Getting ready for this I wondered about a lot of things

I wonder what it would be like to perform for 70,000 people

I wonder what it would look like

If they were all lit up and just dancing around like no one was watching them

I wonder what would happen if I invited the most amazing artists in the world

To come out with me and perform on my stage

But we begin our story in New York !

BLANK SPACE is one of my favorite moments in the show every night

Because this song is essentially about a girl who comes off incredibly charming and is very seductive

And pulls people into her world, and then she precedes to just go absolutely Psycho

We wanted to kind of replicate the video and we wanted it to be a perfomance show casing me and all

These supposide ex-lovers who I've terrorized and ruined and

um become absolutely obsessed with, and we wanted to watch that play out on stage

The media kind of got unboard with this idea a couple years ago that I'm just a player and

I'm serial dater And I just am constantly dating for sport

So when I wrote Blank Space I just thought, all right if they want to play this character,if they want to paint this picture

Of this girl who's just picking up men left and right and you know...

This whole imagery of this jet setting I'm tragic mess that I apparently am

Cool I'll write a song from that perspective and see how you like it, and it ended up of being the biggest song I've ever had
