The first 200 lines.
This is it guys.
We are now approaching a place called Sutro Ghost Town.
One of the low-key factor...
How did that just start? - What?
What'd she just say? - Drift with the tide?
There's nothing on my phone.
We didn't touch... I don't understand. - It was like a female voice.
What's she say? - It sounded something like, "Drift with the tide?"
Hey, guys. Just as we drove in, my phone, which is on a home screen,
some lady's voice came through this
and said something.
Drift with the tide?
It was so weird. - Something like that.
My phone was just sitting there. There's no reason for that.
There are things in this world that we will never fully understand.
Understand.
We want answers.
We have worked years to build our credibility.
Our reputation.
Working along side the most renowned professionals in the field.
Capturing ground-breaking proof of the paranormal.
It's working! - Whoa!
I can't give an explanation.
This is our evidence. Our Ghost Adventures.
Make the turn right here.
We have to go through this gate.
The main focus of this place in our investigation is the Sutro tunnel.
Engineer Adolph Sutro, left San Francisco at 1860.
Moved to Virginia City, Nevada
and quickly added extreme wealth to his already successful career
due to the silver ore in the Comstock lode.
He then designed a concept for a drainage tunnel
to eliminate the threat of flooding.
As the focus on mine-workers safety
following the disaster of the Yellow Jacket mine,
the Sutro Tunnel was born.
Despite Sutro efforts to improve workers' safety,
which made him a hero to most,
the amount of mysterious fires and deaths have led some to call
the Sutro tunnel cursed.
Which is exactly why we are here to investigate
the countless reports of hauntings scattered throughout Sutro.
You guys see the Sutro Tunnel?
All the miner that died, all their spirits are said to use that as a portal.
When they come out of that tunnel,
these are the very buildings that they occupy.
And that's what makes this such a fascinating and very scary investigation.
There's no telling how many spirits of those miners
have travelled through the Sutro Tunnel
and what they now believe, is a portal to the spiritual dimension
within these mines.
It isn't just about those deaths.
There was also 12 confirmed deaths
during the construction of this portal.
We first meet site manager Chris,
who informs us that we have stepped onto grounds
with many more deaths and graves
that may be contributing to the hauntings in this ominous town.
Over to our right there, there is a stake sticking out of the ground.
Can you tell me what's eerie about that stake?
Well, we don't know exactly what's buried there.
There's a marker. It says, "Tucker Highland and Lyon spelled L-Y-O-N."
It says, "Died Mother's day."
So, there could be the body of a little baby there.
Yeah.
And nobody knows who put that stake there. - No one knows.
Just, yet another mystery here. - Yeah.
Chris now takes us to the site where a house burned down to the ground.
And even though a vague impression of the foundation is all that remains
the foundation is all we need.
Embedded in that space could be the residue from the fear and pain
that echo during the last breaths of life.
Suddenly, Chris tells us that he wants to show us something.
Something that he's never shown anyone before.
This will be the very first time
that this site and these unmarked graves are gonna be revealed.
Not just on television, but to mean in general?
Yeah. To everybody.
Just walking on this ground is electric.
You can feel a vibration. A definite presence.
So, these are the graves. - Oh, wow.
Here's... - One, two, three, four, five, six,
and this is where the foundation was of the house that burned down.
And this isn't the only fire that has occurred here.
Right behind me is the foundation of an old mansion.
Something started a fire.
Yeah. It did bring down in 1942.
The fire started while they were in the house, correct? Correct.
Could have been arson. - Yeah.
But, that means that this person wanted them to be burnt alive.
Yeah.
What's interesting, too, is that our research indicated
that it was believed that that entire family died in that fire.
And these graves would support that information.
When we drove past this building,
is when this weird woman's voice came through my phone.
...rush in with the tide.
What the
I immediately got this thought
like, all these lost souls from these unmarked graves
and all of the deaths from the Sutro Tunnel,
that's where they reside.
That's where they are.
As we take our own steps in life, each closer to our own end,
you almost, with time, become more and more connected to that spiritual side of you
that will be born when that screen goes black.
And for me, that spiritual connection started way earlier in life.
When I saw a photo of this house, I locked eyes on it.
And these buildings, they will talk to me.
And when I saw this house, it said, "You need to come here."
I'm here now to figure out what that message is.
What's incredible about this location
is that as we move closer to every structure,
you can feel a disturbing and swirling energy emanating from its bones
like an invisible fog that envelops your body.
Tellin' you, there's just something about this house, you guys.
I know a lot about that house. That house used to be mine.
Really? - Yeah.
Vietnam veteran, Greg Melton,
felt something dark in one of the rooms in this house.
Something so dark that he would stay far away from it.
Okay. On the... upper part.
Do you feel threatened by that energy when you're in there?
You know, we were just talking to Chris.
He showed us a lot of different unmarked graves here.
And 12 men who died. - Hmm-hmm.
You factor in how that tunnel is a central artery
to that network of veins,
and I feel as though that tunnel is a portal.
That port and slurry you have.
So, you've got a geo-magnetic source
coming out of that mine at a nuclear level.
Different mysterious death and unmarked graves, uh,
and what you have is this house
signifying a beacon of residence
for those said spirits.
This is where they go.
Greg then takes us to yet another foundation of a structure
that no longer stands,
and it just happens to be another mysterious discovery
to add to our growing list,
fueling the ominous aura of this faded town.
So, Greg, what is significant about this spot you brought us to?
Where is the cabin now?
That's weird. - That is weird.
How did it get burnt down?
That house over there got burnt down.
Your house got mysteriously burnt down.
The Sutro curse?
And nobody knows how the fires have started.
Greg now shares, the moment that started believing
as well as supplying us with a possible source
of who or what has started all the fires.
So, this happened multiple times? - Yeah.
It was like a film, though.
I'm beginning to think
that this soldier is the root of all the destruction.
It's territorial nature.
Burning down every structure that people try to live in.
Leaving unmarked graves all over this town's foundation.
But why?
The same exact spirit. That's compelling.
That's proof. What more do you want?
This entity, hunting down its victims,
did he follow Greg from the house to the cabin?
Is he holding other entities in the Victorian house?
Is that his chamber? And where is he now?
The storm has passed and we have a strong belief
that this soldier is at the root of the hauntings and multiple fires.
And that the souls he has taken for his own
are locked away inside this chilling Victorian house.
We will not continue to gather more information
before we strategize a thorough investigation of this doomed town
and the Sutro portal.
We meet Nadine, who tells us she entered the Victorian house once
and was confronted by a very aggressive spirit.
What did they tell you?
It said, " you." - Okay.
I now make my way down to the carriage house
where two women may have also encountered this same transient spirit.
Collette and Claudia's experience support the information
we have collected so far,
adding weight to the possibility
that this entity is everywhere it needs to be.
I know that you both had experience
in this carriage house. - Mmm-hmm.
Uh, but I'm gonna send in Aaron and Billy blind
in to investigate this without knowing anything. - Okay.
So, I don't wanna contaminate their investigation when they go inside.
So, why don't... Can we move somewhere else while they enter in there
and do a preliminary investigation? - Yeah. Sure.
Billy and Aaron cross the threshold
to see if they can capture anything
as I simultaneously discuss this building
with hopes that this kind of attention stirs whatever lives within it.
All right, we're coming in.
Whoa. Look at that flooring, man.
Tell me a little bit about exactly what happened, uh,
when both of you were in there.
I was standing by in the big room by the wall,
