Our country was under Japanese occupation for 35 years.

For 5,000 years of Korean history,

it had never allowed any country to rule over it.

and kept vengeance in their hearts.

Then something happened that divided the Japanese colonial era in half.

That is the March 1st Movement.

The March 1st Movement didn't include any violence.

It was a peaceful protest...

which was nonviolent, rightful, and orderly.

That's how we should describe it.

They didn't predict what it'd lead to,

but the March 1st Movement...

kindled the entire country that it lasted for two months.

The movement lasted within the country for two months...
