The first 48 lines.
I am The Mountain.
It is the Cretaceous,
long before you humans walked this Earth.
It is a time of high drama.
The Cretaceous Age is the climax of this mighty world.
I, The Mountain,
am Lord of all I survey.
I maintain the traditions
and the balance of life.
Life is hard.
The world is hard,
and only the strong survive.
But strength is not only
in tooth and claw and horn,
but in family and the bonds of herd and clan.
There are many different herds.
The herds need tending to keep them healthy and strong.
For that, I have the Mighty Shepherds.
The Tyrannosaurus,
Kings of this age,
Kings of all ages,
my clan,
the Angry Mountain Clan,
tend to my herds.
They are my Mighty Shepherds.
Keeping my herds healthy
by weeding out the weak and the sick.
Thus, ensuring that the clans' maintain
their family bonds and thus their strength.
The family is the strength of the herd
and of the shepherd alike.
Enough!
This shall not be!
Through pride you have disrupted the family
and the clan.
You shall not add to your crime.
This shall not be!
Let this be an end to strife.
The strength of the herds,
the strength of the clan is in family.
Without these ties,
all will wither and fail.
Pride must not rule.
This cannot be.
My clan cannot be divided.
Now as the cold sets in,
it's time to move South, my herds.
It's time to move South, my herds.
