Amy: Something very bad happened here.

She's talking about killing people.

I'm trying to protect my kids through all of this.

Whatever it is that's here, I think it could kill one of us.

I know that someone is gonna die.

Our fight is not with flesh and blood,

But with the powers of this dark world.

They would like to drive you insane.

Amy: This is bad.

I'm hearing "the devil's triangle.'

My name is amy allan.

I see dead people.

I think he might have been a stalker.

I speak to dead people, and they speak to me.

He will kill you. He has killed people.

But there's only one way to know if my findings are real.

They're being possessed.

I rely on my partner.

I'm steve di schiavi.

I'm a retired new york city homicide detective.

How many people have died here over the years?

And I know every person, every house has secrets.

It's my job to reveal them.

But steve and I never speak...

We never communicate during an investigation.

...Until the very end.

This sketch is like a nightmare.

When we uncover if it's safe for you to stay.

I never thought that the biggest problem was me.

Or time to get out.

He could more than likely kill you.

So, I'm back out here in toledo, ohio.

I had gotten a call from a mom named jennifer.

Now, 2 years ago, she moved her family

To what she thought would be their dream home.

Instead, they've been grabbed, scratched, smacked,

And basically terrorized.

The activity it tearing the family apart,

And jennifer says we're her last hope.

Something very, very bad happened here.

Something attracts death here.

I don't feel good. I feel scared.

I feel panic.

Steve: So, jennifer, I'm glad I'm here,

Because when we spoke on the phone,

It sounded like things were out of control here.

What's going on?

Well, we're having some pretty crazy paranormal experiences

That are really terrorizing my family.

So, I remember you told me on the phone

You guys are here about 2 years.

Is that right? Yes.

We actually bought this house sight unseen.

We fell in love with it.

No judgment here, but why the hell would you

Buy something sight unseen?

It was an overwhelming, compelling feeling of,

"you have to have this house."

But it's not the happy home that we hoped it would be.

So, do you have any information about the house

That might help my investigation?

We were told that the house was built for the first

Toledo female police officer.

We were told that she died in the home.

So, who exactly lives in the house?

I have a picture, here, for you.

This is my mother-in-law, connie...

Okay. ...And my son, kaleb.

He's 13. Right.

And then, myself, and my husband, dana,

And then, my oldest son, avery.

He's 17.

Alright. Now, is everybody experiencing stuff?

Everybody. We hear voices.

Things are constantly moving on their own.

You'll see shadow figures, and also, being physically attacked.

What kind of physical attacks?

Being punched, being pulled down or pushed on the stairs,

Being held down.

I am constantly terrified for kaleb and avery,

With the way that they're being affected

Both physically and mentally.

I'm more than terrified

That something's gonna happen to them that's irreversible.

You know, as a mom, that's got to be tough on you.

It is extremely tough.

I don't know whether to cry out of frustration, or get angry,

Because I'm trying to protect my kids through all of this,

But I have to stay strong for them.

Who's taking care of you?

Nobody.

I feel like I'm constantly stressed out.

I feel the worst guilt.

I feel like I have basically ruined my kids' childhood.

Well, hopefully we can change all that.

I hope so.

Amy: I'm seeing this guy.

He's young, probably in his 20s.

He seems more recent.

He's leaning over a person while they're awake in bed.

When they're seeing him in the bedrooms, there's a black mist.

They're awake.

At times, they're hearing something so close to them,

Breathing on them, and whispering in their ear.

It's a feeling, a constant feeling of darkness

And oppression.

Obviously, they're feeling watched all the time.

I got two living people are the most affected,

And it seems like it's two females.

Okay, jennifer, so, what's going on in this area?

When I'm in this part of the house, I feel watched.

Describe the feeling to me.

Kind of feels like the energy of an angry male

Just watching you very intensely.

It makes you want to leave the room,

Because it's so negative.

Are you feeling it now?

Yeah, I do.

Anything else?

There's actually a black mist

That likes to hang out on this first level.

Sometimes, it has the shape of a man.

Sometimes, it's like if you lit a candle, and you blew it out,

And it's just that kind of smoky, wispy mist.

But it's definitely black.

Okay.

This young guy, he watches.

So, he's watching everything.

He's watching everybody.

One of the ways that he does this

Is from the mirrors, in particular.

The living, I believe, have seen this.

They literally see a person is right there in --

Like, a person's face.

So, they're seeing that out of the corner of their eyes.

Once they get up the nerve to face it, again, gone.

Man: Do you have any idea why he's doing this?

He wants the living to leave.

Steve: Alright. So, what's going on in here?

Many times, we've been laying in bed.

I'll look over, and the door will open on its own.

The door coming into the bedroom?

Yes. Alright.

So, do you keep this locked at night, or closed?

We do.

Closes pretty good.

Mm-hmm.

Alright. So, the first thing in my head is,

Are the kids playing around with you?

Right. So, I'd gotten out of bed to go check,

And the kids are sound asleep in their beds.

Amy: There's something bad, man.

There's something **** bad here.

It's a dead little boy.

This one kid, in particular, can manipulate his surroundings --

Move things, open and close doors, move objects,

**** like that.

The one smiled, and it just had really sharp, long teeth.

He's evil.

I don't know if he would ever really kill anybody,

But it's a possibility.

He would be more than capable.

So, jennifer, with all this stuff going on,

How the hell are you getting any sleep at night?

I don't sleep very well at night.

When I do sleep, it's awful nightmares.

Describe the night terrors for me.

It always involves my kids, or my husband,

And I'm watching something terrible happen to them.

And I'm trying to reach them,

And I just can't get them in time.

It's no wonder you can't get any sleep.

Exactly.

If amy turns around, and says, "you got to go,"

How are you gonna handle that?

It's not gonna be easy.

It's gonna be absolutely devastating for us to hear.

We want to fight to stay here.

We don't want to just up and leave the house

Without actually giving it a fair shot.

I'm seeing this woman.

The dead boy is torturing her.

This person has no rest -- an onslaught of nightmares.

Man: Do you know why they're targeting this person?

They were just born bad.

They were born evil.

I'm pretty sure that they would like her to kill herself.

Now, as far as experiences, have you had any?

Yes. I was in this room...

Okay.

...And I thought I heard a woman or a child crying.

Okay. Was there any televisions

On in the house, anything like that?

No tvs on in the house. Nobody was home.

Alright. Anything else?

Numerous nights, I'm lying in my bed, still awake,

And I feel something climb up on the bed,

And then, it feels like someone is walking alongside my body.

How often is that happening?

Several nights in a week.
