I was looking directly into Aaron's eyes

and I'm like, "Dude, he's affected."

This is one of the scariest moments I've ever had with you.

All I remember is, when you got scared,

I snapped out of it and realized I wasn't there.

The living is not supposed to cross through

the doorway to the dead.

We have seen things that defy explanation,

experiencing the best...

God, that was awesome, dude.

That was so gnarly, man.

...and worst...

These dolls are gonna **** take our souls.

...of the places between worlds.

I want the portals of this forest wide open.

Now it's time to look back.

One of my scariest nightmares that we are about to relive.

For the first time ever,

I'm inviting you, the audience,

into my inner sanctum.

Together, we will pull back the curtain on the biggest,

scariest and funniest moments from our investigations.

Whitmore Mansion, ladies and gentlemen.

Let it roll!

There's something about the Whitmore Mansion

here in Nephi, Utah.

Even when you're walking outside

and you're looking at this place,

it's as if something is staring back.

Dude, this lockdown,

this took me months and months to get over.

Like, literally, months and months. - You... I know.

This was a bad moment for you.

For decades,

people that have lived here have had experiences

with its resident ghosts.

One of the reasons for these experiences

could be we're only a few blocks away

from the Nephi Massacre,

where seven Goshute Native American Indians

were massacred and buried in a shallow grave.

George Whitmore killed an innocent man

for his cattle.

And this place was cursed since the day it was built.

This house was like a book, a mystery book.

And every chapter, there was different stories,

different everything, and there's so many layers to it.

So it... it's very hard to pinpoint...

Am I wearing the same hoodie?

That Jeff Ross made fun of me?

Wait, was this before Comedy Store?

This is before.

See, I was having fun wearing the hoodie

until Jeff Ross, you know, made fun of it.

I think your hoodie is **** with the electricity.

I mean, we tried to tell you, but.

The new homeowner, Jackie,

tells me about a former resident

who had a life-changing encounter.

We did have, one of our family members

that was sleeping here

have a sleep paralysis dream.

She woke up and she saw two men watching her.

And she said it was two men dressed in old-fashioned clothing,

that they had bowties, one of them had a moustache.

So we're thinking, you know, maybe it's Whitmore.

'Cause we have a painting over on the wall.

So we showed it to her and she said yes.

But the men that were in the room were younger.

She, till this day, refuses to sleep in that room.

Sleep paralysis is a very real thing.

But one of my very first experiences with a spirit

was sleep paralysis.

But this spirit was laying on my back.

I couldn't move. When I flipped over,

I saw the silhouette of a woman staring at me

at the corner of my bed.

Spirits can cause sleep paralysis.

My theory on that is that when we're in the sleep state,

that's their zone where they can really communicate,

say things to you.

It's like where our protective veil thins

and they can reach into our mind.

Mr. Whitmore was involved in the killing of a man

over cattle.

And the details of that are still kind of a mystery.

What we're trying to do right now

is find the history that could match up

with the current-day manifestations of these spirits.

A man named Joe Walker claimed that his family owned a herd of cattle

that were given to the Whitmore family to manage

until Walker came of age.

When he showed up to collect those cattle,

George Whitmore refused.

This compelled Walker to steal his property back.

Whitmore then decided to put a final end to the matter.

He used his fortune to gather up a posse

and put Joe Walker into the ground.

Was the cattle rightfully Walker's

or Whitmore's?

Over 100 years later,

new information has been unearthed

that paints a picture of a harmless cowboy gunned down

after a rich man's lies stole what was rightfully his.

Whatever the truth,

both men have taken the answer to their graves.

This is the backdrop of a movie right here.

And you're only getting one side of the story

from... whether it's the newspaper clipping... - Exactly.

...or what he said she said.

So you don't really know who's really right.

There's something about this house.

It's almost like the veil between us and them is just thinner.

That first sentence she said

nailed the whole premise of the entire investigation.

Yeah.

Guessing you believe there's active portals

in this house as well. - Absolutely.

All of the traumatic experiences that have happened here,

I feel like there's some sort of like fracture.

Those doorways have been created

due to spirits and people not fully at rest.

Didn't you guys feel like they weren't really telling us like everything?

Yes! - They were holding back.

It straight up felt like a movie

that we had to find out on our own. - Huh.

Jackie's sister-in-law, Cari, starts to tell me

some very sensitive information

and a particular disturbing encounter she had

when she brought her son to the mansion for a seance.

My ex-husband passed away two and a half years ago.

And our oldest son was recently having his own issues

with seeing spirits.

From the time he was about three,

he started talking about a boy named Riley.

Your son was?

I assumed it was imaginary.

Over the summer, I met a lady that is a psychic medium.

So I had her come and do a group reading for the entire family

here at the mansion.

I didn't understand this.

She has a psychic medium,

brings her son to the Whitmore Mansion,

a place that's already charged

with a lot of energy of its dark past.

Why would you choose the Whitmore Mansion...

Right. Exactly. - ...as the place to open the veil?

So because you think that this place,

the veil is so thin,

that was the whole basis of bringing the psychic medium. - Yes. Yeah.

But while she was here, something else happened.

Yeah. She said, "Did your son have an imaginary friend?"

And I said, "Yeah." I had kind of forgotten about it.

And she was like, "Was his name, Riley?"

And this psychic medium just guessed the name Riley?

She said it wasn't an imaginary friend.

She said, "Your ex-husband is telling me that he has, um,

a dark spirit attached to him."

If there is a fracture or a portal

where spirits can come in and out,

you just opened it up even more

by bringing that into your home. - That's the thing.

What happens, a lot of these places,

they think they wanna communicate with one spirit,

a lost relative or something. - It could be any spirit.

But they... once you open that door,

anything's coming in. - Yeah.

This **** episode's giving me anxiety already, bro.

She sat him down afterwards.

We were in the front room on the couch.

The whole time, there was someone standing next to me.

And I thought it was her friend that had come with her.

And when I turned,

it just kind of like evaporated.

That figure next to you disappeared?

Yeah, but every time I would try to look,

they would be gone.

I feel like that was... that was Brandon.

That was my ex-husband.

They were very tall and my ex-husband was 6'9".

Now, she perceived the shadow to be her deceased husband.
