, even after I was paralyzed,

She was like, "I'm not going to stop using it. "

And I was like, "this is bad. "

- That's why we've got to do something about it.

- Maybe it will create some serious awareness about...

I hope so man!

- People parking in disabled units.

It's dangerous if you have to go over speed bumps

Or an icy parking lot.

I need to go get groceries, too.

I am fed up with people parking in accessible parking stalls,

So I'm going to plan a protest.

We chose this parking lot because it's a government

Last week, I had my cruise for cmt meetup,

And ever since then,

Things are picking up and evolving at a very rapid pace.

I have been invited to be the keynote speaker at the

2023 cmt patient and research summit in boston.

This is such a big deal for me because one year ago,

I had no community and I was meeting cmt warriors in vegas

For the first time.

And now I'm speaking to the entire cmta community worldwide.

It's great and exciting and I'm so looking forward to it.

But a little bit of me wants to just be able to tell brian

What has come my way because he knows how special this moment

Would be for me.

I have not seen him since we broke up.

I don't really know how it's going to go.

I'm kind of nervous going into it because I'm wondering if any

Emotions or feelings are going to be triggered when I see him.

- I absolutely have no expectations going into this.

I mean, there's a lot of hurt, a lot of regret, remorse,

This, that, the other.

We haven't spoke all summer.

So I'm not gonna know until she's literally sitting

Right in front of me.

I was contacted by the director of the cmta.

They asked me to come to boston and do the keynote address

For the summit.

They have all the researchers and doctors

From all over the world coming.

That is amazing.

The whole time we were together, I listened, I saw the tears,

I understood the struggle.

When you went to vegas and how lit up you were about

Everything, you know, it was one of the greatest moments

Of your life with your disability.

This is an opportunity for you to break open the cmt branch
