The first 181 lines.
Eight hours to go!
Arggh!
It's chaos.
Holy heck!
What the... brick?
This is insanity.
For over 70 years,
the humble brick has been turning imagination into reality.
Last year, we saw what it takes to be a master.
Now, with the bar set very high,
will a new generation of Brickheads
have what it takes to do the impossible?
Got competitive fast. It did.
Eight new LEGO teams are on a mission
to claim the title and the $100,000 prize.
This is season two. We're here.
We want to go as big as we can.
We are the team to beat.
We like to be creative and out there.
I'll be a good runner.
That's not true. I can't run. I'm a terrible runner.
They'll face new challenges.
How are we gonna do this? Oh, dear.
This is gonna push us.
New destruction. Boom!
Pow! This is awesome.
And more underwater challenges than any other show on television.
Tick, tick, tick.
I'm glad I shaved my underarms.
The good news - my mum's favourite host is back.
Would I be right in saying that? Definitely.
And in the judge's chair,
the undisputed lord of LEGO building.
Ohhh! Brickman.
One chance, one shot. Good luck.
Go!
If we lose it, we're going home.
There's no room for error. It's high stakes.
You are seriously running out of time.
Can we just put it on? No!
It's kind of overwhelming. Pump up the volume!
Return to our world of wonder,
where creations defy belief.
Spoiler alert. They can build LEGO.
It's just like... Pew, pew!
Zoom!
Yee-haw!
The search begins for Australia's next LEGO Masters.
I've never, in my life, seen anything like this before.
That's awesome.
OK, we are rolling. Here we go, gentlemen!
Oh, my god, oh, my god!
Holy cow!
Two, one! Ready? Go!
Holy cow! This is epic!
Come on in. Come on in. How is everybody?
Andrew! Andrew!
No, don't come all the way in.
Come in to the predetermined distance.
Wow.
We have been playing with LEGO all of our lives,
and we have never expected that there would be a show
that would say, "Hey, we want people like you to build it on TV."
Well, guys, officially, welcome to LEGO Masters season two.
The sequel. You made it.
Well done!
Look, so exciting to have you guys here.
We have got 16 of Australia's greatest LEGO builders in this room.
Season two - a lot of stuff is gonna be the same,
but a lot of stuff is gonna be different.
It's the sequel. You gotta twist things up.
You gotta make it bigger and better.
But one thing that is the same, that I'm very excited about,
is this man right here -
one of only 14 certified LEGO professionals in the world.
He's got LEGO exhibitions in 20 countries.
Brickman!
So, welcome to LEGO Masters.
Two of you are going to be Australia's next LEGO Masters.
It's your mission to make the most incredible LEGO models
that anyone has ever seen,
and I, for one, and probably two, cannot wait to see them.
Thank you.
Guys, look, on behalf of Australia,
we're very pumped to see what you guys will do.
Some things will be the same, some things will be different.
Last season, teams were competing
for the title of LEGO Masters and $100,000.
This season, you'll be competing for the title of LEGO Masters -
and $100,000.
As I said, some things will absolutely be the same.
Some things are gonna be the same, some things are gonna be different.
To be dubbed the champions of LEGO Masters series two
would be amazing.
We really want it. Do we want it?
God, yeah! We want it.
The ultimate badge of honour.
The ultimate badge of honour! Yeah, ultimate.
And $100,000 to help pay off our student debt.
Today you are playing for something very, very big.
We're gonna kick things off straight away,
and what you're playing for
is coming through that door behind you.
Here it is!
What have we here?
It's smoking.
It's smoking? It's smoking!
Wow!
What is it?
Admittedly, so far, exactly the same as last year,
however, soon something may be different.
Maybe.
Who is this mysterious creature?
It's Jordy! It's Jordy from season one!
Hey, everybody.
So, different! Different.
Tick!
But as requested, Jordy, you have brought me something.
I have, Hamish. Thank you.
You guys wanna see what's in here? Yes.
Oooh!
'Oooh' is correct.
There she is. Hello, darling.
You never get sick of seeing her.
You don't, really.
Contestants, you know what this is. Yes.
The most sacred piece of LEGO on the planet.
Behold, in real life, the Golden Brick!
As you know, the Golden Brick can keep you safe from an elimination -
in this show only.
Doesn't work in other shows.
But a very, very powerful thing to have.
However, I promised different.
What else do we have in here?
Something else?
Something else is correct.
It's not the Golden Brick. It's another brick!
Another brick.
What power does this other brick hold?
Let me explain.
It's a well-known fact that on LEGO Masters,
running to and from your bench to the brick pit
is the biggest time sucker on the show.
No man in the show's history
has covered the ground faster than Jordy.
If you win this brick, for one build,
you can have Jordy run from your bench to the brick pit,
saving you potentially hundreds of hours of time.
It's the Flash Jordan Brick!
Is it bad that I want the Flash Jordan Brick
so we can just hang out with Jordan?
Today, if you win the Golden Brick,
you also with the Flash Jordan Brick.
They can be played separately, but I will now join them together,
and we'll put a little special effect in here when it goes on TV.
Watch this.
Ahh! The Mega Brick!
You will win the Mega Brick today.
Jordy, would you like to show the contestants
what they're playing for?
You know it.
I thought you guys might like to see this in real life.
You might have seen it on TV, but...
Are you ready, champ? Of course.
Go!
Look at that! Look at that speed! It could be yours!
Look at him go - and he's just warming up.
Just warming up.
Jordy, great job! Look...
OK, well, you now have the ability to win a limping man
going to and from the brick pit for you,
as he broke his ankle on the way out.
The Golden Brick, plus the Flash Jordan Brick.
That is what you're playing for today,
but to win this, obviously you gotta build something fairly incredible.
Would you like to see what the first build is?
Yes!
Alright, come with us. Go!
Come on down.
Come on in.
Let there be light.
