and veteran Wedge of Doom takes on

Code Black, a rookie Tim.

but so has Wedge of Doom.

is a fiber optic splicer who wants

to be a NASCAR driver.

The box is locked.

The lights are on. It's robot

fighting time and Wedge of Doom

comes out fast.

Wanted to get out there before Code Black

got that spinner going.

Wedge of Doom, nothing caught Black into

the pulverizer.

And that had to do

some damage.

That spinner is an awesome weapon

against Wedge of Doom. He gets that

going. It's low. It'll cut right

into Wedge of Doom.

Tony Bucconiani

builder and driver of

Hazard as well as Wedge of Doom.

Very experienced

and he's showing it here. Just taking

Code Black around the box.

Taking him to the spikes.

Pushing him toward the pulverizer

again.

And Code Black makes it on the chin.

And you know what? I mentioned the

spinning blade of Code Black and of course

once I mentioned it, it goes out.

But right now Code Black doesn't have too much

going on.

He's an easy target for the Wedge of

Doom. He's not as quick.

He's fighting tentatively

now. I don't think he has

anything to fight with, Bill. I think

as you said, that blade looks like

it's been disabled. Wedge of

Doom in complete control.

He's gonna use that arm. He's

clamping it down and he's guiding

Code Black back

under the pulverizer.

Getting tapped by the

screws. Now he's just gonna guide him

around right into the pulverizer.

Oh, Code Black nudged

into the screws. Now back to the pulverizer

and that got him. Wedge of Doom

gets a shot from the pulverizer.

Uh-oh.

Look out. Oh,

that crumpled the body.

Wow. That could be it for

Code Black. You know what?

Rookie driver Adam Baxter, he's got

nothing to be ashamed of.

Pop that pulverizer

some more.

and that doesn't appear to be

mature. It looks like Wedge of

Doom has won this semi.

simple with pounding.

finals, but how does it feel to be in the finals

with Wedge of Doom? Well, it feels even better

to be in the finals with Wedge of Doom

because it's never been in the finals. It's only

been in the semifinals, quarterfinals.

I've always wanted to see this bot succeed

like Hazard and now it is. So it's real great.

NASA's rovers are designed to do

construction work on Mars.

Sharing a brain and working as a team,

they'll lift large beams, move heavy

equipment, and make catcalls at hot

Martian chicks.

A tiny tank-like robot is being used

by the U.S. military on reconnaissance missions.

It's got up to 12 cameras and goes

into risky areas, then sends the

images back to the controller.

It's called the Irby and its next mission,

Kappa Gamma Sorority House.
