When I moved to Nashville, I got a big time record deal.

Because at that time,

if you were like in your mid 20s and under 130 pounds,

you could get a record deal no matter what.

And so I did, but I was writing all these songs

and they're like, well, that's cute, but that's not really

like the vision that we have for you.

So it took me years

to mine my way, out of those contracts,

and I finally did.

And in 2007, I put out an album called Balls.

And this got me in a lot of trouble with country radio,

which is not hard at all to do.
