-ID? -Yeah.
Okay.
Alicja Bochenek's murder case remains unsolved.
One theory is that she was killed because she knew too much
about the drug-dealing going on in our neighborhood.
The crash resulting in the death of her student, whom we identified
as a dealer working for Nowak, complicated the case.
However, in the middle of the riot,
Sergeant Zawieja got ahold of the phone
belonging to Kamil Pawlak.
Now listen.
Zawieja needed to rest for a bit after that heroic action.
Anything that we find on there is not valid in court
because of the way that she obtained the device.
Although, the picture that was on there is very useful.
Trepa, go ahead.
The voice messages and texts on it suggest there is going
to be a large drug deal in a few days.
But, from what we know,
it most likely has to do with a turf war.
This war is between Nowak and the man who's wanted
under a European arrest warrant, Wictor Molski.
Since we don't know the date or location of the deal,
we're going to increase street patrols.
So then... Madejski and his squad,
I want surveillance around Nowak's two businesses,
the waterfront and the transshipment hubs.
And me, sir?
Commander.
Uh, today you can do office work.
Write a report on yesterday's incident.
Write down how the escalation unfolded,
resulting in the use of pepper spray.
Perfect.
Get to work.
No, no, no. I'm driving.
-You drive like shit. -All right.
-Coffee first? -Yeah.
Trepa.
I hope they made new stuff this morning.
Go get Kinga.
Ask her about those texts about the corrupt cops.
-She might know something. -Okay.
You got it.
Trepa. How's she feeling today?
I'm not her caregiver. How would I know about how she's feeling?
Why don't you call and ask her yourself?
I tried, but she won't answer.
Well...
This is Zawieja. Leave a message after the beep.
Uh, hey, Kasia. Bet you're sleeping.
Uh, I just wanted to see how you're feeling, so...
Call me when you wake up. See ya.
THE THAW
What now?
We just gotta go there.
That's fucked.
Like the man said, just keep your cool.
I want all the teams to head to their assigned areas.
-Come on. Let's go, guys. -Fuck!
See ya, Woźniak.
Finish the report.
I'm thinking you'd better stay down here, just in case.
Okay.
We posted a few different questions
on our social media accounts
and asked you to send in your answers.
I have to say, you guys did not disappoint
and I can't wait to read some of these.
Before we get to that, here's some tunes
to help you finish up your work day.
-Excuse me. -Hello?
I'm Detective Trepa. I'm with the police in Szczecin.
-Is Kinga Antoszkiewicz here? -My Kinga? What's going on?
I wanted to talk to her, that's all.
Like the last time at your station? Without my consent or knowledge?
I'm sorry, but she's traumatized and scared.
I understand, ma'am, I know the police mishandled the situation,
and I apologize for that.
I do. But I'm asking that you allow me to speak with her.
She may be able to help us with something. Is she here?
Kinga!
Kinga, come speak with the police.
Stop!
Stop! Police!
Okay. What? You came for me now?
Kamil's dead and I'm next, right?
Hello, guys. I'm Detective Trepa. I work in Szczecin.
I've been an officer for over ten years,
and I don't want to hurt anyone here.
This person in front of me,
the one who's recording me, is Ms. Kinga Antoszkiewicz,
implicated in incitement against the police force and other crimes.
Enough videos on the Internet.
Or social media, whatever.
You're saying there's corruption in the police?
Tell me what you know about it.
You won't get hurt for doing this, I promise.
Talk to me.
His dad had an accident, and his mother left after that.
So Kamil had to go get a job then,
and he found one at Nowak's.
I think that it was something to do with cabs.
Once he started working there,
he realized that if he delivered for them,
he would earn more doing that.
Around then is when Kuba found out he was delivering drugs
and asked Kamil to give him some.
Why do you think your teacher died?
Was Kamil involved?
No.
They talked that night, and she said that she knew some guy
who was in the police that...
would help to work out this whole thing.
And then she died.
And how were the police involved?
Well, there was a password you have to say,
which shows that Nowak is working with you.
Police will let you go then.
Are we to believe that multiple cops in our department work for Nowak?
There's just no way.
I'm curious about who Alicja knew.
-You don't think it was just Zawieja? -No. Definitely not.
She very clearly said it's a male officer.
Can't be her, then.
Hey, do you mind if I were to drop off a little food for Kasia?
Fine with me.
How's she doing?
Mm. Getting some rest.
Hi, Janek.
Hi, Trepa.
Oh! Sounds like you're having a great day.
So where's Kasia?
Uh...
Kasia?
Kasia is... She's not here, no.
I see that. Do you know where she is?
Uh, Kasia is at work. Or she was just... Um...
She's taking the trash out.
All right, well, she's not at work.
Know what time she left?
She went to take the trash out. Yesterday.
Uh-huh.
And Gosia?
Who?
Gosia. Gosia, you know.
Gosia. She's at school. Where else would she be?
Hey, Gosia, are you with Kasia?
Uh-huh. No, no, no. I'm sure I'll find her soon. All right.
Have a good day.
I brought this. It's for you.
-Have it. -What for?
Lunch. See you!
-Excuse me. -Can I help you?
I... I have to speak with a detective.
Okay, but who exactly are you looking for?
For a friend of Kasia.
-Lea? -Did they ask you to come in?
I wasn't... I was there when she was taken.
What?
Hang on. She's coming in with me.
Come on.
Let's go.
Talk.
I, uh...
Look, I was told she would be okay.
That... That Lański guy tricked me into doing it.
He told me that if I set up a meeting with Kasia,
then he would...
take me to my daughter.
But then when she came over, she...
Well, she was drugged and kidnapped.
Where is she?
