The first 200 lines.

Comedy Central Sports presents BattleBots.

Tonight, is that a flipping arm in Hexy Jr.'s pocket?

It sure is, and he's darn glad to see Salad.

Maximus vanquished the Barbarians, but he's

never faced a force as vicious as Atomic Wedgie.

And defending champ Biohazard is holding Greenspan

personally responsible for his plunging stock portfolio.

It's BattleBots 5.0.

This Comedy Central Sports presentation of

BattleBots is brought to you by Circuit City.

We know how you feel, that's why we're here. Circuit City, we're with you.

Hi everybody, I'm Tim Green, along with Carmen Electra, Arge Barker, and Tony Rock.

Now please allow me to introduce to you a man of wealth and taste, Bill Dwyer.

Nice intro, Tim. I guess you got that gift I sent you, huh?

Sure did. You scratch my back, I scratch yours.

Hey, easy. I got my limits.

Alright, I am pumped up for the fights tonight.

Experience and true bot building prowess are on

display, along with a whole lot of crashing and banging.

Dallas Gerker, Concord, California. Salad.

Scott Ferguson, Woodinville, Washington. Hexey Jr.

I have to try to get under him and have to try to avoid the little flipper.

Salad can run inverted, but it doesn't do very good.

Salad's a pusher and well known for it.

We want to try to get on the side of him and flip him over, pop him up in the air.

This fight's breaking out right now.

Introducing, in the red square to my right, robot soup, robot salad, fried robot.

There are a lot of ways to eat a dead robot. He'd know. He's Hexey Jr.

Builder Scott Ferguson's son Bobby is the weapons officer during the battles.

And in the blue square, he's meaner, uglier, and more unstable than a Raider fan.

He's Salad.

Builder Dallas Gerker's favorite tool, a vertical mill.

Whatever that is.

The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fighting time.

Hexey Jr., taller, bigger, big flipping arm.

A lot more power in Hexey Jr.'s flipping arm than Salad's.

There goes a flip.

And son Bobby, the weapons officer for the Hexey Jr. crowd,

is in charge of that flipping arm, so far showing the right stuff.

He's got three under his belt already.

Now Salad can run inverted, not as well as you can see.

And when Salad's inverted, that arm doesn't do him any good.

I'm surprised he's not able to flip himself right now.

Well, looks like Hexey Jr. may have some trouble here, Bill.

Maybe the kill saws did some damage.

No, there he comes right back.

He's back, but is the arm working?

Let's find out.

There's the arm, okay.

All right, here we go.

Systems all working for Hexey Jr.,

who's got an early lead in this fight over Salad.

Salad gainly trying to ram the bigger Hexey D.

We're not seeing a lot of driving skill from these two light weights right now.

Both pods positioning.

Salad smoking now.

A little Salad flamé out on the floor.

Man, that's like six or seven flips already.

Racking up points, Hexey Jr.

Hexey Jr. now Salad in a little control,

tries to ram Hexey Jr. into the spikes,

but Hexey Jr. pulls himself off.

Good driving by Scott Ferguson.

He said before his son Bobby operates a clipper

so he can concentrate on the driving itself.

You know, that team whoop-ass,

they're just the dandiest bunch of people.

They really are.

They're whoop-ass.

I don't mean to sound like a sap.

Oh, you do.

It's okay though, Bill.

We're glad to see a sensitive side of you.

All right, don't let anybody know about it, all right?

I'll keep it secret.

Here comes Hexey Jr. with another flip.

And this has been a flip fest for Salad.

Salad's got to make a run here.

He's got to get underneath.

He's not so much a flipper,

but here's what he's got to do.

Here is the chance for Salad

to ram Hexey Jr. into the spikes.

Salad smoking again.

That's not the Sal that we know.

That's not the Sal that beat Patriot earlier this season.

More flips from Hexey Jr.

Now Salad's really starting to smoke.

Oh, no kill saws.

Being a little kind with the kill saws there.

Salad still struggling.

Hexey Jr. with one final flip.

All Hexey Jr.

Team Whoopass

dominated.

Ah, what was that?

Let's take a look at the Circuit City replay.

You see that it was Hexey Jr. all fight long just flipping Salad.

Started early and just kept going.

One last run by Salad here.

Not enough.

Wow, an easy call for the judges.

Hexey Jr. wins 32-13.

Let's find out what the fighters are saying box side.

You flipped them more than Mary Lou Retton in that.

Well, we like to think so.

Had them over and over again.

It's a family affair here.

Hexey Jr.

Flipped them all day like flatjacks.

Congratulations.

And butter.

And butter.

Coming up, two-time champ Bile Hazard

is marching towards his third giant nut.

But Greenspan and his spinning hammer mill

stand in his way.

And Maximus wants to unleash hell on atomic wedgie.

Stick around.

Fast cars.

Sexy ladies.

Fabulous vacations.

They're not just champagne wishes and caviar dreams.

For bot builders, it's a glamorous reality.

Absolutely the slowest and ugliest boat on the entire lake,

but it's a lot of fun.

While you waste time thinking about the bot you want to build,

these guys are busy jetting off to exotic locations.

Cheers.

Partying with the rich and famous.

Let's do it.

And experiencing today's hottest adrenaline rushes.

Gadgets.

Man servants.

Celebrity friends.

They want for nothing.

First of all, you've got organized mayhem,

which I think everybody loves.

It's all just part of the lifestyles

of the robotic and famous.

For more information on how you can enter a fighting robot

in a BattleBots competition,

You want cute?

Watch seals.

You want mean?

Watch fighting robots.

Welcome back.

The lives of bot builders are pretty glamorous.

Well, it doesn't get much more swinging

than the life of one guy

who's custom-built his own robotic house.

We went to Illinois to see for ourselves.

Meet Ben Scora,

international man of robot mystery.

Ben's house is so tricked out

with all the latest gizmos and gadgets,

it's positively shagadelly.

This is my elevator.

And the reason I give it that name

is because when you get in here,

there's only room for two people.

Oh, behave.

We're standing in my automated kitchen now,

and this is where I cook up my love portion.

The secret ingredients?

We'll never tell.

And talk about swinging.

Check out this sweet ride.

The ladies love this.

Ben's so hip, he's even got a wingman.

This is my friend, Eric.

All these buttons represent a different movement.

All you have to do is remember the numbers.

Yeah, baby!

This is the life of Ben Scora,

international man of robot mystery.

The box is locked.

The lights are on.

It's robot fighting time.

The one thing that's missing from that house?

A fighting robot.

We've got two of them right here,

the super heavyweights.

Robert Everhart has spent thousands of dollars

upgrading Atomic Wedgie.

He's hoping it's money well spent.

Maximus looks and performs a lot like Vladiator.

Will Pat Lindstrom have the same success

as the former champ?

We're going to go in, kind of hit him,

fake him out.

We're going to peel off to the side

and bring our blade into his wheels

and try to rip him off.

If that doesn't work,

we'll just spaz out and drive around like normal.

Going up against Atomic Wedgie,

he's been around a while,

so we're just going to go and come out hard

and keep banging and hitting.
