not only would you wanna meet them,

you'd want to be them.

To test just how powerful their abilities are,

we have created the most difficult

mental and physical challenges ever seen.

There are no gimmicks here, there are no tricks,

just five very real, very incredible people

competing for $50,000

and the title of "Superhuman."

To help us choose a winner,

we've assembled an award-winning panel.

At just 19 years old,

he put his first 12 opponents

flat on their backs in the first round.

Known as "Kid Dynamite," it's Mike Tyson!

Hailing from Jersey City in my home state, New Jersey,

she's not only a star of the big screen,

- her music makes you scream. - Ooh!

And finally, he is the doctor in our house.

It's professor of brain surgery and neuroscience,

- Dr. Rahul Jandial. - ( applause )

Sit back in your seats, but don't relax too much,

because after seeing all five contestants,

it will be up to you to pick the top three contenders

and then our audience will decide which of the three

will walk outta here with the $50,000...

A musician and software engineer

whose brain processes musical notes

as visual colors.

This superhuman will stun you with the way she sees the world.

- ( music playing ) - My name is Kaitlyn Hova.

My superhuman ability is that I can see sounds.

When I hear a sound,

I see that sound as a color and a shape.

I see a really interactive painting unfolding before me.

Every sound has a color--

red, blue, green, purple.

When I picked up the violin, it was kind of love at first sight.

I really liked the shapes and colors that I saw when I played it,

and I'm hoping that after my time on "Superhuman,"

people will have a better understanding of how I see the world.

Well, Kaitlyn, your challenge

is called "Music to My Eyes."

You're about to watch a live musical performance

from some of the most colorful entertainers in the business.

But you won't hear a note of music

because you'll be wearing noise-canceling headphones.

Although you won't hear the music,

you will see colors. And from those colors,

you must interpret what song they are performing

and then play it back to us on your violin.

- Do you think you can do this? - We got this.

- Okay. All right. - ( applause )

And here to help with Kaitlyn's challenge,

please welcome the one and only Blue Man Group!

Wow.

Penn: Okay. Kaitlyn...

put on your noise-canceling headphones.

Now, not only are these noise-canceling headphones,

but we're also feeding really loud white noise

into Kaitlyn's ears. Kaitlyn, can you hear me?

I know that you can't hear me, 'cause I've tried those on.

For you at home, we're going to turn the sound down

halfway through the song so you can experience

a little of this performance just like Kaitlyn.

colors should go to vision, for most of us,

but in her brain, color takes a detour

and goes to hearing. And that's how she did

this magical mesmerizing demonstration today.

didn't discover his superhuman ability through an MRI.

He figured it out while he was trying to impress the ladies.

He is Seth Porges.

My name is Seth Porges.

My superhuman ability is advanced stereoscopic vision.

You give me two pictures or objects that are almost identical,

I can tell you instantly what the difference is.

All around us are objects that are almost the same.

No two humans are the same. Even twins are different.

And what you begin to realize

when you start looking for the differences in things,

is that's what makes life beautiful.

I can't really say that I won over my girlfriend

with my ability, but when she saw that I could do this,

she wasn't like, "Oh, that's weird, get away."

She was, like, "That's awesome! That's incredible!

- That is so cool!" - Yeah.

Seth: One of the things I wanna do out here

is show that you probably are really good at something

and you think it's just too silly to show off.

But it's not. It's incredible!
