The first 200 lines.

Hey Jonas!

- It's an exciting day for the pod. - Extremely exciting.

Joe, we had a very interesting ride here. It was really special.

We partnered up with our friends at Hyundai for Hope on Wheels,

which is an amazing initiative they've had going since 1998.

- They've raised over 300... - 300 million

Million dollars to support individuals living with pediatric cancer.

And their families, the doctors, the researchers.

A portion of every purchase of a Hyundai has gone to this initiative.

And I think for us as fathers, um,

these kind of partnerships are key.

Ways in which we can show love to families,

going through tough moments,

and we have three incredible warriors here at the pod.

Where's Piper?

- Piper. - Belle.

- And Eliza. - And Eliza's here. Hey, Eliza.

- Front row. - Thank you for joining us.

Thank you so much.

You're an inspiration. We're so happy. I believe we met Belle.

So my mom hosted you all at Saddleback Easter Church service

back in 2009.

- I was one years old. - You were one.

What do you remember from that experience?

It was at the Angel Stadium, and my mom hosted you all,

and then you guys sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider" to me, which is crazy.

It is a full-circle moment to be here.

Wow. Well, you know what?

I think that's the only time...

The itsy bitsy spider... That's all we got.

We have to pay for the song to use it here.

That's the first time we've ever performed that song together.

- I love that. - We're honored that you're here.

To everyone here, all the warriors, thank you for spending your day with us,

and we have a very special show for you.

Today, Camp Rock is out.

We are so excited to be introducing you to the new cast, the Camp Rock 3...

Oh. Ooh.

This is dangerous. My soundboard is...

Soundboard is Camp Rock-ified.

Let's back it up quick.

Before we get into Camp Rock 3,

let's go to where the journey began with Disney as a whole for us.

But more specifically, with Camp Rock.

- Ooh. - Right.

Okay, so to really paint the picture,

we have to go back to the year 2006.

We had just moved from New York, New Jersey area to Los Angeles,

and one of our big first meetings

was here in this town that we're in now, in Burbank,

at the Disney Channel building.

They would give us these scripts for fake shows

that had funny bits for us to do,

- and Kevin, you found... - Yeah.

One of our OG auditions for the Disney Channel.

For whatever reason, because the audition was not good,

they saw enough promise in us

that they kind of kept us in mind for different projects.

And I remember specifically, we were on tour in '07, early 2007.

We called it The Marvelous Party Tour, which is really...

- Something... - Great name.

And we were playing at Six Flags across the country, and our father said,

"Disney has this project that they're putting together.

They hope it'll become like the next High School Musical,

and they'd like Joe to audition."

And so with this camera, it's called a FlipVid.

They also asked, they said,

"The audition is one song of your choosing and a dance as well."

They didn't say what kind of dance.

- We need to find this clip, though. - We got to.

Basically, the audition was shot so poorly and...

We thought we crushed it.

We used the lamp in the room,

but turned it like this to hold it like this,

so that the hole was like a spotlight.

That's as good as we got.

To be honest, I was panicked that Joe was gonna go do this movie,

become a big star on his own, and then the band would be over.

Our dad had a different idea.

Basically, he called and said, exactly, "If you want Joe to be in this movie,

then you got to include Nick and Kevin in some way."

And so they literally wrote in our two characters, Nate and Shane.

There happened to be other Shane...

- What's your character's name? - Jason.

We still don't know if we're brothers in the movie or not.

- In Camp Rock? - Nobody knows.

In two...

The credits of the first one, it just says Nate and Jason.

- Yeah. - No last name.

- No last name. - So we don't know to this day.

I think we can assume that we're related in the film.

- I think cousins. - Have you ever watched the first one?

- The Camp Rock ? - Yeah.

Have I watched it? No.

- Should I? - You've watched it.

- Yeah. - We watched it at the premiere.

I love watching my own work. But we watched the premiere.

I remember,

yeah, it's interesting that they watched the dance part,

knowing that I'm not the greatest, and they're like,

"We're gonna hire you, and you're gonna do a dance number."

They believed in you. They saw something.

Somebody finally saw something.

Starts up the party...

Well, anyway, cut to 18 years later,

and here we are at the release of Camp Rock 3,

which we produced alongside our friends over at Disney,

and really got to do the thing that was exciting for me on this project,

which was putting together a group

of absolutely just incredibly talented young people

to take the torch

and kind of usher in a new generation of Camp Rockers.

And this cast is just amazing, and it's been...

It's been incredible already just to see all of their profiles

just exploding as the promotion for the movie's begun,

and it's just going to be even more massive

once people see the movie on Disney Plus,

which you can watch here, click over from this platform.

- Or now we're on Hulu as well, guys. - Yes, you can like...

- So you're watching and listening to us. - Yeah.

But we have some of the cast here today.

And they're going to share some of their Camp Rock stories.

- We're gonna get the info. - All the tea.

- Ooh. - Um... We're gonna ask questions.

- The hard-hitting questions. - That's what we're known for here.

Is it?

Yeah.

What kind of questions should you ask?

I have a list. I don't know if you got this, too.

- I did. - Oh, yeah.

- Should we bring them in? - I think we should.

Our first guests play Sage and Fletch in the film,

Camp Rock 3,

played by Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura.

Here's a clip of them in the film, and then we're gonna bring them out.

Most days I am inspired.

Some days I am a wreck.

I'm confident and insecure.

Even at my best...

- Not bad. - I'm still struggling with the lyrics.

You just got to have fun with it.

You make it sound so easy.

All right. Just so you know, all of this isn't going to distract me.

- All right? I'm in it to win it. - So am I.

Congratulations. You guys are no strangers to premieres.

- Tonight's not a big deal for you. - It'll be fun.

It's gonna be so sick.

Obviously, it's not strangers, but still, I'm just excited.

Yeah.

- It's been a crazy month already of promo. - Yeah.

Between Camp Rock stuff getting going, but also Descendants, most recently.

My girls absolutely loved it.

- Did they? - Yeah.

Disney franchises. How does that feel?

Oh, my gosh.

It feels, so, honestly so crazy. I like have to pinch myself every day.

God is so good, and I think it just feels so unreal.

It feels very special to be a part of all these franchises,

because I'm gonna be a part of all this new generation's childhood,

and that means so much. So...

I know how much the movies meant to me growing up,

and so now that I'm gonna be a part of it it, feels so wild.

- Yeah. I love it. - That's great.

Yeah, it is crazy for us, as we mentioned on set, to, um,

to be looking at all of you and seeing how talented you are.

But really carrying the torch and introducing a whole new generation

to something that we loved being a part of.

- Yeah. - Yeah.

And that we look back at now with such nostalgia and gratitude.

Malachi, for you, stepping into this role

after having already been in so many beloved films

with Disney and, and taking this on,

was there any pressure about the Camp Rock franchise?

Were you aware of it before you signed on?

Oh, 100%, I was aware.

I've said this before, the Camp Rock franchise is something

that's just automatically embedded into your childhood, no matter what.

Ooh, I love that.

We'll take it.

It's great.

It's so great.

- We told him to say that. - He did.

He paid me right backstage right before I came on.

Say this, please.

I think that for a second, I was like, "Is there gonna be pressure?"

I want to say thank you for making it feel like there was no pressure,

because you guys could've been like, "This is our baby,

and we've created this, and this has been our thing,

and have to do what you guys have to do."

You guys gave us the space to create and make it our own.

I want to say thank you,

and made it feel like there was no pressure.

Obviously, there's the like, "We're making Camp Rock again." A bit of pressure.

There was pressure.

Hearing Malachi with "Tomorrow"

and Liamani with "One Beat Away" for the first time,

we were going through the production process

and hearing your versions of it, and it was like, "Okay."

- "This is gonna work." - It's so good.

Best in the world.
