My name is adam ellis.

In 2017, I captured the image of a ghost child in my apartment.

In a state of pure fear,

I decided to document my haunting on social media.

14 million people witnessed my terror

In real time.

Now I'm on a mission to help others escape their nightmares,

And my friends have agreed to join me.

Jen lewis will help research and document our journey.

Yeah. This woman, laurel,

Got in touch with me about her parents' house.

Her mother has a therapy practice in the house.

She does massage and reiki and all these different things.

- She's an energy healer. - Okay.

And she can't be bringing in people and trying to help them

If it's not a safe space.

No, that is bad for business.

Laurel is really concerned about her parents, and...

Laurel, thanks for reaching out to us.

Thanks for coming.

Can you guys tell us the history of the house

And what kind of things you've been experiencing?

This was built in 1903 by o.P. Pyle and his wife, suzie pyle,

And then it was later purchased by the tharp family,

Who had it for 50 years.

And then your family bought the house?

Yeah, and we've had a number of experiences here in this house,

But the most recent activity was the carriage house.

Yeah, there's a quite a bit activity over there, as well.

Let's take a walk-through.

This is the library.

It was the main workplace of mr. Tharp.

He was a very notable attorney.

This was basically his place of work,

And it ended up being the place of his death.

- Here in this room? - Here in this room.

- Did he die of natural causes? - Yes.

This room was always my bedroom from the time

I was about 12 years old, and multiple times

There has been figures looking out these windows.

We do have a photograph

Of a skeleton figure looking out these windows.

- Wow. - Yeah, we've seen that photo.

We plan on analyzing it, too.

If you'd be so kind to show us the carriage house.

Absolutely.

The house sits on the graveyard,

And it's recorded that about 500 people are buried.

In this pasture are unmarked graves.

We attribute some of the activity to that.

Where did you get the idea that there's a demon here?

One medium, she felt a demon called

Bosman in the carriage house.

This is where a majority of the activity is.

Let's go upstairs first.

Around 2010, I moved in for 2 years.

I was taking a shower.

I have both hands on each side of my head,

And I feel a third hand reach up just like this.

I feel all five fingers, and I jump out.

That was the scariest thing I've experienced.

- That's weird. - I can't even imagine.

I really don't know to this day what it was.

I believe it was a spirit passing through.

The photograph of the demon was against that door.

It was definitely a nonhuman entity.

And at night, she would hear heavy boot steps...

...Around her bed, and they would pace her bed

All the way around.

We've had one medium that her explanation of this

Was that bosman,

He's bringing up soul after soul after soul after soul,

And I said, "how many spirits do you feel?"

They feel hundreds and hundreds,

But that is consistent with the stories of the many people

Who are buried underneath.

Whatever this negative entity is...

What she's saying is they're coming out of the ground,

And they're being forced into this house?

Forced into this space.

Why do you think that is?

We don't know. We don't know.

One thing I also wanted to mention...

Okay. I'm sorry.

Something just touched me.

Is that the first time it's happened to you?

It's the first time it's happened to me.

It was very strong.

There was nothing subtle about it.

It felt like hands just...

The fact that you just experienced something,

Do you think that's because of us?

Do you think our presence is sort of riling something up?

I know that bos loves attention.

He loves attention. - Yeah.

Do you think bos mostly likes to mess with women?

- Absolutely, yes. - Absolutely.

I would say so.

There's a lot going on here.

Especially out here, there's, like, an oppressive energy

That is actually kind of getting to me a little bit.

I'd like to go back to the house.

So is there anything that we haven't heard about?

There was one incident that was particularly disturbing to me.

I had a guest over, and out of nowhere, her face changed.

Her eyes changed, and out of her voice

Was the most horrible, gravely growl

I have ever heard in my life.

And all I knew to do was just to hold her.

First thing that came out of her mouth was,

"you can't have her because she's mine."

Laurel said there was over 100 spirits and possibly a demon.

One medium felt a demon called bosman in the carriage house.

I had a guest over. Her face changed.

First thing that came out of her mouth,

"you can't have her because she's mine."

She began flailing around,

And I thought she was going to bite me,

And I began to shout, "in god's name, leave her now!"

She just jerked.

Her body relaxed, and she was unconscious.

And she woke up.

She never remembered a thing.

Where -- where did that happen?

It was in the living room of the top level of the cottage.

Yeah. - Wow.

- The carriage house. - I have head-to-toe chills.

Yeah.

I can't allow that to ever happen

To anybody ever, ever again.

This is your life and your livelihood,

And you know, we're going to do

Whatever we can to make sure that presence vacates,

And if we can't, then we're going to find someone who can.

- For sure. - We appreciate it.

I have the photos that heidi mentioned.

When I'm not hanging out with you,

I am a graphic designer.

I spend all my time in photoshop.

I'm pretty good at telling when things have been doctored.

This one, it's an image in the window of, like,

A skeletal man in the window,

And so this one I took into photoshop

To mess with the brightness.

That's the lamp in that window here.

- That is a lamp. - Yeah, that's a lamp.

I think this is a classic case of pareidolia

Or matrixing where human eye is trained to just find a face.

Like, when you look at a cloud, you'll see, like,

"there's something in there."

I remember when I had my haunting online,

People were going through all of my photos

And going into the backgrounds

And like, trying to pick out faces,

And being, like, "I see this. I see this."

Is that the demon photo?

That's the one we thought was a demon?

It does look like a demon. He's got pointy ears.

Like, that does very much look like a demon face.

Yeah, I don't think these have been doctored.

I don't know. That -- I can't explain it.

I don't know if we're going to figure this one out right now.

It came from the carriage house?

Yes.

So I think we need to really focus our energies

On whatever is in the carriage house

Because that's what they think is a demon,
