DMCA and Copyright Policy

SUBDL provides search, indexing, upload, editing, translation, and download tools for subtitle files and related movie or TV metadata. We respect copyright owners and will remove or disable access to material that is properly reported as infringing.

If you are a copyright owner, an authorized agent, or a hosting/CDN abuse team forwarding a copyright complaint, please use the notice process below. This is the fastest way for us to identify the exact subtitle pages or files and take action.

Email notices to [email protected]. If that mailbox is unavailable, send a copy to [email protected].

Please include all of the following:

• Your full legal name and, if applicable, your company name.
• Your email address and a reliable way to contact you.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
• The exact SUBDL URL or URLs where the reported material appears.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a complete notice, we review the reported URLs and may remove the file, disable the page, block matching duplicate pages, restrict the uploader account, or take other moderation action. We may also forward the notice to the user who uploaded the material or to infrastructure providers when needed to resolve the report.

For urgent abuse-provider deadlines, include the provider ticket ID in your email subject so we can connect the report to the right server or CDN notice.

If your subtitle file or page was removed and you believe the complaint was mistaken or misidentified the material, you may send a counter notice to [email protected].

Please include:

• Your full legal name and contact information.
• The removed URL or enough detail for us to identify it.
• A statement explaining why you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• A statement that your counter notice is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We may decline to restore material when restoration would violate law, these terms, repeat-infringer rules, or our moderation standards.

SUBDL may suspend or terminate accounts, upload access, API access, or public listings for users who repeatedly submit infringing material. We may also keep internal records of reported titles, hashes, file IDs, and URLs to prevent removed material from being re-published.

• SUBDL does not provide movies, TV episodes, torrents, streaming links, or video files.
• A copyright notice should identify specific SUBDL URLs. Broad requests without URLs may take longer to process.
• False or abusive notices may have legal consequences. Only submit a notice if you have the authority and a good-faith basis to do so.
