The first 200 lines.

Yeah, what am I gonna feed my kids this weekend?

Don't think that I don't feel bad.

Local boat, Little Shell.

We got a picture of our kids up there to remind us why we push so hard.

Is fighting hard to ensure this season's success.

There he is! There he is! Got him on! Oh, (bleep).

Get the other gaff, quick!

And as the northern boats' luck improves.

That's him, baby! That's him. Yeah. Woo!

All right! Woo!

Woo!

Every roll of the dice.

Push it forward! Push it forward!

Throw the dart! Throw it! Throw it! Throw it! Throw it!

Has consequences.

Hold on! Holy (bleep). Woo!

Hashtag, the struggle is real. This is...

Rough as hell. Hold on! Got him everywhere!

How did I miss it! Woo!

Wicked Tuna Outer Banks.

If we hook a giraffe, can go we in?

Last season's champion Reels Of Fortune is clinging to the top spot with local boat

Little Shell and northerner Hot Tuna right behind them.

And southern boat Foolish Pleasures has yet to catch a single bluefin.

Little Shell outbound!

We got Nick's daughter, Gwen.

Got Brandan's daughter Miss London.

And I got three boys.

We got a picture of our kids up there to remind us why we push so hard.

It's very hard on the family of a fisherman.

Not only are you gone a lot, your paycheck is not guaranteed.

They worry.

I don't know of a fisherman's wife that doesn't worry.

Hard on the young'uns when we're away.

With one fish a day, we got to capitalize on them every day to try to put

fish on the boat because we all got mouths to feed.

Got to roll the dice.

We're the first ones out of the creek here.

I like to leave early. I like to be first. There's a small quota.

And on top of that we got all these northern boats down here trying to get a little piece of it.

Some of them boys I think are leaving behind us.

Well, better hurry up!

Give 'em hell, Little Shell!

Couple boats ahead of us. Little Shell,

trying to be the first ones to the bridge, the first ones to the Bar,

they just want to be like, in charge.

Some of these southern guys aren't too happy about us northern boats coming down here

and fishing on their smaller quota.

Bottom line, there's bluefin here and there's quota to catch, so I'm here to get my share.

Got to remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

We've been running this marathon for a long time.

Let's go fishing today, bud.

Coming up on the bridge.

In the event of an emergency, lean forward wrap your arms around your knees and firmly

kiss your ass goodbye.

Last trip out, we got the curse off the boat and caught a fish,

but one fish just ain't gonna cut it.

We need to get another one.

Let's go see if we can join the party and get something going.

Pretty morning.

I really like to be able to share this sunrise with you guys.

It's a very special moment.

Good way to start the day. We'll take it. We like it.

Appreciate you letting me be a part of it.

Right now we're in fifth place in the earnings.

Last season we could catch up to three bluefin a trip.

This year, the regulations have changed. Good shot!

At one fish a day, once you fall behind,

you have to count on the guys ahead of you not to catch.

It's a whole different game.

It's a really short season and every day we can get out here we want to be here.

Even if we catch one today, we're still gonna be behind.

That looks like the Fishin' Frenzy.

Last year we might not have finished out on top, but we beat the Frenzy.

And if you can beat the Frenzy, we can beat anyone.

Nick leaving the Fishin' Frenzy was a huge loss.

There's no doubt about it, Greg wants to prove that he can win without Nick and I know that

this year he's gonna be on his game.

Put us on the meat, Skip!

Frenzy, he's just up there above us about two miles.

Come out behind us, but he's got a little bit more speed.

I know Greg wants to prove that he can win without me, that it's all him.

But I also want to prove that I can win against him, that I had something to do with their success.

And the Little Shell is a contender in my book.

Hopefully we get us a bite, right quick.

Then we can go in, sell it turn around and come back.

Well, now it's just a matter of who's in position every day.

You get out of position one day and it's gonna cost you a fish.

There he is. That's a fish right down there at 25 fathoms.

So there's some fish here.

There's some bluefins. We marked 'em. Jig the stick.

Come on, baby!

There's another one at 17 fathoms.

Holy (bleep), that's them!

They're hungry now. Jig the stick.

Please, jig the, we're gonna go off!

Come on tunas!

Any minute we'll get a bite.

Any minute.

Come on, Duffy! Jig one up, bro! Jig one up!

Smells like tunas.

There he is! There we go.

How about that? We're on!

Well, we're getting close.

It's not like, hey, Greg's on 3 miles away. No, no, no!

They're (bleep) out the window.

Woo! Got one on.

Been out here maybe 20 minutes this morning.

Feels good.

Got a bite.

Did you see him glistening? I did.

Did you see me glistening? I did.

Let's show 'em how it's done.

Ah! They're going down. Not how we want to start the morning. Come on!

Keep jigging. How did they miss it!

Come on! Come on!

There he is! Got 'em on! Out of gear, baby. Woo!

Yeah! That's him.

I'm having a hard time seeing the line. Is it still?

Going right towards the bow again, Greg.

Okay. I gotcha. I got it. I got it now.

Yeah. Right in front of the sun. Yup.

We're gonna put it in the corner here.

Okay. You can go around with him now. Where we like him.

I like starting like that. Yeah. Takin' a little bit.

Hopefully he's a 90-incher.

I hope.

(Bleep) Yo. What the ?

Oh, no. What happened there? Blew it apart?

Oh, no. I don't know what happened. I don't know what happened.

The fish came up beautifully on the stick.

Something must have blown apart whether we straightened out a hook, broke a hook.

Dude!

(Bleep). What the hell.

These tuna are already heading away.

By the time we get our gear reset, we're gonna have to start all over and look for a new mark.

Got the morning bite just like we wanted and yet again, we lose one.

We got clobbered.

Hold up a sec. Still big enough? Yeah.

There we go.

Leader. Leader. Leader. Leader.

Here he comes. Getting close.

Look at him right there behind us.

Let's get this money.

Yeah. Stick him. Got him!

That's what I'm talking about.

Got it? Yup.

Here, come save me.

Game over.

Quick and painless, how we like it.

Thank you for playing.

Nice continental shelf breakfast this morning.

Can't go wrong.

All right, boys we're going home.

We're coming for everybody. Watch out!

Okay. We're going home.

(Bleep), man. I was right where we needed to be, dude.

.

Dammit!

Stupid frenzy!

Killing me junior.

All right, let's see what we got here.

We started out the season slow, but the last couple trips, we're catching fish.

You got to get up early to compete with the Frenzy.

Ninety-nine. Woo!

All right, we got us a 99 incher. Heading to the dock.

It was nice this morning, maybe set out 20 minutes and got us a bite.

Glad to have him.

Got to pay them bills somehow, man. Love it. Love my job.

If it keeps up like this, should be one hell of a season.

Yarr.

We're gonna get bit. You better be on that thing.

With these fish down this tide, it's gonna be game on.

We got the Fishin' Frenzy next to us.

Yeah. He's marking them good down in that end.

Last season, other boats said I wasn't out as much as they were

and they referred to me as a pelican.

The pelican is someone that waits for the information and doesn't go looking.

Okay. We're going home. Still marking 'em up here.

I don't know if we should bring 'em in and run down there.

But it really wasn't working that well for us because we didn't catch too much now did we? So

this year we're just doing our own thing, but I kind of like the pelican thing.

Pelicans are a majestic bird.

Just kind of, trying to keep an eye out and see if we can see any fish popping

on the surface, if there's any birds flying around.

Look for a slick, a flat spot.

You find anything out here to work off of, it's just one more thing closer to catching a tuna,

so you always got to keep your eyes out.

We're gonna get 'em. All right. We need a bite. Need a bite.

Look at that big old slick right there.

That thing exploded.

We marked 'em but they were deep.

Oh, there he is. Oh! That was it.

We're on, that's it. Get inside.

We're on, baby! We just went off. We just went off.

Oh, man making it hard on us.

TJ's tight. (Bleep).

They're gonna be on fire this year, TJ's hot this year.

Turn that hydraulics.

Reel that in.
