We are live on Netflix.
Tyler, we have kept the celebrity on the other side
of that door away from you.
How are you feeling?
You know, everything's clenched, but I took a beta blocker, so I'm ready.
All right, let's do this.
Thank you, Amanda.
-See you on the other side. -I'll see you out there.
My name is Tyler Henry, and I have a rather unusual ability.
I don't exactly see dead people, but I definitely communicate with them.
I receive messages from those who've passed for those still here,
proving our loved ones never truly leave us.
I don't know who I'm going to read or what messages may come through,
but powerful revelations await from the other side.
Welcome to Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry.
The celebrities sitting behind me
and a few of their very special friends are about to get a live reading
from the world's most renowned medium, Tyler Henry.
I am Amanda Kloots.
On this show, Tyler never knows who he's going to read.
He meets them for the first time live on this stage right now.
So, let's meet Tyler.
All right, hello, everybody.
-How's it going? - Hello!
- How are you? -How you doing?
I'm Tyler.
-Harry. Nice to meet you. -Harry, wonderful to meet you.
-Hi, Tyler, I'm Chloe. -Wonderful to meet you.
-Kristian, nice to meet you. -Oh, my goodness, how are you?
-Hi, I'm Fara. Nice to meet you. -Fara, wonderful to meet you.
-Carter, good to meet you. -Carter, so beautiful.
-I love this outfit might I add. -Thank you.
-That's what I said. Hi. All right. -Thank you for having us.
And of course we have Tyler's mom with us today, please welcome Theresa...
I am so thankful to have that little woman.
She sits over there and she just observes
and occasionally she's the comedic relief.
- - We need that.
So, Tyler today we have from Netflix's Perfect Match
and Too Hot to Handle,
it's the very handsome Harry Jowsey
Harry, do you want to tell us who you brought with you today
and how you know them?
Yes. So Chloe beside me, we met on Too hot to Handle
and we've been best friends for like five years now.
-Yeah. Hi. -She's my support person. She's amazing.
She's... Yeah, one of the greatest people I know. And then Kristian.
We met on another dating show a few years ago.
-We weren't dating each other. -
But we met on this dating show
and we've just been best friends ever since.
Amazing.
And then Fara here is my COO.
-She does everything for me. - Yes.
She's more of my support human.
Uh, like, she does everything.
She knows everything about me
and she's just the greatest person on the planet.
And then there is my other beautiful best friend, Carter.
- - Gorgeous.
- Gorgeous. -You guys, stop.
This is a good-looking group, I got to say.
- - This is one of your angels.
Absolutely. Beautiful people.
Well, I'm so excited to be able to connect today
and we'll kind of see what organically comes through.
I always say, you know, I can't force it to come in as much as I just kind of
relay what's there. So, we'll go through that.
- Yeah. -Yeah, any questions before we start?
-No, I'm just so nervous. -All right. That's okay.
We'll put you all at ease. It'll be all good.
And basically my role as I scribble, is just to relay specific information,
details that are really only known between us
and the person that passed.
And generally I just as a medium have to go with the strongest
kind of current of information.
Some people come through like whitewater rapids,
others come through like a drip in a faucet.
So, I just kind of have to see where I'm organically drawn.
Uh, today, I'll kind of put my feelers out for all of you.
I just have to say, like, you have, like, a beaming effervescence about you.
-It's really interesting. -Oh, I love you.
And then you, I feel like we're gonna end up needing
to talk about something grief-related at some point,
be it today or at a later point.
But I just very much feel like there's some stuff there for you.
And then we'll kind of go all across the board.
Uh, but Harry, I do see that you have some objects here.
So, that sometimes helps me just kind of focus on who
-perhaps we can connect with. -Yeah.
So, I'd love to hold on to them.
Yeah, so I got a guardian angel
that Kristian's mom gave me ever since I left.
And then this is my biggest dream journal.
Oh, I love that. Fabulous.
I don't know if anything good will come from that. But hopefully...
Let's just see if anything comes in.
It looks like it's a magical sorcery book.
It really does.
What kind of things do you write in your dream journal?
-You're a wizard, Harry. - That's right. You are!
It does though. It looks like it's going to pop open on its own.
I have an identical copy at home and I wish I were kidding
I can show you a photo on Instagram after...
- No, are you kidding me? -Wow.
I'm gonna give that back. Because I've a bunch
that I want to talk about. So...
Harry, what do you normally write in there?
-Just all your dreams? -Just whenever I'm feeling
a little bit flat and I want to think about the bigger picture
and where I want to go in life, I just will write down the craziest dreams
and that's like a magical book
-because everything always comes true. -Wow, I love that.
It's good to set goals and have it on paper. There's real power in that.
So, I'm gonna just kind of relay
everything that comes in and we'll go from there.
So, immediately being that you have international connection.
I'm just gonna go here really fast.
I am going to talk about living people and people who've passed.
Uh, when we talk about family, immediately I want to talk about M and M.
So let me figure this out, the way this comes across.
For one, if I were to ask you what your mom's first name would be,
what would that be?
-Melanie. - Okay.
There's a situation where I have to highlight a M and then another M.
And they're bringing up this other M as well
and wanting me to include that person.
Um...
There's a number of things I want to bring up.
I need you to know that as alone as you might feel, you're not alone.
There's a very interesting feeling of needing you to know
that you're different from your family,
but in a beautiful way and that you were here to kind of...
...make for a bigger life than people ever had the opportunity
to have in the past. They were limited.
This is going to sound kind of strange, but I wonder if some of your family
was kind of limited by geography.
You know, people are kind of like stuck in a place,
like a hole that they feel they can't get out of.
I know some small towns, or at least where I grew up,
it was kind of like that, where even when people leave, they come back.
Yeah.
Would you say that that's happened within family with where you're at?
Yeah, I'm in a very small town, and my sister, Sara,
don't want to get her in trouble, but she uh...
she was texting me saying she's over being in a small town in New Zealand,
and she's trying to branch out and do something different.
Yeah.
But the other M, I'm thinking... we did lose one of my best friends growing up.
His mom, and her name was Meredith.
- Got it. - Wow.
So, that's one of the areas I want to kind of highlight,
and they are having me talk about just the past five years
and the changes that have happened there.
If I go...
Harry, were Melanie and your mom...
-Melanie and your friend's mom... - Meredith.
...Meredith. Were they really good friends? Were they...
-Best friends, yeah, growing up, so... - Oh, wow.
When I talk about your mom and your mom's side of family,
one thing that does come up is an acknowledgement of being able
to break cycles, look at behavior, change things.
And what comes through, and this is just good to keep in mind,
is on your mom's side,
they're having me talk about how we cope, how we handle,
-how cycles play into things. Um... - Mm.
And just kind of looking at that in this lifetime
and being able to look at past relatives and generations and kind of...
I don't want to say right or wrong,
but find improvement when others didn't so much have that.
Um, on your mom's side of family,
there's kind of a funny quirkiness that kind of comes through.
- Yeah. -She has a funniness.
She's a crazy girl.
I don't know if... This is just funny. Keep in mind, we talk about Mom...
check and see if there's any memories
of someone having to get down and dirty with an animal.
- - Wait, what?
Not like that, no!
Like, I'm rolling in the mud or I'm trying to capture this.
-Naughty possum! -Yeah.
We're not into this. We're not that kind of show.
-But this is more related to... - This is Netflix but...
...having to wrangle an animal,
but I feel like I'm in the dirt. I don't know how else to describe it.
Does that ring any bells?
We grew up on a farm, and my dad is from New Zealand,
so I think there's a lot of, yeah, crazy memories...
or not crazy, weird memories with sheep.
- -Yes, the wrangling.
I feel like I'm in the mud, in the dirt, it's that kind of thing.
She was kind of funny responding to that.
-Yeah. -Do you know much about his family?
No. I've never met them, no.
But I know that he talks a lot about the farm
-and the small town. -
-Yeah. - That's so sweet.
And the craziest thing was, what she just said, is like,
when I first came onto Too Hot to Handle
I called everyone naughty little possums. So I don't know if...
