- Things are different. - And now we just have to figure out
- how to live with how things are. - When did you start selling chocolates?
When I decided I wanted to be known as someone
who sells something other than flowers.
- Did you find the place? - Yeah. Thanks to you.
He ended up buying it, and he's moving here.
You can eat out in the garden, if you'd like.
Here you go. Enjoy.
- Oh, hey. Good morning. - Morning.
Hey, um, you can help yourself to some breakfast.
- Well, thanks for inviting us. - Sure.
I have to say, this definitely beats the cold cereal and toast
- Sam was offering me next door. - It's always worth the trip.
- Fruits? And yogurt? - When did you start eating that?
It's because of her.
So you've made some improvements on this guy, huh?
Sam's been good for me, too.
Oh, Liam, uh, you were asking if we had any rooms available here.
After check out, there's going to be two.
That's how many we need.
So, you're moving to Grey House?
Only until we can find a place of our own.
- Well, there goes the neighborhood. - Good morning, Nick.
Hey, uh, Dad said breakfast was here today?
You can take it to go, if you'd like.
And there's some fruit, unless Sam ate it all.
I will take whatever he left.
So, when's Noah getting here?
- Tonight. - Noah's moving here, too?
Yeah, he's looking forward to seeing you.
Thank you for breakfast.
- I'll see you later. - Ooh, pineapple!
Excuse me, you probably don't remember me, but...
Oh, you were in my store last summer.
- Yes, I was! - Did your parents like
the atlas you got them for their anniversary?
You remember that, too!
My cousin remembers a lot of things.
Well, I pay attention, that's all.
Your mom and dad seemed
like they were ready to travel the world.
Yeah, except we didn't even know they wanted to do that,
so how did you?
Well, something you said must have started me thinking.
Thanks again. I'm sorry to have interrupted.
- That's okay. - Bye!
You're very popular today.
Yoo-hoo, Cassie!
Here comes another one of your fans.
Martha. How are you, Tom?
Just trying to keep up with this one.
Cassie, your suggestion to take an evening stroll together
each night was excellent advice for this long term marriage.
- The fresh air's been nice. - We've had some good talks.
Now, I know you hear this all the time
but I just wanted to say it myself, as well:
you are an absolute treasure.
Well, you keep walking and talking.
We'll do both. Ta-ta!
- Oh, Abigail. - Hi.
Nice to see you, too.
But I'm sure that everything was in compliance...
- Except everything was not. - But I expect
- it will by the time I come back. - I'll make sure that it is.
- Good. - Who was that?
A new health inspector.
The regular one always said that everything about the Bistro
was perfect. But this new guy
just waltzes in here, citing me for like,
how far the dish towels are hanging off the rack.
- Is that an infraction? - No, but he wrote it down anyway!
And he said he'd be back all week for surprise inspections.
- Don't let it get you stressed. - Just relax and know
that you don't have to be shaken by unexpected things.
Thanks. You always seem
to know exactly the right thing to say.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some dish towels to adjust.
- How do you do that? - What?
Care about people's problems so much?
A lot of the people here were customers in my shop.
So that means that if I were selling
the right thing at my store, they'd all want to talk to me?
It certainly would get you noticed more.
Yes, it would.
- Hi. - Hi.
- It'll look great in my store. - Then it's on the house.
- Oh? - A "thank you" for the idea
- you gave me. - Which idea is that?
- I've got a new product today. - Do you want to try one?
No, thanks. You should save those for people
- that need them the most. - Hmm!
- Thank you. - You're welcome.
- Stephanie. - Hi.
Can I help you?
- Yeah. I need to exchange this. - It's just a little too big.
I've got lots of others.
- Um, actually, you know what? - I'm just gonna get a refund
and come back and choose something when
- I'm a little less frazzled. - Why are you frazzled?
That health inspector.
I'm just... I'm so on edge, knowing he could
come back at any minute and be all,
"Fix this or change that!"
Maybe you need something
soothing to keep your mind off of all that.
- You know what. - That's a really good idea.
I think I'm gonna stop off at Cassie's and see
if she has any relaxing oils or scented candles.
You know, there are things that I sell
that are as good as anything at the Bell, Book and Candle.
- Like what? - I am so glad you asked.
I just got these chocolates in from Venezuela.
They're quite unique, and I individually wrapped
each one to give them my own special flair.
Well, I just don't even know
what to change before that inspector comes back.
Mmm. These are good.
I mean, he just keeps marking down violations
and saying, "rules are rules,"
but he won't tell me which rules I'm breaking.
The only rule you should be thinking about right now
is this; relax, and enjoy.
That's true.
I can relax because I am following the rules.
And I can prove it.
You know, these are so good. Can I get a whole box?
I'll get you one.
You should get some of these ones. They're fantastic.
They're individually wrapped, with my own special flair.
They might even help with your problems.
Mm. I know they helped mine!
Mm. Thanks!
Ladies! You're shopping for anything in particular?
- Oh. Abigail. - No, not really.
I just stopped to see what caught Tara's eye.
Oh, I'm just window shopping, that's all.
Well, have you heard what I started selling at my shop?
- No. - The finest handcrafted chocolates,
each with that Abigail Pershing touch.
- They sound wonderful. - Mhm.
I bet both your husbands would love them.
You know, what an interesting idea.
Tom used to buy me chocolates but I don't think
- I ever bought any for him. - You should come see me then!
I will. I'll stop by later today and pick up a box.
And I'll come get some for Brandon, too.
Great.
They say that chocolates can be a great conversation starter.
Yes, it can be.
You know, Abigail, I'm so very glad that we ran into you today.
You're just bursting with good ideas.
- Almost like Cassie herself. - Hm!
- What's going on? - I'm here for an inspection.
But you were just here this morning.
And I came back. Unannounced.
Huh. You know I am so glad that you did,
because I remembered that I have the regulations book right here.
Every single rule in this book
I have followed exactly. So you can either tell me
that this book is wrong, or you can let me
get back to running my restaurant.
- I don't have to see that. - I went away and looked
at the past reports and they're all perfect.
Just like things are now. So I'll let your rating stand.
- Just like that? - Well, you convinced me.
What happened?
Huh? Oh, I just...
I didn't know how I was going to handle that guy
if I saw him again, but it seems that the perfect words
just came to me at exactly the right moment.
Hm. Maybe it was something in those chocolates.
There're practically enough instruments
- to start a whole band. - You never know what kind
of useful things you're gonna find in that attic.
When did you want to get this over to donate to the school?
Oh, I, uh, I told Mrs. Grandstaff
that I would drop them off tomorrow afternoon.
Oh, well then they can stay here 'til then.
It is so good to be home!
Rough day at the flower shop?
Those chocolates I started selling had customers
coming in and out of my store all day.
A lot more people to pay attention to.
Yes, and I can hardly handle all this new business by myself.
Do you have any time after school tomorrow? I can pay you.
Oh, I promised that I would drop those off at the band room.
Well, they're okay where they are for another day or two.
- Then I guess I'm free. - Great. You're hired.
Wait, that was probably the fastest job interview I will ever have.
It was an easy decision; you're related to the boss!
Thank you for letting me borrow your daughter.
I think it's gonna be very helpful for you to have Grace there.
Yeah. But don't think I'm gonna go easy on you
just because we're related. I'll probably go easy on you.
- How could you not? - We're related!
You want to get something to eat?
- If you want. - Where do you want to go?
Oh, you can pick a place.
- Hey. - Hey!
