at the scene of a fiery one-car collision out on the 110.

Melinda Flores of Yorba Linda.

She was severely injured, but somehow

managed to escape with her life,

thanks to the bravery of a couple of CHP officers.

The crash started a fire that then

quickly consumed the entire vehicle.

And as we see in this dramatic video,

CHP officers Mike Tilly and John Wall

risked their lives to save the single mom.

Flores was then transferred to St. Joseph's Hospital

in serious but stable condition

after suffering smoke inhalation.
