The first 200 lines.

Hello. It's nice to meet you.

Welcome to Sketchbook, everyone.

I'm Yu Hui Yeol.

Is it because we're outdoors?

You all look so happy today.

If I knew you'd be this delighted, we would've done this sooner.

A night in spring is perfect to enjoy activities outdoors...

which is why we have put together a music festival.

I welcome you to the first Artificial Grass Music Festival.

I can't find anyone here who isn't smiling.

Truth be told, I'm a bit nervous.

Aren't you a bit hot? The hot sun is blazing...

down on us.

Sketchbook's motto is...

to always give you less than what you expect.

I'll remind you that once again.

I'm pretty sure that we're the first in the world...

to hold a music festival indoors on artificial grass.

How's the grass?

Let's be honest. Strictly speaking,

the grass, sun, moon and everything else here are fake.

However, the line-up we have prepared for you,

the music you'll be hearing today is the real deal.

So settle into your seats as you would at a music festival,

and get ready to enjoy the show.

There's another reason why today's show is special.

Today is the day...

Sketchbook was first aired on television...

seven years ago.

Therefore, to celebrate...

our seventh year anniversary, we put our heads together...

and came up with the perfect line-up.

I'm actually worried that this first artist is too much...

of a superstar,

because he's the king when it comes to music festivals.

The first Artificial Grass Music Festival.

Here is our first artist.

The legend of performances.

Please welcome Lee Seung Hwan.

All right, everyone. "I love you, too."

The First Artificial Grass Festival.

I've known Seung Hwan for a very long time,

so I know that he's super excited right now.

I'm serious. This old man hasn't been outdoors in a long time.

All right. Welcome to the show, Seung Hwan!

Yes. Hello, everyone.

You're super happy now, right? Be honest.

- Me? - Yes.

It actually feels a bit weird.

Why? How so?

- Everyone is sitting down. - Right.

Also, I see some people who look like they could be around my age,

but they should be lying down instead of sitting.

That's right. Comfort comes first.

They should lie down. At festivals, there's an area called picnic zone.

- Right. - It's fun to watch performances...

- while lying down on a blanket. - I totally agree.

We thought about that too, but we don't have enough space.

We were supposed to lie down here on stage during this interview,

but the director said we won't be visible on camera.

He said we won't be seen on camera.

Lee Gyeong Gyu already did that though.

- Oh, you're right. - Yes.

We started planning this three years ago though.

We're sad that he beat us to it. How does it feel overall?

- You mean today's show, right? - Yes.

I've been on Sketchbook many times for the last seven years,

and today's show is certainly the best.

Think of today's show as a picnic. You're on a picnic now.

- Look what I have here. - What is it?

I brought food in this lunchbox for you.

But he can't open it because he's too weak.

- Don't tease me. - You need more muscles.

No, that's not it. I'm just nervous.

- I made this myself. - Wow, it's gimbap!

- Try one. - Okay.

I'll eat one, too.

It's delicious. I made it, but it's really good.

Great. This is awesome.

Anyway, you and I are having this picnic together today.

Seung Hwan was the first guest of Sketchbook's very first show.

He's been with Sketchbook this whole time.

He's like the living proof and fossil that embodies the history.

- When you said "living proof", - Yes.

the word "living" hit me and disheartened me.

- He's healthy... - Because I'll die soon.

- No, that's not what I meant! - No?

What are you talking about now?

As you know, he looks so much younger than his age.

Has Sketchbook changed at all in the last seven years?

What has changed?

Well, I can't think of anything specific.

If that is the case,

are there anything that you think we should change?

- Something you should change? - Yes.

Well, who am I...

to want the show to change?

- Don't say that. Tell us. - I must say that...

this is the only music programme...

on a public TV channel, and it's still very popular.

Everything about it is awesome, so keep up the great work.

Just the fact that this show exists means a lot to us musicians.

Thank you. All of the three public TV channels...

used to have live music shows in the past.

But Sketchbook is the only show of its kind now.

We'll continue doing our best.

This was a long time ago, but do you remember it?

It was a live concert of a foreign artist.

It was outdoors. There were trees at the venue.

The artist sung while holding a baby. Right, it was Kenny Loggins.

- Yes, I remember. - We got so jealous...

- watching the music video. - Was it "The Redwoods"?

Yes. The concert took place in a forest.

That's exactly what we're doing today.

- Really? - Look at the cherry blossoms!

They're in full bloom.

- Is that right? - Yes.

It just makes me feel as if I'm at a Japanese pub.

What on earth are you talking about?

How can you even say that kind of nonsense?

- I apologise. - Goodness.

- I'm not used to shows like this. - Okay, I forgive you.

Seung Hwan is actually here to tell us amazing news.

- He just released a new album. - Yes.

Seung Hwan, please tell us about your new album.

Two years ago, I released an album called...

"Fall to Fly Part 1".

I promised my fans that I'd release part two of the album,

but some bad things happened, and my album was forgotten.

My company actually went bankrupt, so I had to find a different agency.

It's hard for me to continue this story without shedding tears.

- So... - You must've been super stressed.

Your microphone has turned yellow, too.

- Go on. - So...

I thought about it, but I felt that not releasing an album would be...

like ignoring my duty as a musician.

I didn't think it was something a senior musician should do.

I wanted to produce better music.

In addition, I wanted to show everyone that people at my age...

can still be very creative and produce good work.

So I released a song despite the hardships.

It's the first song of "Fall to Fly Part 2".

What's the title?

"The Signal of One Billion Light-years".

"The Signal of One Billion Light-years"?

The title is difficult to understand.

I know. The lyrics are a bit difficult, too.

- I see. - Yes.

I heard that you'll be performing it for the very first time here today.

- That's correct. - Awesome.

- To be honest, Sketchbook... - Yes.

makes me more nervous than any other shows.

- It's the most difficult one. - I can understand that.

I feel comfortable performing on "Concert 7080" or "Open Concert".

So...

Right now... Gosh, it's hot in here.

- Gosh! - Why?

- Look at you. - I'm just taking my jacket off.

You haven't changed at all.

- What are you talking about? - Goodness.

- You're still an exhibitionist. - But Hui Yeol, you're...

- Oh, that's really cool. - No, I meant...

Hui Yeol and I last saw each other about a year ago.

- Yes, that's right. - You've gotten skinnier.

- How did that happen? - I'm on a diet.

I'm eating nuts to stay in shape.

- Is that right? - Yes.

- Gosh, look at you. - Why?

You're still in a great shape.

- What are you talking about? - You look fit.

Didn't you say recently that I look like a kid who does gymnastics?

I need to emphasise this again.

He looked like me when I first met him about 20 years ago.

But he started working out one day and got all buffed up.

Ever since then, he has developed this habit of taking off his jacket.

That's not true at all. There isn't even anything to show.

It's not hot. There's no reason for you to take it off.

No, I feel hot now. The moment you said...

I'll be performing that song, I started feeling hot.

Anyway,

- when I see you, - Yes.

I want to help you.

Seung Hwan, this is the last question. Answer honestly.

This is the first Artificial Grass Festival.

- Be objective, please. - Okay.

Do you think we'll be able to host the second one?

Oh, okay. If this is how it's going to be,

I think you can host it every season.

- Seriously? - Yes.

As we were preparing it, we thought, "This will be the first and last."

Thanks to Seung Hwan, we're feeling a bit more encouraged,

but we'll have to ask other guests as well.

Seung Hwan, since you're performing at this festival today,

please take care of the audience during your next performances...

as if it's your own concert.

- Wow, okay. - Great.

I'm going to leave now.

- I'll leave it in your hands. - Really?

You'll need to keep the audience excited and entertained.

- Okay. - Thank you.
