MALDIVES INDIAN OCEAN
["Empty Promises" by Katie Hargrove & Stevie Gold playing]
Ever since I was a little girl, it's been my dream to come to the Maldives.
I AM GEORGINA
The ocean... I gotta say, the color's crazy. It's like out of a... a movie.
It radiates light and energy. It's incredible.
Almost as if what I was floating on was the blue sky itself, you know?
It's like you're just some tiny blip in a vast ocean.
I loved the experience.
Let's hope there are no sharks!
What I did not enjoy was that there were so many sharks.
I'm so scared!
Now we're in a horror movie.
- Who'll take me? - Not me.
- My legs are tired, and... - I'm scared.
Every time I felt the water, I was thinking about sharks.
- I swear. - Me too.
My last day as a 29-year-old, and I get eaten by a shark.
I'm not just scared, okay? I'm, um, horrified by the idea.
Now all I see is sharks, I swear. I see a rock, and I think it's a shark.
They said, "The sharks here are vegetarian."
What kind of shark is a vegetarian?
No, no, no, no.
Seriously, I can't deal.
Look. Over there, I saw something.
It's big.
- There's a shark there. - Okay.
It was a shark. Sure, it was a baby, but it was a shark.
And if the mom's nearby and sees people near her baby,
who knows if she'll attack?
Horrible. I did not enjoy my time in the kayak.
I even got stranded.
I don't like being so far adrift either.
If I'm on a boat, no way I'm diving in.
That's where the sharks are hanging out!
Over here!
Then I see Sergio and Serpiente, and all I can think about is my son!
He's in the middle. What if the kayak tips?
Sergio!
- Wait, hold on. -
Oh, that was some drama.
The Maldives, I'd describe as paradise on Earth.
A place to completely relax.
And enjoy some family time.
Mommy, I was able to see Nemo! And then... And then... And then I saw this huge turtle!
The coolest part for the kids was definitely the turtles, so...
It was a turtle!
- I swam with them. - Aren't you a lucky boy?
- You've always wanted to. - My dream is to see a shark.
- Oh, no. Anything but that! - Me too!
The kids had such a great time. They're game for almost anything.
You guys swam so well.
Okay. Same thing, but further over there.
In the Maldives, I had to shoot a video
for Vogue Mexico for their series "What's in My Bag."
- Too much light? - I don't get it.
Are we good to go?
The contents of a woman's bag says a lot about her.
Hi, Vogue.
I'm Georgina Rodríguez, and I'm gonna show you what's in my bag.
- Watch your foot. - Don't sit up so straight.
- - Not so rigid.
- I shouldn't sit up straight? - That tall?
I was training with Soraya to correct my posture,
and now you're undoing all her work.
I'm gonna tell her. Watch yourself.
But you were like this, talking to the camera.
How's the sound? It's okay?
- Talk so Ramón can hear you. - Hey, knucklehead.
- How's the sound? - Knucklehead.
So good. Perfect.
- Silence. We're shooting. - Cell phones.
Let's get a hello from Gio.
Hello, Vogue. I'm Georgina Rodríguez, and I'm gonna show you what's in my bag.
- More conversational. - Okay, wait.
You better not get water on the bag.
I already had some water, but thanks anyway.
- Thanks, Ramón! - For being so attentive.
- He's so attentive! - We can't keep stalling.
Filming the bag thing was really fun, but not without the chaos.
Three, two, one. Quiet, please.
What does your bag say about you?
My bag says I'm a woman who's always prepared.
Ah, I don't have my charger on me, and I always do.
- Could you go get it? - I'll take a look.
Get the iPhone charger. Any charger will work!
- Soraya's going. - The one that has "Gio" on it!
Three, two, one.
What would we be surprised to find in your bag, Gio?
I have a few surprises in here, but I think the most...
- - Wait. There's a fly.
- Again. - Ask the question again.
- What would we... What... -
What would we be surprised to find in your bag?
- I've got lots of surprising things... Ah! -
- Quiet, go. - For example, some chocolates...
- Hold on. Ramón? Dude! - Sorry.
- Thank you. - Sorry.
What the hell?
We were in a rush because the sun was going down,
and we were worried that we'd end up shooting in the dark.
For example, I've got some gummies, and they're, uh, unopened.
The little mice in my house haven't gotten to them yet,
so I've still got a whole packet.
- My Rimmel... - Don't say "Rimmel."
- That's another brand. - Ah.
- Aren't I quite the pro, Ramón? -
- That's fine, right? - Listen, it's a joint effort here.
Good God. Why are you guys being so...
And here I've got these two quotes that are really significant to me, so...
- This first one... - Phone on silent, please.
- It's distracting. - Whose is it?
Not mine.
- It's yours, isn't it? -
Of course, deep down we love him. But boy, can he be hella extra.
- She's ready. - Come on. The light. Go!
I have so many things. For example, I've got slime.
I've got my rosary.
I've also got the first designer wallet I ever bought for myself
when I was working at Prada.
It's red because a customer from Asia
told me red is more likely to attract wealth.
- I've also got... -
God, those Jet Skis are pretty loud.
...a ribbon of Our Lady of the Pillar.
A good friend gave it to me.
- So I'm connected to God. - That's a deserted island, no?
No one's there.
We're shooting. Did he forget?
Here, I nominate my friend Eva Longoria.
Because I want her to tell us what's in her bag.
Perfect.
Okay, now say goodbye. "Thanks so much, Vogue."
Thanks so much, Vogue.
- Do a wink or kiss to finish. - Come on, Ramón.
You keep interrupting us constantly.
And you're the one who's always going on about perfection.
Don't eat my candy!
Look, honestly...
Ramón, why don't you go work from home now?
Just go work from home.
Only one phone went off. You'll never guess whose.
- The only one working hard? -
They don't want me. I know when I'm not wanted.
- Let's go. - Say bye to Vogue.
- Go. -
And on top of that, amid all the chaos, Ramón gets upset.
The worst possible moment to get angry.
Thank you so much, Vogue.
I loved showing you all everything that's inside my bag.
I hope you found it as entertaining as I did.
See you soon, darlings. Well, until next time.
- Awesome! - Bravo!
- Perfect. - Thanks, Ramón!
He loves us, and we love him, too,
but we can get on each other's nerves a lot.
- Ramón. - He's actually angry.
Want me to call him?
- No, I called him. He hung up. - I'm dead.
Maybe he's got other things on his mind.
I guess I should see what his deal is.
- I'm there working... - Maybe he's sorry.
No. We're there working, and he just kept interrupting.
We had to hurry. The sun was going down.
And then he said, "No, I'm leaving, and I don't care at all."
- Ramón can be a lot to be around. - He is.
- You think you can relax. No. - He's usually nice, but...
- Like a good dad. - To get sweet Ramón, you gotta...
put up with sour Ramón.
You talk to him, Gio. I'm sure with you, he'll...
- That one? - Yeah.
I can't believe he's a drama queen.
- That's one way to say it. - Where is he?
- It's the other one. - This one.
- This one? - I think. Yeah.
- - Oh, that's his hat. It's this one.
Let's see.
