- First Carlsville schoolhouse was built

on one acre of private land in 1868.

All future Carlsville schools for almost 100 years

would be built right here on this same tract of land.

In 1894, at a special meeting,

it was decided that a new framed construction

and one room schoolhouse not less than 24 feet by 40 feet,

would be built.

In 1919 a new two room school was built

and it still stands today.

And the school closed for good in 1965.

The 1919 version of the building

still stands today as the entry

to the Door Peninsula Winery

and Door County distillery.

So in the middle of proving that,

we got a voice that came through

and it was really interesting what we got.

that means it's man made.

One of the thoughts is that areas

that have high levels of EMF

that the EMF actually fuels entities

to be able to manifest or move things,

or communicate with us.

There's nothing scientific

that actually backs that up.

It's kind of a thought process.

it'll just be gone in another area.

We talked to the staff at the winery,

and they had some interesting insight

as to what happened there.

I feel like when we're here,

they tend to leave us alone, so I don't know.

Why do you think that is?

or yelled at something, something would happen.

And our manager was frustrated, and she was like,

"This dang printer," and then all of a sudden

there was a bottle of cleaner behind it

just came flying over it.

And then the printer worked, so...

is establish like an intelligence.

When the flashlight moved,

the first thing that went through my mind was

what was I touching on the desk?

Where was my foot, where was my hand?

How was I positioned?

Nothing was touching the desk,

and I absolutely freaked out

because Angela wasn't anywhere near it

and I've no idea what moved that flashlight.

It's such a weird experience

when you have something move on its own accord,

and you don't know exactly what did it.

I was there, and I still question,

did that really happen?

Even though I know it did.

If anything the angle of the desk goes that way.

So it should've actually rolled in the other direction.
