The monolith was floating in the air, and the faces gave an eerie smile before soundlessly flying off. Trains were delayed.

Kaiju Witness Report 3 Location: Tokyo, Shibuya A humanoid Kaiju suddenly appeared at the scramble crossing outside Shibuya Station. The people around it quickly noticed, and the crowd fled in a panic. It appeared to have an abnormally expanded brain and a hole where its face should be, and was approximately 2m tall and rail-thin, with an intestine-like skirt at its waist. It observed the surroundings casually for three minutes...

Kaiju Witness Report 4 Location: Kanagawa Prefecture, Chigasaki A local couple was walking along the beach on a surfing trip when they saw objects flying at them. These objects were living fish, and this lasted for several dozen seconds. After this strange phenomenon, they saw a Kaiju in the ocean swallowing the fish whole. ...head, a rotund body and exposed spine. After devouring all the floating fish, it disappeared into the sea.

Kaiju Witness Report 5 Location: Tochigi Prefecture, Utsunomiya A car was traveling near the Kamikawachi Service Area when the driver witnessed a moving Kaiju. It was humanoid with long legs... ...around its head, and its top speed exceeded 100km/hr. After running for 12km, it disappeared. Multiple sightings of the same Kaiju reported.

What's going on here?

We've had 14 unresolved Kaiju incidents just in the last month.

There's no precedent for this.

What they all have in common is...

the Kaiju disappear before the Defense Force arrives.

Tokyo, Shibuya Ward Humanoid Kaiju suddenly appears in the middle of Shibuya. Observes the surroundings for 3 minutes and then vanishes.

They clearly have greater intelligence than traditional Kaiju.

It's probably an omen of the coming No. 9 disaster.

Then the speed at which Kaiju are being made is far greater than No. 10 said.

We need to be ready to deal with this soon.

For No. 3, No. 5, and No. 7, there are multiple potential candidates,

and we're deciding whether to focus them in Kanto or spread them around the country.

I guess we're bringing every anti-Kaiju force we have into this battle, then.

But if we see multiple Kaiju like the one that defeated Isao so easily,

it won't be enough.
