About strange stuff going on.

We seen a guy near the park

Just vanish into thin air!

Looked like a priest, but he wasn't no real priest.

I feel this presence every time I sleep.

- You'll see a man in the window. - He could be a priest.

He went clean through the walls.

He was moving, straight off of my porch!

I have an officer en route.

I've been workin' for the morgan city police department

34 years.

In recent weeks,

My department has been overrun

With reports of strange and unusual activity

That we just can't explain.

The people down here

Are lookin' for answers, so we're gonna try something

That we've never tried before.

Paranormal investigators in the country.

Is there a negative entity here?

If this paranormal team can't figure out

we're in a lot of trouble.

In the last 24 hours,

The number of ghost sightings in morgan city

Has actually increased.

People are so scared,

We set up an emergency town hall meeting.

Been throughout this entire parish all my life,

And I've never seen this type of paranormal activity at all.

In paranormal activity here in morgan city,

But they're working hand-in-hand with a paranormal team,

What we have to face to get rid of these hauntings

I've been in the front lobby at city hall,

And there was a guy who came down the stairs,

Just went clean through the wall.

He had on, like, a black robe.

Maybe looked like a priest or something like that.

But I was just scared.

Now, you said specifically the clothing was a dark robe?

Dark robe. Yeah.

I mean, it just kind of remind me of that.

Now, this is not the first time that we've dealt

With a priest or a minister.

I'd seen this guy... like, a priest or a minister-type guy.

And I'm willing to bet it's the same priest

That's been seen at the archive building

And the same priest that patrice seen.

The description of a mysterious person

Dressed in a black robe is puzzling us.

It would be easy for us to find that person

If he was real and arrest him, but we can't do that.

My dad texted me, and the strange thing about that

Is my dad died in 2008.

And his phone is, I'm assuming, not active?

There's not a phone connected to the number.

So, that was really, really strange.

Caller advised that they could hear a woman screaming.

When they got to the residence, it all stopped.

Couldn't find anything.

I have a friend who works in the old bank building,

And she says she sees an apparition of a man

In period dress like '20s or '30s style.

Okay. On that note...

Has anyone else seen an apparition

Of a man in black downtown?

Wow. Okay.

I have never, in all of my years

Of being a paranormal investigator,

Seen so many people who have reported

Seeing not only an apparition,

But possibly the same apparition.

We do believe that this man in black

May be linked to the overall spike in activity

Here in the community, and I can tell you this,

That we will do everything in our power

A lot of people in town are genuinely scared,

That maybe there's an effect of kind of mass hysteria,

That people are thinking they're seeing things

Because it's being talked about.

But these are very detailed sightings,

And a lot of them are corroborating with each other.

We just have to figure out

Who exactly this man in black is.

During last night's investigation

Of our own headquarters building,

We were definitely communicating with a spirit.

Now, we think that this spirit, this male apparition

May be the same spirit everyone else is seeing.

Are we thinking that he might be the other figure

You know, when I felt two figures,

I felt one that was more prideful

And one that was much more solemn kind.

Here is why I'm so leery.

The black-and-white clothing that you describe

Matches multiple religions.

Prior to the mid-1900s,

There were no clergy that were residents of morgan city.

So, a large number of priests

Even from other states,

Especially during traumatic times like wars,

Epidemics, particularly the yellow fever epidemic.

That's interesting because I just kept hearing in my head,

Something happened to me that really freaked me out

My sheets was violently torn off of me.

I felt a male presence standing by my bed,

And I felt a cold chill run through my body.

I run out of the room, and I went into the front room,

And I just stayed up there.
