Uh, Lake -- L-A-K-E.
- Court? - Court. Yep.
- Nevada. - Nevada.
Great.
All right.
It'll take us four days to walk there.
All right. Here we go. Vegas!
- Yeah. - Yeah.
Hi. I'm Stephen.
I'm the guy wearing the cheetah shirt in the passenger seat.
And that's Joe driving.
Joe and I have been friends and comedy partners for years,
but recently we've been a little adrift.
Uh, nothing bad.
It's just that Joe is moving on with his life.
He's getting married to Vidhya and becoming a real adult
while I'm, uh -- I'm not really sure what I'm doing.
To be honest, we both have some confidence issues.
I'm an out-of-work actor in L.A...
Can I be frank with -- Uh, sorry. Let me double-check.
...who has a dead-end day job
as the salad-bar attendant at the Burbank Whole Foods,
while Joe, since adolescence,
has had this deep-rooted insecurity
that he's not sexy enough
or just enough for anyone to actually love him.
He told me this.
So with his wedding coming up,
I want to throw Joe a bachelor party.
Of course you think of Vegas and strippers,
but that's so basic, you know?
I wanted to give something to Joe
that would be unforgettable,
something that'd make him feel confident
and that he is sexy enough.
And something that would reinvigorate our friendship.
And the more I thought about it, the more I realized
that strippers wouldn't be so basic after all.
We do one last big hurrah before your wedding day
and live like strippers.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, yeah, we could probably...
We could -- I mean, we'll --
we should definitely get strippers for sure.
Yeah. I wasn't thinking, uh... get strippers.
Thinking maybe why -- why get them when we could,
um...we could be them?
Hmm.
Joe was hesitant at first.
But he and Vidhya thought that this might help his confidence,
so he said yes.
But we needed someone to show us the ropes.
So I slid into the DMs of Aaron Lucey,
the choreographer of Aussie Heat,
the most hands-on male strip show in Vegas.
I mean, this guy was fuckin' cool.
Look at his Instagram page.
Underwear. Motorcycles. Aviators.
Aaron and I bonded over dance.
I trained in ballet for 10 years,
and when you're a dancer,
you just have this immediate bond with other dancers.
Plus, Aaron really liked this weird bachelor-party idea,
so he agreed to train us and maybe even let us audition
to perform with the crew for a night.
With Aaron on board, we felt that we were ready
to begin this adventure
to find the confidence that we desperately need.
So we set out to that little place I like to call Skin City.
-Love you. -Love you too.
Uh, Las Vegas.
Sometimes it's a little tough when your --
your life isn't bad at all,
but there's nothing really about it
that you're like, "Oh, this is special.
But, you know, maybe we'll find our true calling as strippers.
I think that's what we're getting to, right?
Yeah. Two, you know, out-of-work actors go to Las Vegas
and find their new chapter.
This would have gotten green-lit straight to studio
if this was 1995.
Right. Yeah.
We made it to Vegas,
and I was gonna treat Joe to only the finest accommodations.
My Aunt Carol's tax-haven bungalow.
I mean, this is a big-ass house.
Yeah, it's a nice house.
Better than the Cosmo is what I say.
If we were staying on the Strip,
I feel like we'd be pretty, like, exhausted.
-You know? -Yeah.
You know, 'cause Vegas can be a little draining,
-with all those lights. -Yeah.
We were off to Aussie Heat
with VIP comps supplied by Aaron.
Ten dollars? Uh, okay.
And parking was not included.
Hey! Aaron. Nice to finally meet you. Stephen.
Hello, everyone. How you feeling tonight?
-You having a good one? -
Excellent. Excellent. My name is Lenny.
I'm your emcee and host for the night.
Welcome to the Mosaic on the Strip,
-and welcome to Aussie Heat. -
By your show of hands --
If it applies to you, then raise your hands in the air.
Question number one -- Who likes their men young and hot?
Okay. That was an easy one.
If you're running out of arms, you can use your legs.
What about a PhD degree?
-Yeah! -Whoo-hoo!
Question number four -- What about a 10-inch penis?!
- -Yeah.
Well, you are all in luck,
-Those exist? -...because he definitely has
-three out of the four! -
When we came out here, part of me thought
that we'd be in some seedy back room
watching Aaron show us his butthole.
But this was one of the best pieces of theater
I've ever seen.
And the guys had so much confidence.
They could just grind on stranger after stranger.
If I grinded on some rando,
they'd probably just laugh or call the police.
I admired them. I was jealous of them.
And it dawned on me that this might be my calling.
This show had ballet, acting, improv comedy.
Maybe Aaron could train us so well
that we could get on the show
and we could get the love that they got.
Joe would feel like he's sexy enough,
and I could quit the salad bar.
Maybe this doesn't just have to be a bachelor party
but a new-career party.
And I know Joe might be down to do this for real.
He was in love with the show.
In fact, he loved it so much,
he even volunteered to go on stage.
Dude, that was like...
My body was vibrating.
That was so crazy.
I think you -- you got to get a lap dance.
-to actually know... -Know. Yeah.
...if you want to be a stripper, and...I don't know.
I felt like I want to be a stripper.
I was like, "This is crazy power."
-Yeah. -Like, crazy --
Not even power, but just, like...energy.
-It was weird. It was awesome. -
I was so happy Joe was down to do this.
And who knows?
It could be the first chapter of our new lives
as male strippers.
Make some noise for these guys!
I don't -- I've never had a lap dance before, like, so...
my heart was, like, beating out of my chest, just like --
But it wasn't like I was nervous.
I was just, like, exhilarated.
You see I'm running backwards and forwards everywhere.
-I'm like, "Oh, my God!" -Yeah, yeah.
You crushed it, though, man. You were so good.
All right. Be in touch. Have a good trip tomorrow.
- Thanks, guys. -Thank you. That was fantastic.
Yeah. Most welcome.
You have a diva -- What's it? A diva show?
- Divas' Day Out. -Okay.
It's basically an event that happens in Reno,
like, every year.
It's like a bridal-expo-ish thing.
It's like a huge bachelorette...
-Yeah. It's a convention. -Wow.
-Cool, man. -All right.
-Take care. Great show tonight. -See ya. Thank you so much.
-See you soon. -Have a good show tomorrow.
-All right. Take care. -Yeah.
That, like -- That was crazy.
That, like, 30 minutes of lap dancing.
-Yeah. -Like, it didn't stop.
And then you would think, like, "Okay.
They hit all the people with pink wristbands."
-No. They keep going. -They keep going.
They hit them twice, three times -- thrice.
They kept getting people after that.
They're hitting them thrice.
It's like everyone was having fun,
and then it was all like...
Like, it felt like a fun workout.
-Yeah. Yeah. -I would love to do that.
I just -- I think I'm nervous about doing it.
It's like..."Okay. Those guys are super ripped."
-Yeah, they were ripped. -They were very ripped.
They were ripped, and one of them had a 10-inch honker.
-Yeah. He had a big-ass penis. -I mean, they said it on stage.
Like, they're not gonna just lie about it.
We should ask him if it's --
"Hey, is it really... like 10 inches or..."
