When you line the interior of the explosive with a thin metal lining, and then detonate it,

the metal forms a jet forced by the shockwave from the explosion

straight up through the center of the cone.

The metal flies up utilizing the shock of the explosion,

so that jet is powerful enough to blow a hole through anything it hits.

With Infernals standing in as explosives to create that shaped charge,

they are planning to use minimal firepower to produce maximum damage.

Geographically, we are at the center of the Tokyo Empire.
