The first 200 lines.
Janice: Jacob!
Jacob!
Jacob!
Jacob, baby, wake up!
Jacob! Jacob!
Jacob! Jacob!
Ben: Janice! Janice!
Get back! Get back! Get back!
Help! Somebody!
Jacob!
-I got him, honey. I got him. -Okay. Come on, come on.
Come on.
-Grab his head. Grab his head. -I got it. I got it. Okay.
Okay. Okay. Okay.
-I got it. I got him. I got him. -Okay.
-Hey, baby. Baby. Hey. -Jacob. Jacob.
Hey. Mommy's here. Wake up. Come on.
After last night's events,
I thought we should eat in,
avoid the attention.
Maybe we should go.
Where? Um, hiking after breakfast?
I mean, anything you want to do, we can do.
If you want to learn how to play golf...
I want to go home. Back to Augusta.
This has not been fun. Jacob --
-I-I know it was scary, but you got the wind chimes
installed, and I'm making sure
that there's a ranger patrolling the lake at night.
It's not just that.
Ben, it's everything.
This has literally been the worst vacation of my life.
I've only been on one honeymoon, but I'm pretty sure
it's not supposed to feel like this.
This -- This place is weird. And stressful.
There is something happening...
that I don't understand.
And I gotta get out of here before I lose my mind.
Alright. I got you. Whatever.
Okay.
I'm gonna go get the kids for breakfast.
Alright.
Knock, knock.
Hey.
Um, I kind of just wanted to check on you,
see how you're doing.
I mean, do you need anything?
-No. No. I'm good. -Are you sure?
Because, I mean, it's okay if you're not okay.
We were all pretty worried about you.
Uh, nah. When I was under the water,
I wasn't afraid.
Really? Really.
I mean, I've had some pretty weird experiences,
but I was kind of scared.
Really? What is it?
Okay. If I tell you something,
you promise not to tell anyone?
Pinky swear.
I took an edible.
-Edible?! Like marijuana?! -Okay. Shh. Hey! Hey!
Oh, my gosh, Jacob! It was just one, okay?
It was really bad. So don't ever do it, okay?
Okay.
The point is, when I ate it...
I looked in the mirror and I saw this girl.
And she looked exactly like me.
Except it wasn't me. I was so freaked.
I mean, I didn't know what to do.
It felt like she wanted to ask me something
or that she needed help.
What?!
Yeah.
That's -- That's scary.
Almost as scary as when
something pulled me into that closet.
Okay, but that was just your sleepwalking.
No. Something was pulling me.
-Jacob. -I'm telling you.
It was some wrinkly old Black man's hand.
And the lake was different. I --
Hey. You guys ready to eat?
-Uh, yes, ma'am. -Yes, ma'am.
We're ready.
Honey, slow down.
I'm pretty sure you need to chew your food.
I am, Mom.
Well, I think this is the perfect breakfast
for our last day.
-Wait. Last day? -Yeah.
-What do you mean? -I don't want to leave.
Well, Ben and I were talking,
and, you know, with everything that has happened...
Mom. No way.
First, you forced us to come here,
and now you're gonna make us leave?
Are you seriously questioning me on this
when you just pulled that crazy stunt the other night?
Why do you suddenly want to stay? I don't think so.
-Okay. L-Let's all just calm down, okay?
Your mom and I just want to keep you two safe.
Then we should stay.
-Ma, I wanna learn how to swim. -What?
And I was thinking Ben could teach me.
No, Jacob. I-I don't know about that.
I do. Look, Mom. I know I can do it.
That is, if Ben's willing.
I...
What's with all the wind chimes on the doors?
Well, um, just in case you sleepwalk again.
Honey, we just wanted to take precautions.
Oh, my God. Y'all rigged the house?!
Seriously?!
-Honey. -I'm not a freaking baby, Mom!
Son!
I'll get it.
-Good morning, ma'am. -Morning.
We're just stopping by to make sure everything's okay.
Oh. That's very thoughtful.
Um, yeah, we are all good this morning. Thank you.
And thank the officers again last night for their kindness.
We're actually here on another matter.
Seems to have been a disappearance
of this young lady here.
-Oh, my goodness. What happened? -Apparently, she went missing
while doing an Instagram Live from the woods.
Is that what all of that ruckus was about
last night in the dining room?
Do you know her?
Uh -- I mean, this is -- this is disturbing.
We -- We met her, but we don't really know her.
See? Look. That's it. We are getting out of here today.
Well, I'm sorry, ma'am. That actually won't be an option.
We've declared a full lockdown on Lake Levi.
No one will be entering or leaving the premises
until further notice.
Um, what?
You can move around the grounds, enjoy the facilities.
We will be imposing a curfew.
We just ask that you stay together as a unit.
No one needs to go around at night alone, especially...
Black women?
We appreciate your cooperation, ma'am.
-Mm-hmm. -Your safety's
our number-one concern. -Hm.
Y'all have a nice day.
Sarah, did you know about this?
Um, not really.
I mean, I saw something about it on my phone, sure.
And you didn't think to tell me
about the disappearance of a Black woman?
Okay. I forgot.
There was a lot going on with Aquaman last night.
Don't put this on me. -Okay. You know what? Whew!
The second -- and I mean the second --
we can get out of this damn plantation, we are leaving.
Okay, well, I want to go to the arcade.
Did you not just hear what I said?!
This sucks.
Oh, Jesus.
What do you want from me...
My dear...
As I started preparing these videos,
I began to reminisce of our brief time spent together.
I questioned, how much do you really remember
if you even remember me at all?
My beloved wife, your grandmother, died
when your mother was but a child.
Raising a young, fiery Black girl alone wasn't easy.
Your mother and I clashed frequently.
She rebelled
and refuted the knowledge I tried to pour into her.
She dismissed me as a madman
with delusional grandeur.
As a child of God,
abundance is your birthright.
Not struggle. Not poverty.
Not mediocrity.
But abundance.
Increase.
And territory is yours.
It's your gift.
But...just because it's your gift,
that doesn't mean you don't have to fight.
You will be fighting for the rest of your life.
The enemy's job is to take it from you.
And your job is to fight to attain it.
Then fight to maintain it, baby girl.
But you must always be prepared for the good fight.
I know there's times
that you feel that your head
is barely above water.
But I need you to swim...
...and push through.
Block out the distractions.
Block out the fears.
Be still!
And listen.
Ben: Hon! Have you seen my swimming trunks?!
Yeah! Um...
